TBH, I am not very surprised to read that. Our government was during 2008-2020 also pretty much pro-russian, and despite that in 2014, after attack on Donbas, they pretty fast changed our laws and forbid our citizens to join any military group (state or private) without explicit approval of the President. Even now, when we are more pro western, out of 22 people asking for permit to joining UA army, only 7 were granted with this permit.

I have found a pretty plausible report, why they are still staying in the western outskirts of Soledar, despite it being completely destroyed. The plausibility of this video is backed by a video posted by the guy from BBC/Pravda article (Magyar). I do not know if I can post it here, but the mentioned second video can be found on Special Kherson Cat. Posted yesterday at 10.28PM CET. Look for snow, railroads, house with green roof and 25 unlucky winners of daily drawing in Lada lottery. Coordinates 48°41'19.3"N 38°03'13.0"E. The video by Magyar is very fresh, probably even from yesterday, as the RuAF are walking from the northwest part of Soledar to the South, in the western parts of the village.

As far as I understood from all the reporting from investigative journalist and military experts which seem trustworthy enough to believe them, that they do not spew propaganda by one or other side, Russia pretty much lost the most elite units around Hostomel and in Kyiv, as their primary goal was to assassinate Zelenskiy and other heads of the state, which they thankfully failed to achieve. Else it would really be short operation... During that period of time, the casualties were highest on Russian and on Ukrainian side as well. Until Bakhmut started to be a thing

Even the worst team, if allowed to bring 100 players, has a chance to play with Real Madrid, without throwing a towel in half-time Anyway, for UA it is logical to try to grind down the RU, as attackers always have much much bigger casualties, and Russians do not care about theirs. I think this meme pretty much sums up, what is going on around Bakhmut and Soledar right now...

Today, probably to everyone's surprise Russian MoD denied Wagners claim, that Soledar has fallen... This says much more about the status of internal Kremlin "warfare", than about the status of Soledar warfare Also, there is one news, which I an little bit confused. Gerasimov has been announced as a new High Commandant of the SMO, and Surovikin has been appointed as his deputy. From what I have read, I do not understand, if it is some completely new position for Gerasimov's collection, or Surovikin was just demoted. I think it is the second option, as he was praised a lot by Wagnerites, and the timing of the announcement with the Soledar denial makes it suspicious. But as I said, I am not sure. Has anyone noticed this news as well?

Situation in Soledar is indeed very complicated. Fall of the city is very possible. UA is not willing to give it up without causing massive casualties to Russia. This will have a lot of "pictures": "Official statement of the Wagners": The above picture/statement has been disputed by a lot of different sources (few of them propagandey): This one looks more like legit one. But as the guy says, the tunnels are 200km long. Here is more or less propagandey look at the situation from UA side: And a statement from 21:00 local time (10.1.2023) by a warreporter Yuri Butusov which is on site. I consider his reporting pretty objective with lack of propaganda, as he is not shy to criticize UA bull****, if needed.

This was posted yesterday by Yuri Butusov war journalist directly from Soledar. I have absolutely no clue, how realistic is what he posted, as most of the people who I follow suggest two things. Either UA is going to retreat, to minimize casualties, or that there is psyops war going on about Soledar, and everyone lies, on what is really going on there. WarMonitor said few hours ago, there is again informational embargo from UA side on the situation there. Oh and Shoigu wants to introduce AI to the battlefield. Man wonders, what can go wrong with the current Russian track-record https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2023/01/10/7384232/

1st goal of 2023 has been finished January 9, 00:15 – After 4 more hours on Easy difficulty, I have finally acquired the last PS4 trophy in Final Fantasy XV – Episode Ardyn DLC. The biggest challenge was to get 350+ combo on a guardian. 30 minutes of failed attempts and reloads, until I was able to get 423 Hits on him. After that, it was just a slow-paced grind to demonify more than 100 enemies, conquer 7 city sectors, spent less than 50 minutes in battles, in which I had to receive less than 15k damage, including final bossfights. After the last one, I was surprised, that I have achieved A+ in all of the required categories for this trophy with total of more than 1.7 million points. All that is needed to 100% this DLC is final battle challenge, which unlike in previous DLCs, does not award the trophy for a victory.

But they have very solid offering of Adventure Paths. And yes, you are correct, they are slow, but this might be maybe due to their fear what would happen with OGL. And looks like, they might have been correct, as Hasbro decided to revamp it, due to their opinion that D&D is undermonetized -

Or they could ask Paizo. -
I see. Blame my english, for missing your point IMHO, based on what I have read from some Russian sources, army and economy, there is a big chance, his death could stop the war. But even in these theoretical circumstances, The question, if this would change things for better, especially in the longterm, is valid, and impossible to answer.

Story about how daily "life" looks like in Bakhmut from the Ukrainian soldiers perspective. It looks like that the battle for Bakhmut is culminating, both sides are running out of artillery ammo, although Russian keeps sending waves upon waves upon waves of cannon fodder towards the city, which means, that UA side suffers high casualty rate as well. Despite of this, the situation is currently more in favour of Ukraine again, as in mid-December, some time around Zelenskiy's visit to the frontline, the Bakhmut was almost lost, as Russians have almost taken under control the most crucial access road to the city. Thankfully, UA managed to execute successful counterattack, which cleared the area of the Russian presence. https://kyivindependent.com/national/as-battle-of-bakhmut-nears-culmination-ukraines-artillery-gasps-for-more-ammo

There is one alternative, which would cost only one lost live. But for that, there would need to be found someone, who has at least half as big balls as Iranian women have and further follow up of Makiivka incident.
