  1. Finished goal Nr. 24. \o/ My thumbs are still in pain, but last time, when I was so happy and satisfied with myself, that I finished some nice challenge was, when I defeated Ancient Dragon in Dark Souls 2 Yesterday at 10PM I have finally unlocked all trophies in Final Fantasy XV – Episode Gladiolus DLC on my PS4. The last two challenges were painfully hard for me, but also a lot of fun and a little bit of rage. Especially the Final Trial against Cor . Both challenges were all about tactics, a lot of patience and good reflexes. Of course, the last one is something, which I lack , so I spent on each challenge approximately 2 hours to learn how to execute them good enough to fulfill all the prerequisites for the trophies.
  2. After a day of break I have finished Final Fantasy XV – Episode Gladiolus DLC on PS4. It did not take so long compared to Comrades. Only 2 and half hours on Normal difficulty with few retries, because I was afraid to use up Phoenix Down, as I wanted to save all of them for the final fight. In the end it was not needed at all, even though Gilgamesh did made me sweat few times . In the end, I had much more fun with combat, than in the main game or Comrades.
  3. Just never, ever, ever, ever make your playstyle based on Miracle Build, saves you a lot of new gray hairs
  4. A side effect of the war, no one speaks about. Minimum of 50k Dolphins has died in the Black Sea during the war so far.
  5. About UA hitting the Russia and ATACMS. Here is a little bit different theory, why they are not supplied. TL; DW, 1 ATACMS costs as 10 smaller MLRS missiles, and is much larger. There is a possibility, that Russia is able to intercept such huge rockets with their S300/400, which on another hand are unable to hit small diameter MLRS missiles. So “not escalating” rhetorics is just an excuse and a scapegoat to look reasonable in public and Russian eyes. In other words, they are getting literally much more bang for the same money with the sorter distance missiles provided, than they could ever achieve with ATACMS. We’ll see how the new Boeing/Saab gliders will fare soon. Also, Few months ago, there was some lady close to the White House speaking, that ATACMS could not be delivered before all technical ”shortcommings” are solved. Interview with her was even linked few dozens of pages ago in one of the previous threads. Can’t find it now, but maybe someone else remembers the article
  6. Some RPGs still looke awesome. Lands of Lore 1 is still georgeous in this day and age, but 2 and three looks like manmade product after eating yoghurt with sausage, melon juice, mustard and canned fish...
  7. Three more additions to my Finished Stuff in 2022 list from yesterday. – After little bit more than 40 hours of playing and few retries, I was able to beat Ifrit, the final boss of the 1.2 release of Final Fantasy XV – Comrades DLC on PS4, and finish the whole DLC storyline. – An hour after beating Ifrit, I have amassed an output of 999,999kW, required for the final Let There Be Light trophy of the initial release of Final Fantasy XV – Comrades DLC on PS4. – And the third one of the day was the final trophy of the free 1.2 update to Final Fantasy XV – Comrades DLC on PS4. It was needed to complete the Future: Comrade mission with all four protagonists of the main game. The mission was probably planned to be a challenge, but it was pretty failed one. Mainly due to sucky AI companions and the Bahamut King practically oneshotting everyone all the time. The fight, especially with Noctis, looked like this: 3 hits on boss, getting oneshoted, wait on AI to run to you and revive you, hoping to be lucky, that the boss does not oneshot you right away, repeat until the boss died. After enduring this for one and half hour, I had finally acquired the Beacons of Hope trophy, and I can finally put this DLC on the shelf and never return back.
  8. I’ve seen them already in february. They were used especially for depicting helicopter combat at that time.
  9. Arestovych podcast from day 280. he is speaking also about unofficial casualties. He agrees with US number of 100k, but he says, it is KIA+WIA soldiers. Ukraine suffers a lot of injuries, where the soldiers are unable come back to front for longer than 1 day. From all the WIA more than 70k went back front after recovery.
