According to Denis Davydov, Ukrainian pilot youtuber, the crashes of Russian planes are much higher, compared to typical non-war days and compared to current Ukrainian non-combat crashes. But the exact numbers are impossible to get. And yes, his views might be not objective on it. Although it seems to me that his statements might be plausible…

Yes, you are correct, it does not make sense. And yes, you are correct, we are talking about Russia, and they shown a lot of time already, that they do not give a single **** about their supporters, and tend to do stuff, which does not make any sense on daily basis. just look at 770million worth of missiles launched few days ago… wasting so much of limited stock on civilian objects, instead of hitting as much as possible military objects, to stop UA momentum, is utter tactical nonsense. Not only it made Ukrainians more dedicated to fight against Russia, but it also accelerated some stuff in EU, with which some politicians were not very keen to do before this barrage… It was just another of the stupid political goals of Russia, as holding Kherson and besiege Bakhmut at all costs…

@Darkpriest looks like I was correct about Meloni. The new Italian government is shaking even before it has been established. Berlusconi did an oopsie with couple of Vodka bottles, and Meloni as a reaction, has firmly shown him, where his place is. And hers. She is willing to drop her win in the election, if she will not be able to build a pro EU government. No place for Russian lapdogs there.

The guys from Codex, and if judged by their incompetence so far, Russian officers as well, do not have a clue, that would be very bad idea, as right bank of Dnepr, especially Kherson city, are on much higher altitude than the left bank. Which would mean, that blowing up that dam, would wreak much much more havoc to the areas, which will be still under the Russian occupation, after they flee perform goodwill gesture from western Kherson Oblast

I’ve read today few “analysts” predicting, that Surovikin was appointed as a General, so all of the blame for the retreat from Kherson, would be on his shoulders. Which is In line with many “coincidences, that all of the generals in Russia since Yeltsin, who started to became popular had either an “accident”, or have been discredited as a part of anti-coup prevention purge. We probably know in few weeks, if there is some merit to their words, or someone is just talking out of his ass again

I do not remember the names, but I remember their voices. So I always find it strange, if the same voice actor is voicing completely different character in completely different game This is for me prevalent especially in Japanese games -
Estonia has yesterday recognised Russia as State Sponsor of Terrorism. In May Lithuania recognised it as a first country. And in August Latvia as a second. And allegedly the resolution about Russia as State sponsor of Terrorism is scheduled for a vote in EU parliament in November as well. Allegedly, due to the fact, that I was able to find only Ukrainian and Azerbaijani media reporting on it yet https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/10/17/7372356/

Reading it now again, after you mention it, it really seems that way. my proper wording should have been “there is allegedly one case” hehe anyways, as much as it seems foolish, they downed at least one. And there is definitely one more case from few days/week ago, where they have been able to shoot down another shaheed. (Link to this one case is already lost in time and space). Vatniks can have fun as much as they want, these guys even with such an improvised action shot one of them down, and save some lives. Few streets away in Kyiv, one shaheed killed a pair with unborn baby…

I did not said, I believe it, just there are reports of it, including video. I didn’t care to click on it, considered it as a clickbait . But drones are much much smaller, than planes, and drones have been before taken down with shotguns, handguns stones and other stuff all around the world. If you see such a drone going your way, and there is a risk of civilian casualties, you will do everything possible to stop it. Especially if you are policeman or soldier and have a weapon at hand…
