Are you in Act 3 by any chance? There's some sort of bug where she's not showing up once the final RDC quest has started (ie getting the invitation to talk to the RDC about their final quest), but she'll show up when it is finished, either by completing it, or failing it by some means (including fishing another faction quest). Near as I can tell, it's an error in the code where she's getting removed early before the assassination event takes place. I am! Thanks.

In BG2 you NEED to counter wizards and ideally have a wizard. In PoE you don't even need a wizard and any class can counter them. I did't even have a wizard in my party for all the Beast of Winter and stopped using one once I got a better handle of classes and combat. Now I use all martial classes and a priest/druid. PoE2 if anything focuses on powerful martial multis with Fighters, Rogues, and Monks. Wizards are still near the top but suffer from casting recovery and early squishiness but still multi great as well.

As a Watcher you know you scare the bajesus out of people. They've told you this. You've seen terrible things. Now think of the Watcher, one of the most esteemed characters in Eora, saying "The Gods aren't real." These God-fearing simple minded folk would not even grasp the thought. But alas there are also devote Lords and Royalty. They would probably turn on the Watcher. Oh there is also Waidwen...how do you explain away a whole war?

You don't need to be a pirate. I'll give you an example. You are a Nature Godlike Druid. You were asked to explore the lands outside of your tribe in the beginning PoE1. Queue PoE2. You gain a ship and have no idea what to do. Through the course of the game you learn to live like a nomad, helping those in need, and discovering far off lands, accomplishing the goals of your initial journey. RP completely off the top of my head. Pt is - you are required to captain a ship...you aren't required to act like a pirate.

Only issue with Bloody Links is that I like the DoC Breastplate for removing the Confusion from Frenzy. The new mace seems pretty cool though!Yeah good pt. Or you could use Modwyr since it gives immunity. Lots of options I had trouble picking too haha. Yeah, especially since you can use any weapon you want - you just won't have the modal ability. I like the idea of Modwyr, my only issue with using her is that swords just don't seem very pirate-y. They don't seem at all Marauder-y to me. When I think of a Marauder I think of a vicious Raider with bludgeoning weapons or axes.

For the Maurauder I like Bardatto's Luxury paired with Bloody Links armor for Bloodied perks. I think the new Ice Mace goes well too. There are also some great fire weapons like Sungrazer and Magran's Favor. I don't like the look of the spear mentioned above + another weapon, but it does fit well with a high Survival Maurader. Overall the DLC made my Maurader significantly stronger.
