  1. I had so far only one co-op encounter in Dark Souls, when I was to frustrated of my unability to down Smough/Ornstein duo. I somehow prefer soloing my games, because I have my own pace due to work. Sometimes I can play 5-6 hours in a day, sometimes I can't play for a week. But I would not mind to try out the co-op sometimes.
  2. Yes, we could :D But it takes a lot of time for noob like me to get through the game :D So we would need to play it at approximate same pace and Soul Level
  3. Well, the European Prepare To Die Edition, which I have is not compatible with the save of Normal UK edition, which I have started years ago, and did not wanted to throw away my first ever character. So I have decided to finish game first with him, and go for second playthrough with new character in Prepare To Die Edition and go for all the content with my second character. With maps and stuff to get every single item available in-game. And later I’ll try to go for Platinum. I still have not found Ring of Fog though :-/
  4. And Gravelord Nito defeated as well. Tbh as soon as you kill his adds, which are immortal unless you , what I completely forgot yesterday, he is piss easy. Needed only 3 tries to learn his moves and kick his ass. Only three more areas to go and two bosses, and I can go for final boss (no DLC run atm).
  5. Demon Centipede and Bed of Chaos down as well. Now I am getting raped by Gravelord Nito :/ I am stuck and I simply do not know how to survive this fight
  6. Just killed Demon Firesage in Dark Souls. He kicked my ass, because I was stubborn and wanted to dodge all the time. After I've started to use shield, he died in less than a minute O.o
  7. I believe GOG sooner or later brings more Bethesda games to their "shop".
  8. More Dark Souls again. I was able to defeat Sif and Seath today. The fight with Sif is pretty sad encounter And Seath, I think it is very easy fight, if you have a lot of patience, which I sometimes lack. And my impatience killed me 5 times. Moving forward to some new area. Either Painted World or Demon Ruins... Which I thinks are boring, so I am not very eager to go there...
  9. Yakuza Kiwami 2, 3, 4 and 5 physical release for PS4. Tales of Vesperia this winter. And so far unnanounced next game in Tales of Series (comming soon). That's all I need for now.
  10. Amy Hennig, who was hired to make an EA Star Wars game, has left EA. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/06/amy-hennig-who-was-hired-to-make-an-ea-star-wars-game-has-left-ea/
  11. Is this some kind of joke? O.o
  12. I do that, but I must have slipped up a few times. Several times I have seen the installer download and update GoG Galaxy. I've started to wonder if any free title from them comes with a mandatory Galaxy installer. Nope all games are possible to get without Galaxy Installer. The GOG Downloader still works, and they are still offering links for it. If you use this app, it will always download you the non-galaxy installer. link: https://www.gog.com/downloader In your library, each game has under More shown also GOG Downloader links.
  13. Gog Galaxy does the same kind of auto-updating —AFAIK. (I don't use it myself, and keep finding the thing installed by default more, and more often these days). It's the first thing I uninstall after installing a GoG title. But it is for providing some of the the social and auto-update features that Steam provides; from what I've read. in your GOG library, you can change to "Non-Galaxy Installers" for each game (if it has Galaxy bundled with it by default). I always download offline non-galaxy installers for my backups, and install my games from them, even though I use Galaxy a lot. and @ sonic: The only one who is complaining about GOG catalogue on this forums is you GOG curates it's games, and you can almost never buy a game, which does not run on your Windows/Mac/Linux PC. If you find non-working game, their programmers fix it in few days or weeks. And it has no Direct/Greenlight garbage, which is win for GOG by default, no question asked
  14. Infinite corridor, and he shoots two kind of soul spells and a bow. Harder to get to him, than the fight tbh. I would not know, where he is hidden, if I did not see accidentally spoiler video. I am trying to do mostly blind playthrough, but sometimes, I just have to peek inside guides for some hints.
  15. So in other words Second Death?
  16. And Dark Sun Gwyndolin downed!
  17. LR needs a little bit more of time as well. There is some grinding if you want to do all sidequests. Anyway. Being today sick, I spent more time on Dark Souls. I was lucky, and found a guy who is helping with Smough and Ornstein fight, so I summoned him. This made the fight piss easy to single player attempt O.o But I was to greedy with the Ornstein having like 200 HP left so I run for him and he jumped and made his jumping super move and hit me with all the electricity released. He killed me, but I was lucky again, that the guy who was helping me had landed the killing blow, before he was unsummoned, and it counted as a kill for me as well. I have looted Smough’s Soul and med three levels after the fight. I have returned to Firelink Shrine and revived Keeper of the Bonfire with his soul, which I got two days ago when invading Lautrac’s domain. Later I went for The Catacombs, because I was lucky with Silver Knight Spear drop, and killed Pinwheel on first try.
  18. Keep in mind, it’s not JRPG, but hack’n’slash
  19. It’s all about hands. For me the most comfortable and precise control is complete opposite of yours. I just do not like the design of xbox, where you have one cross and one analog stick on the same distance from palm. Two analogue sticks at same distance means for me much better precision and handling. So, Melusina, the conclusion by me is: If you have friends with xbox and PS consoles or controlers, visit them, play for few hours some game with heavy input action needed. I would probably recommend some Soul game or fighting game, even if you never play them , and you’ll see which one feels more comfortable in your hands. Bad controller can cause even injuries after long hours of playing.
  20. @Labadal regarding Cosmic Star Heroine. I was thinking about that game in winter sale, but did not purchased it in the end. Can you give some spoilerfree review or impressions, after you finish the game? Edit: *sighs* whenever I decide to not use quote function, my question almost always ends up as a first on next page. Confusion takes over...
  21. I liked FFXIII, and loathed FFXIII:LR. XIII-2 was the best of trilogy.
  22. Looks like I am the only one who prefers PS contrlers over anything else. I’ve purchased two PS3 controllers in 2010 and they work until this day. And both had very heavy use during all these years. And still use them.
  23. Speaking of DRM, another game with call home DRM became unplayable due to company closing down. http://www.siliconera.com/2018/06/25/metal-gear-rising-revengeance-now-unplayable-on-macs/
  24. It’s pretty funny game, if you do not mind anime. I have all 4 games for Playstation platforms, I have enjoyed it so much, that I have platinued two first games. But never played on PC, so I do not know how it plays on k+m combo.
