Yeah, some VO is too slow, and trying to read faster while the chap talks is unbearibly annoying. Especially that Dwarven nutsjob in the Deep Roads was annoying as hell.

Would you rather talk to mute characters, face to face? That would just look awkward. The only option to bypass that is to go NWN isometric style only, where you can't see the character's faces. But that's not gonna happen.

I only did the chantry boards in Denerim. I didn't bother to do every single dip**** quests, because many deemed to be uninteresting to me. I also did the Shale quest, but that was totally worthless. Edit: 30 hours is what the savegame says. That's probably 50 hours with all the dying and loading times.

60 hours? You must be doing something wrong. I finished it in 30 hours but still did pretty much everything.

I'd stay away from these registry cleaners. They once prevented me to install SP2 on Vista.

This DLC seems to me pretty wothless as it doesn't add a new storyline or anything. It's just another spot on the map where you get fighting through masses of darkspawn, then have maybe some dude talking to about some artefact, and that's it. I prefer a full expansion pack a'la ToB or HoTU a lot more.

EU posts are just dumping sites for nobodies and failed ministers. It's even more cynical that a Briton (the biggest EU skeptics of all) is getting the forgeign minister position.

Mass Effect was a good game, but it gets easily beaten down by the excellent Dragon Age.

Dragon Age. A wonderful game. Easily Bio's best work since BG2. I'm nearing completion. Uncharted 2. Mindblowing graphics, it's really stunning what power the PS3 hardware exhibits. The game itself is good, but not excellent.

EA got rid of the 1500 staff because they don't fit anymore in their future policy. EA now is restructuring, focusing on less well established IP and milking it a'la Activision does. Not what I think is great as a consumer, but hey... Those 1500 folks will easily find new jobs, there are tons of other game companies in the LA area and around.

I'm slightly interested, but I will get it at a later date as my plate right now is full. Prolly the console version as I can sell it back, which doesn't work with Steamworks stuff. I haven't played CoD4 yet.
