  1. Fine, Ubisoft goes back on my evil crap publisher list.
  2. Man, some people's time sure is cheap.
  3. Well, you have to consider the cost of it being localized into Australian.
  4. No not really. No one said anything about not wanting romances, there was talk about M/M romance and that is the respone by those on the bio boards when someone posts something derogatory in those threads. There was a discussion about badly done romances and people being obsessed with romances. I simply pointed out that all romances can be skipped, which is what I usually do.
  5. The start of this discussion was that many on the bio boards thought they weren't optional but essential. If you saying there is an anti-gay sentiment here, I pretty sure your wrong. That's quite a leap you made there.
  6. I guess now is a good time to mention again that Bioware romances are completely optional.
  7. First gameplay video, including jet pack: http://pc.ign.com/dor/objects/816935/biowa...pc1_082109.html Hopefully the actual game won't be as combat heavy as that video.
  8. Why do people have to derail threads with their crazy ****?
  9. Think of it this way, your charisma is so high you're basically their cult leader, so they'll even drink kool-aide for you.
  10. I don't think the new ones are that bad. On the early ones it's probably 100% failure.
  11. How do you convert people then?
  12. Probably would've made the game a lot more interesting though. Though in Bioware's rendition, Saren would still be breeding an army of Krogan just to take out one council member.
  13. No, they don't talk, they're like dolphins, I already said.
  14. No, they never run out of tasty humans.
  15. I've replayed HL2 to see the better graphics on the 360 (compared to Xbox), but it wasn't as good as the first time, but that's a usual problem for me. The only other shooter I replayed was Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the replay was also awesome but I turned off the auto-aim.
  16. Dragons are like dolphins.
  17. There are a lot of advantages in having your own engine, the chief one is the in-house expertise which just isn't possible with someone else's.
  18. Just found out on gamespot Wolfenstein has a checkpoint system and no manual saves! What is this infectious insanity and will it never end?
  19. You guys play old games. It's KOTOR and K2 for me.
  20. Definitely one of the top shooters I've ever played. The two best things are the atmosphere and that just about every combat encounter is a sort of puzzle in itself, where you have to figure out how to best dispose of the enemies. Environmental puzzles were great too, definitely a cut above what you usually see in games. The story was OK, not outstanding but did the job. There was some lack of motivation so that sometimes it seemed like a long road trip. Episode 1 had the tightest construction so it's probably my favorite. Don't really understand the complaint about weak guns, I loved to splatter Combine on the walls with my shotgun. May be the reason some people don't like it is because it's a slower paced shooter, with lots of rising and falling action, instead of being frenetic throughout, the latter being something I strongly dislike. Just a theory.
  21. No worries, this is obviously Bioware's heartwarming version of "The Dirty Dozen".
  22. The scene where a strider blows up a whole house is amazing as well. Yeah, too bad the bastards spoiled that for me in a preview video. You really have to be careful in which game videos you watch.
  23. Giving the player less HP is fine, I hate it when they give a ton of HP to the enemies though, it just makes me feel I should be using a real gun instead of a pea shooter.
  24. What did it do?
