  1. May I remind people that Russia and China may be right wing on social issues but they remain QUITE economic leftist. It's one of those situations where if you feel REALLY strongly about a certain issue, you can't help but characterize them on whatever end of the spectrum you hate. Myself, for instance, despise economic rightism that's prevalent in the western hemisphere and am moderate on social issues, so the economic situation takes precedent here.
  2. Trump support is all about white supremacy and very little to do with income and education. I truly question the motives of people who try to lump lower class people into something they hate. It almost sounds like they're asking for some kind of working class revolution or something, as it is a very conservative opinion to encase yourself in an upper echelon of society and scorn those on the bottom. That's how all revolutions start.
  3. Meh, British police outright killed Ian Tomlinson in similar circumstances, and I'm sure a few cases of police brutality have made the press in the US too over the past year. Police gonna police, wherever they are. As always, western media is guilty of massive wishful thinking about both Navalny's popularity and exactly who comes out to protest. Khabarovsk being the typical indicator, voted in the Liberal Democratic candidate in a landslide which has to be good since it isn't United Russia/ Putin and the guy is a liberal democrat, two good things... except LDPR is Vladimir Zhirinovsky's party of ultra nationalists, not some nice safe progressive liberal democrat in the western sense. Mirrors the protests in ~2012 where there was a prevalence of Soviet and Nationalist flags and even if Putin went you'd get either Zhirinovsky or Zyuganov instead. Zyuganov in particular would have been amusing, given how much effort the US put into interfering in the 1996 election on Yeltsin's behalf and against Zyuganov. The ultimate problem with Navalny is that he has next to no appeal outside a very small set- young, educated, middle class, urban. Of course, they're the people that westerners typically interact with and who speak to/ use western media, so you get massive confirmation bias of some sort of grassroots uprising bubbling away. That's a bit of a threat to Putin since those demographics are concentrated in important places like Moscow or St Pete's, but not much of one- when only 0.1% of a city turns out to protest. Zhirinovsky?? He's like the court jester of the Kremlin, I swear they found him one day spouting lunatic anti-western pro-Eurasian rants at flies on the corner of a Moscow street and they were all like, "Can we keep him"?
  4. Michael Tracey on Twitter: "The most bizarre moment in recent Larry King history is when Trump briefly appeared on his Ora TV show in September 2016, and the US media manufactured a panic that entailed accusing Larry -- one of the most conventional and anodyne media figures ever -- of being a Russian agent" / Twitter
  5. Not an issue on the Nvidia end, I have 3 8-pin connectors on my 3090 and with fans at 100% it hovers around 60 degrees, and that's overclocked.
  6. Yeah perhaps you need a right wing strongman to show those Commies who's boss, correct? I swear these self proclaimed "leftists" want their cake and want to eat it to.
  7. "Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires." -Steinbeck (attributed)
  8. Biden Doubles Down on Amnesty (msn.com) LOL @ alt right types who thought Biden would deport immigrants without the "Eye of Sauron" mainstream media scrutinizing him.
  9. I will give QANON props for at least attempting to point out corruption in the U.S. government. Honestly if they weren't right wing I wouldn't be so hard on them, but I'm glad they're being discredited because that gives populists leftists a chance to shine in the future.
  10. We need a maximum wage. 12 million a year, 1 million per month. If you can't survive off of that, something is very wrong.
  11. Senator Ted Cruz on Twitter: "By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans." / Twitter Beyond parody at this point. "By attending the Geneva Convention, person X is demonstrating that they are more interested in the citizens of of Switzerland than the citizens of Georgia" Also, Instacart is firing every employee who voted to unionize - The Verge Corporations are people to you know
  12. Articles of Impeachment Filed Against President Joe Biden - Breaking911 First day on the job.
  13. Populism Updates on Twitter: "This new Yang ad is incredible https://t.co/rHkS1FbONL" / Twitter
  14. Soulsborne games are a perfect middle ground, where online play and single player are kinda molded together.
  15. It's a start in the right direction but foresight tells me that structural change should be the long term goal. Automation is crucial towards a more egalitarian world where nature and technology work hand in hand.
  16. Funny how people living outside America and don't understand the "mood on the ground" seem to believe that everything was peaches and roses before Trump showed up. Again, populist sentiment -be it right or left- is not going to go anywhere so long as the neoliberal establishment remains firm. Way too many contradictions now being exposed in this system. People like Trump are the symptoms.
  17. Bull****. In two years the pendulum will swing left because it has nowhere else to go. Trump will be largely forgotten and overridden. The right had their chance to get a leg up in the culture war and the blew it, leaving his lingering support pariarah grade.

  19. I think we've been there since 2016. I live in a deep blue state but I see MAGA dolts everywhere. EDIT: But the thing is, right wing extremism has been prevalent in our society for many decades! It's just the establishment/ruling/media class has always overlooked them and underestimated the threat they pose, until it came up and bit them in the ass.
  20. My favorite one was "The capitol police was ordered by Congress to allow them inside the building and then intentionally turned on them to set the whole thing up in order to clamp down on The Deplorables". Sometimes reading nonsense from right wing sources is highly amusing, some of the more intelligent ones are very good story tellers. It's like reading a fine work of Thriller fiction. Great for entertainment, not to be taken literally or seriously.
  21. "Leader of Antifa" like left wing movements are some kind of rigid cultish hierarchy. But I guess that's the only language the right understands.
  22. Glorious victory. Hitman fans are ecstatic on social media. The backstory: There was a great deal of controversy regarding Hitman 3 being an Epic Exclusive (What else is new!?) but not because it was and Epic exclusive, but because it was stated that you wouldn't get access to the previous games with updated content from Hitman 3 if you had them on Steam (Or elsewhere) by buying it on Epic. Each game in the "World of Assassination" Trilogy is a single chapter and all games are connected together every time a new one releases it augments the prequal with updated GFX and weapons/equipment/etc. IOI servers are now implementing it so every version you own is going to be connected and you won't have to do any rebuying.

  24. Trump ending presidency with approval rating at new low in CNN poll | TheHill Good, now on to Richmond. Time to squash these bastards so we can work on proper reforms.
