Well in some case you are of course correct, but at the same time, I believe, if private company is unable to pay their employees a wage, which is good enough for living decent life (e.g. not being in poverty, despite working 8 hours a day, including overtime (of course only in case that the employee is responsible with its spending), then this company does not deserve to be on the market. Just to clarify it, in Slovakia, minimum wage is around 650EUR brutto (dunno the exact number). Cost of living in our capital is somewhere around 800-1200EUR monthly for a single person. So the owner of any company in our capital, which is paying less than 800 EUR netto, should be hit in the balls with a giant hammer...

I would not say, we have properly working unions here, but I still see advantages having them in Slovak private owned companies. But I do not have any experience how their work in state owned companies. There are no bad news about them in our media, so they might not be bad as well.

This is not a union issue, but I do not agree with you, that gaming does not need a unions. I cannot judge how is this in every country, but properly working unions in a Slovak company can guarantee you up to triple monthly income, much safer and healthier working conditions, etc., etc... compared to a Slovak company, if there are no unions

Then can you please explain to me, why the biggest culprits in the workplace misconduct are the "wokest" companies of them all? Like Ubisoft, Blizzard and now Paradox? This is a serious question... They even have Chief Diversity Officers with 6 digits salaries to take care for that, but it seems to me, they are just rotten to the core, and the CDO position is there only to cover up their ****ups...

Well, it is very hard to recommend anything, most of the online magazines, which I have read when I was much younger, are now riddled with game non-related political stuff, which do not tell me anything about the games, which I want to play. When I want to read politics, I go read political magazines. For me gaming is escapism from my busy daily routine, and I want to stay it that way... And I am saying that, as a person, who gets called "woketard" a lot because of my IRL career Anyway back to topic, if you are into Japanese games, I can recommend you Siliconera, which is probably a single online magazine, which I still read, which is still not completely rotten by the politics...

I had little bit more time today, so I have started Druidstone again after two month break, and finished three more missions on Hard for three new achievements. It is still very enjoyable game for me, and you need to solve some levels and achievements like puzzles. If you have not played it, I still can only recommend it. The developers are still releasing patches, if they get some bug reports, even if minor or rare one... Also I have played this evening little bit of Rebel Galaxy again, and tired to jump into more difficult sectors. Unfortunately, this cost me my hired mercenary, which was shot down so I had to hire a new one. for 120K Credits, ouch. I really hope, he will be good enough support for this kind of money. But still compared to my new mining laser, which cost me 1.2M Credits, it is just spare changes

After a long break, I have booted up Fairy Fencer F again for that silly 100 million gald achievement I ended up at 60 million, and will probably take another break

I got my first Destroyer Class ship in Rebel Galaxy, it cost me over 2 million credits. I had to save more than 7 millions to be able to get good enough weapons to complete missions which give you enough money as a reward, else I would still be grinding. I really like how they made the game balanced, if you are willing to spent a lot of money on ridiculously expensive weapons. These upgrades are powerful enough, to be able to take much harder missions. I got from 800k to 2.5m ship faster, than I got from 150k to 250k ship.

Yeah, I've noticed it few days ago, did not knew, they made the angry modders made new site. I fully understand, that they are angry, with the way how it is handled, they are losing much of the control of their mods. Thanks for the link to the newer site, I hope it will become more userfriendly than the Nexus...
