Manhunt. Funny little game, but for some reason I'm not succeeding often enough in a stealth kill. Fistfights are not fun.

Guys, I wanna buy a new game for small money. I'm in the mood to play something...twisted. My options are either Manhunt or Second Sight. Which one is better and why?

Demonicon is from the same guys that made the awful The Fall game. I'd stay away from it. But it probably won't be released anyway, because the publisher is in trouble.

Finished the game and I must say it was a real drag. Too much driving, too much senseless stuff to do (unloading cigarettes) and some annoying stealth. Otherwise, it was technically well done, acting and cutscenes were excellent, story so-so. Is Mafia 1 the same drag?

You can't have a long main story and all the companion sidequest stuff in ME2, it would have gone over-budget and we all know that Bio knows it's accountancy homeworks.

I never got into this Penumbra stuff, because I hate games where I can't fight back.

A shame Alexander Brandon isn't with Obsidian anymore.

This game sacks DA2 artistically and technically by a large margin. Also looking forward what Geroge Ziets is cooking up in the story/writing department. 'Cause what that guy did with MotB was pure genius!

Well the game started out to be much more ambitious, but in the end, 2K Czech had to cut corners. But even that doesn't justify a 6 year development cycle. Those lazy Bohemians...

For those into Horror games, there's an Amnesia demo out on Steam. It's from the Penumbra developers, so better check it out.

So far I'm in Chapter 11 and the game's pretty good, but not brilliant. I doubt there will be a Mafia 3 though.

I'm sure they meant a Core 2 Quad as Recommended, not Minimum. Either way, stop crying and wait for the demo to try out.

The way I see it is this: Gothic 4 won't sell enough, NoGood will announce insolvency in the following months. Nobody of course will help them out (like Koch media did in the past), so they are goners and all their properties will be sold. Koch Media/Deep Silver will snatch the Gothic license and publish a new Gothic game with Piranha Bytes. And everything will be fine again.

Starcraft 2 sells 3 million in a month Not bad for a strategy game, not bad.... So far for PC gaming being dead.