  10. 5 more objects of critical infrastructure caught fire today (30.11.) in Russia, three at the borders, and two deep in Russia. Ukraine did not comment on being accused that they’ve done it. edit: also one shopping mall in Krasnoiarsk with extremely large capital Z on caught fire, too.
  11. The thing is, that according to some leaked materials, it looks like Hungary has been vetoing some stuff about Ukraine since 2007. And only now the rest of NATO start to think, how to overcome that veto.
  12. For him, even the communists were nazis
  13. Speaking of targets of RU missiles, here is a pretty nice summary, what has been hit in last 9 months. In other news, we will probably never know, what is going on inside Russia politics, but there is something definitely brewing, and someone is starting to be afraid of Prigozhin’s rising influence. The follow up in the tweet thread explains, what such accusation means in Russia…
  14. Interesting story. According to Russian investigation, A man responsible for mobilization commits suicide at his supervisor office shooting himself with 4 different weapons not aiming at vital parts of his body. And his wife writes to Putin, that he should investigate his dead, as he surely wanted to show the shortcommings of mobilization by performing self-execution… Not a single thought had been made, that this maybe could have been something different, than a successful suicide attempt https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/28/7378346/
  15. A little bit more detail on what the hell that new Boeing/Saab gadget is.
  16. Also, if I may recommend you one more game to your wishlist, you should probably check Operencia: Stolen Sun as well. I think this might be up to your alley as well. I would say, that this might be something in between Grimrock and IwD.
  17. @xzar_monty another spontaneous combustion in Siberia https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/11/27/7378172/
  18. Put me in the same basket with LoG2 also left the game soon after hour or two, and trying to get back to it. In the meanwhile, I have finished Starcrawlers and Vaporum, and enjoyed them a lot. On the other hand despite purchasing Vaporum: Lockdown and Operencia, I have not even started to play the yet. I blame to big backlog of mine, and because of that, I probably need more variation of gameplay Back to topic: I have finally the option to catch and train Chocobos in Comrades FFXV. It is still grindy, but it gave the DLC a little bit of variation in a positive way. So now I am again in a stage, when the DLC feels more fun and less chore, despite a considerate amount of grinding required
  19. It was a genuine question of Hawke64, who is searching for similar experience like he had with IwD.
  20. LoG 1/2 definitely not, they are just what they are, fun dungeon crawler with simple story. No interactive story at all in LoG 1. LoG 2 is still on my backlog, so I cannot comment on that yet, but probably closer to LoG1 than to IwD. Lionheart is a mixed bag. It is IMHO pretty close to IwD and BG, but unfortunately, after leaving New Barcelona, you had just left the best, what the game has to offer And LoX, hmm I had my share of fun, despite not being able to finish it yet. It is little bit simpler story than IwD, and if I remember correctly, it has interactive elements in it, which are at least on par with it. And If I can give you an advice, if you give it a chance, unless you are very experienced person with TB combat, and you know exactly what you are doing during level ups, play this game on Easy difficulty. I started it on normal, and the game beat the **** out of me on numerous occasions. Even if you want to continue in the main quest, you have to go through every quest and encounter, which is available to you on the map. and to stay on thread topic, I have started to encounter first content from free DLC update in the Final Fantasy XV paid DLC Comrades Namely my first Chocobo According to FAQs, Bahamut was the the final boss of the 1.0 version of DLC, so it looks like, I am still somewhere in the middle of the simple story of the whole DLC. I am missing only one trophy from the original DLC, but there are still three new trophies from the free DLC DLC
  21. Storyline of Final Fantasy XV – Comrades DLC on my PS4 is behind me. After more than 18 hours of grinding, I have defeated Bahamut. I had a decent amount of fun, but Square Enix pretty much killed it with endless grinding. Especially if you want decent weapons. Which is shame, because I liked the combat system more than in the base game.
