Has there been any indication that they might? I really doubt they will reuse much from Van Buren - time has moved on since that project. Time may have moved on, but there's still a chance they're using some stories/quests and characters from VB. Nothing wrong with that, as long as they're integrated in a sensible manner.

Being "nice" to the fans is often counter-productive, if not harmful for your business. I agree, they should have at least charged for the Enhanced Edition, but then the so called nice fans would have bitched and mouned like hell. Don't coddle the fans too much.

That's sad to hear, but CDR should never have bothered with the Enhanced Edition, as they lost a whole year on making basically the same game instead of using these ressources to get straight to the console ports. I mean who gives a **** about some re-made art assets and some re-recorded lines? It's still the same game with the same strengths and flaws. Console ports should have been released around Holiday 2008 and CDR would be doing fine today. But hey, the PC fans and all that...

Been playing this for a while and I enjoy it very much. In fact, I enjoy DArk Athena more then Butcher's Bay. The voice acting of the cast is superb, sticking knifes into drones heads never gets old, and just the overall hiding-sneaking-attacking mechanics works very well. And Riddick is just a well done badass. Neither Sheppard nor Marucs Fenix come close to his badassness.

I'd try out SWAT 4 Coop.

I guess DX3 will be between DX and IW on the suck-oh-meter. Better than IW because of better technology, but worse than DX1, because you can't make Chess 2.

Lost Odyssey. Disc 2 now, in the mansion. There's some really stupid puzzles in there, otherwise the game is cool. Jansen is a real Jackass, I like him. Also playing Butcher Bay (currently stuck) and started playing Assault on Dark Athena. Really cool game. Starbreeze should get going on making FPS-RPG hybrids, they know how to make good characters.

Velvet Assassin has almost been as long in development as DNF. I remember back in 1999 when I saw first gameplay footage (formely known as Sabotage). It was a FPS with some stylish cutscenes and such. Now, ten years later, it gets released finally. But I won't give it a chance if there's no demo, as the team has been unproven, and it just reeks after Splinter Cell in WW2.

Yeah I agree there should be several FNV threads, but I suspect the evil mods won't allow that.

Well the game is supposed to come out on July 31th in German speaking countries. But I'll remain sceptical. Gotta try out a demo, and if there's no demo, then there will be no purchase.

But there's no way I can bring that bugger down. First kill is easy, but when he resurrects, he already uses a full charge immediately. That's just unfair. No matter what tactics I use, there's always that little bit too much that brings my party down. I'm no further wasting time on that game. Don't give up so easily *sigh* Have any suggestions? It was quite a while since i finished Lost Odyssey, but the i clearly remember using the strategy of killing a couple bugs so there are 1-2 left, and then started to concentrate on the main boss. Didn't know the creature is so vulnerable against water based attacks. He sacked down like a potatoe bag. Hehe.

if Bethie allows it. it's Bethesda after all! Probably not, Bethesda doesn't want nudity or sexual references while shooting bad guys into a pool of blood or nuking entire cities. They just don't wanna see it. Somebody has to think of the children; nippleslips while committing murder? There has to be some morality and decency, goddammit! Why do you think that? Hey guise can you recommend me some good (niche) SciFi movies a'la Sunshine or Solaris? Perhaps there are some I've missed.

I wonder if we get to see some exotic dancers and strippers. It's Vegas, after all!
