Well, to be fair it's hard to judge the quality of the dialog from out of context snippets. But as I said, I found the general effect to be underwhelming. It also seemed to me the NPC's went on and on talking without much involvement from the PC. It appears by "cinematic story telling" Bioware means watching without participating.

Man, some people's time sure is cheap. How so? If you don't have one or two hours time to play every once in a while, you are doing something wrong. I've got a lot of time to get a save for ME2 before it is released. But I am little scared what will happen when DA is released, my grades might have a little nosedive Just sounds strange to spend all that time just for a save. You really don't have a better way to spend 2 hours?

The quest they showed doesn't look too promising if that's all there is to it, but may be it was just meant to show off the combat. The environments look good, but I don't understand why they chose the cartoony look for the characters, the ones in KOTOR looked much better. Somehow after the gameplay videos my expectations for the game went downhill.

AC2 might be good if they fix the problems of the first one as promised. Also I might try Conviction if there's a demo.

No not really. No one said anything about not wanting romances, there was talk about M/M romance and that is the respone by those on the bio boards when someone posts something derogatory in those threads. There was a discussion about badly done romances and people being obsessed with romances. I simply pointed out that all romances can be skipped, which is what I usually do.

The start of this discussion was that many on the bio boards thought they weren't optional but essential. If you saying there is an anti-gay sentiment here, I pretty sure your wrong. That's quite a leap you made there.

I guess now is a good time to mention again that Bioware romances are completely optional.

I don't think the new ones are that bad. On the early ones it's probably 100% failure.

Probably would've made the game a lot more interesting though. Though in Bioware's rendition, Saren would still be breeding an army of Krogan just to take out one council member.
