Got gifted Soulcalibur 5 from my friends. I have not played any beat em up in ages, so I am trying to get some trophies, I really do not know, whether they gave me the game because they love me, or because they hate me. *shrugs*

As someone that has kept a close eye on SC, I would recommend you not get your hopes up. They haven't hit a deadline, yet. I expect mid-next year, myself. I know, I know. I am just trying being positive. Lot of positive energy channeling makes dreams come true. AMIRITE?

Now that I am home from few business trip I started to look more for Squadron 42 info, and I found that there is little bit confusion about Squadron 42 release date. Some people report about end of 2016 some mid-late 2017. I am getting into crazy mode reading more info about it and the possibility of having it so soon... well, some people do not care about graphics and find the old JRPG mechanics more entertaining than mindless walking around "open world" games. *shrugs*

Well most of the budget on these 3 games was spent on marketing anyway. I will always prefer small detailed universe, which I can explore whole, like Privateer 2 had, compared to billions of proceduraly generated worlds.

Well always online is needed for muliplayer, for single player, it is retarded. If they can't split SP from MP part of the game without breaking it, they should relearn coding ;-)

Not gonna happen, it would be to much risk, and it would make the game little bit less shallow. And that's not desired for streamlined AAA experience.

There are tons of Playstation or Nintendo only exclusives. Most of them are just out of your radar, because of gaming preferences, which is alright of course. On PS3 out of my 41 games, which I own, are 32 games Playstation exclusives. On PS4, out of 8 my games are 5 Playstation exclusives.

The main/only reason for this piece of HW is Playstation VR. It works on current PS4, but it's performance is underwhelming.

Well I am prefering Indie gaming last few years, and I am finding older games which I have never played before and enjoying them much more than current AAA stuff. So I think I will not need to change my hobby anytime soon. There are really so mamy games released nowadays, that man can really have whatever he wants. Well gor me it's not an big issue, some games i loved used the reuse of assets and maps for their sequels. If it does not feel out of place, it can help with releaae of sequel in a timely manner.

Well, AFAIK you can use same graphical assets in different engines, if you use 3rd party 3D editor and import it to the engine later.

Jim Sterling have managed to get in touch with some insider from Eidos Montreal development team, and got pretty interesting information about the development of the game in the final phase + some more other juicy bits. (Like development cost of 70 millions). This Jimquisition is worthy of watching, even if you do not like the guy.