  22. Seriously, the hypocrisy is shooting over the roof in here. So you are just admitted, that you are ignoring international laws, whenever it suits your narrative, because you “feel” that something might theoretically happen. So it is OK for armenian people have Artsakh, because you “feel” that genocide might happen, but it is not OK for albanian people to have Kosovo, despite real genocide happening there And you are frowning over other people, that they are cheering to the hypocrisy of the West… The pot calling a kettle black… The dissolution of USSR and creating new republics was same mess as dissolution of African colonies or British Raj. International law is here to uphold the status quo, until the feuding sides find a new solution for their issues, either through courts or diplomacy. Armenia attacked Azerbaijan in 1991, and is still occupying the part of the neighboring country, and until a court or diplomacy says something different, the international law says that Artsakh is part of Azerbaijan, as much as it says that Catalunya is part of Spain or Tigray is part of Ethiopia… We can dispute the ways how all the countries are handling the current situation, but that does not change the basic fact, that there still was no ruling nor outcome of the negotiations, which would alter the current state, and that has to be respected. Ignoring international laws is just bringing more and more wars and killings on the table, no matter who the culprit is… The funny thing in this is, that the prime cause of all this mess is Soviet Union/Russia, which they attacked these countries 100 years ago and assimilated them, and did with them whatever it wanted including deportations and genocide, but you still find a way how to blame the West for it Back to referendum in Crimea. You are completely false about what you claim. Crimea never voted in any referendom to leave Ukraine. They voted to become new Autonomous Soviet Socialistic Republic. Which was even approved by Kyiv, and become Crimean ASSR of Ukrainian SSR . Before the collapse of Soviet Union, there was another referendum in whole Ukraine, to become independent from Soviet Union, and even people of Crimea voted in favour of leaving USSR. So the whole Ukraine SSR, including Crimea left Soviet Union. Ukraine SSR became Republic of Ukraine, and Crimea ASSR, became autonomous Republic of Crimea within Ukraine in 1992. In 1994 there was another referendum in Crimea, and even in this referendum, there was no question about leaving Ukraine. There were questions about deeper autonomy within Republic of Ukraine… You can try to spin it how much you want, but it does not change the fact, the Crimea never voted for leaving Ukraine, until sham referendum in 2014…
  23. Also funny, that you are completely forgetting, that at the time of the mentioned referendum, Crimea was still part of USSR, so if they were suppressed at rifle point, the blame lies in Moscow and not in Kyiv. and as much as I am an Armenian supporter, as they have been shafted for centuries by everyone around, and I would love to blame Turkiye for all the **** happening in the region as well, be so kind and answer me, which country is de iure according to all international law, the internationally recognized owner of the territory of Nagorno Karabakh, and which country is currently occupying the above mentioned territory? Maybe after you answering this to yourself, you will see the cognitive dissonance you were talking about, in yourself as well. NATO/EU bad cos they shafted Serbia with them supporting Kosovo terrorist on the territory of Serbia. NATO/EU bad, cos they turned blind eye when Azeris were attacking occupying forces of Armenia on the territory of Azerbaijan … you are not even trying to pretend any consistency in blaming the “hypocrisy” of the west *sighs* If you really wanted to blame west for being the same **** as Erdogan, you should at least pick the correct fight and point on all the collective shafting done by the west and Turkiye to Kurds… Disclaimer: I do not condone to any of the above mentioned actions, and my country is not recognizing neither Kosovo nor Artsakh nor Kurdistan.
  24. Depends on what type of train though. According to some Russian sources, the full recovery of train movement over Kerch Bridge as before the explosion (especialy for heavy cargo trains) might be availalabe somewhere at the end of the next year
  25. Looks like again is someone forgetting how the current situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia started. Both sides perpetrated attrocities. The situation is very similar to what happened in Ukraine. With the biggest difference, that the referendum at that time was probably more valid, than anything Russia has ever done. Erdogan is ****, but putting all the blame on current situation in the area on his support to Azerbaijan is just riduculous… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Nagorno-Karabakh_War
