  1. Problem was that I had uninstalled nearly everything. I only had two other games on there, something else is taking too much space on the drive. I asked my brother, and he said it was some software or drivers that would allow us to use some other mega drive that had uber space, but since he wouldn't tell me where it was I just uninstalled his game from the machine. This game has a much higher fun factor on PC for some reason. I think that may have been why I was so bored aside from the disgusting plot holes. Anyway, w00t.
  2. Oh god. I was ready to reference it any everything and I can't find it anymore... must have been a mixup. Either way I've got like 2.6 gigs free and it wants.... 3.8.
  3. I finally got this game for the PC. The box said it needed like 1 gig to run or something. When I put it in my computer it says I need almost 4 gigs of free space! What the h***?! Somebody help me out here.... I don't remember having that problem with Kotor, and I can't think of what else to delete on this computer that I don't use.
  4. Red just screams out power to me. When you see the stills of these games at least it looks really intimidating while the blue just looks cool to me. Not sure... Blue seems to be more in tune with combat or acrobatics. This one is for the warriors mostly I suppose. Green is wisdom. Yellow is just random. I could say people like Sentinels... but you see a lot of people with yellow in Star Wars.. and there is no way that Bastila was a brain by any stretch. Purple is a mix of light and dark I guess. To me it seemed to stand out more, and therefore was a symbol of a more refined skill. Black um.. that isn't really possible. If you were bending light it would more likely be a "force Saber" which would be a hella cool concept, but I doubt it will be implemented. If you shine light through a black, transparent lens you get a dark purplish color if I'm not mistaken. The best they could do is probably use a REALLY dark shade of purple, and make a blackish saber. Would actually probably look cooler than the black saber you'd dream of. If this was out and about, it should be exclusive to one character or maybe two tops (the baddy and you of course) How about the controversial pink saber? It could be tactical. You stand there giggling like a moron at your opponent while they cut you in half. Symbolized the power of fluff.
  5. Er... they were both fearsome and brutal. That description was given to their conquest. Malak was just more ambitious and did what was needed to seize the mantle. That hardly makes Revan pitiful. Er... I voted Revan because there aren't that many great options. I picked it right before I saw Kavar as an option. Kavar was definitely a great Jedi Master. His only inconsistancy was when he suddenly turned on you on Dantooine for no apparent reason. He was the voice of reason in the group. As far as the dark side goes Kreia is the master. She would even have Palpy running for mercy. She played the feild and defeated a student far more powerful in terms of the force than she with one simple lie. In order to complete your goals you had to be part of her game, had to twist around just as she wanted. You were played perfectly, and even if you had known, you'd still have to be part of the game. Would you really leave Nihilus weakened just because you knew you were being used? Hardly. Your goals and her revenge were perfect. Kreia FTW! Exile is okay too. I'm not too fond of the character concept anymore as it seems like the power there is too condition based. It also seemed inconsistant that in the end you wound was "healed" while it was the thing that made you unique. If Exile was more of a Nihilus mirror I would have voted her in, but alas...
  6. I don't know about healing, but I know that the Exile did feel some relief on the surface of the planet because they were quite similar. The planet was completely wasted, wiped out. However the section that they had was new, restored, revived. This was much like the Exile in the way that the Exile was slowly recovering, just like this planet now was.
  7. Revan is not all powerful. Even one on one a lesser opponent could win. This is true with many forms of combat from swords to planes. Obi-Wan wasn't as fast as Anakin, but he won because he was smarter. Figthing Revan one on one would be fine. However I'd only like that option if the new character had some good backstory or reason for being strong.
  8. Meh. The Kotor tracks aren't really what I'd call breathtaking. There were some cool ones in Kotor 2, but for the most part I thought they were just OK.
  9. I am liek totally Ravan and I pwn you all becuz i'm revan
  10. I remember HK telling you of how Revan and Malak were still friends after the fall began. After they had embraced the Darkside Revan still laughed as HK annoying the crap out of Malak. Then I think he said soon after they both just became different people. IMO Revan and the Exile should both go dark. Revan has no face, all you ever see of Revan is the mask. That should be how it happens, and at some point you have to fight Revan. I would hate to see Revan go, but having Revan go on just wouldn't work for me. And as far as the Exile goes, that great power that holds the death of the force is likely to be tapped. That's the type I see the Exile as. One that only somebody like him/her can defeat, somebody that does not use the force. Of course the Exile would probably be working to destroy the True Sith, but a true Jedi would see the conflictions and have to remove the Exile. So obviously in my idea there should be a new character. However I thought the beginnings have been quite bland so far. Sure the Exile's was an improvement, but still not good enough. I want to see something different. Your character should be with a group of discreet Jedi hunters. SOMETHING interesting.
  11. As a playable character G0-T0 was terrible sure, but he had value in the game. If he wasn't in place then everything in Nar Shadaa would be terribly different. That's why I didn't vote for the useless flying garbage. I voted for the Handmaiden. Of all the people though she adds to the game as an NPC I don't feel her at all. She seems like another passenger. All the rest feel needed.
  12. I thought Revan was a true Sith actually..... it would be possible since the Jedi are just blind old swordsman after Exar Kun's war. Well anyone that thought that Revan had good intentions in it was right, but that makes it no justification. The worst things imaginable have been done with the best of intentions. I think that Revan saw that the Republic was no system to be fighting with. To work in politics and do all of that nonsense to get a leader would have been pointless. The system was hopelessly corrupt anyway. Also, the war Revan was fighting was a coverup for the real war. How could so many Jedi fall so easily? Because they were the focus of the war. Revan may have succumbed to the power of the Dark Side, and was twisted by it. However that did not changed the goal, it didn't even matter as far as the goal went. In the war Revan needed a strong system with him as a leader and general, and he needed the assasins. He just needed the army and the means to supply it. On the other hand though, even if Revan stayed true to the goal and saved the galaxy from the Sith through evil means even with the best of intentions. He still did fall to the Dark Side, and the galaxy would probably not be given back to the people. Corrupt leader! Ack.
  13. r3v4n OH EM GEE!!! Even if I like Revan a lot, that gets old. However he/she still remains my favorite Sith Lord based on appearance and the notes on tactical genius. Another possible theory is that Revan is actually Malak. PLOT TWIST. That's why Revan is also dead.
  14. Ah, like all living beings then. Gotcha.
  15. Vandar isn't Yoda. And even still Revan could probably kick his ass. If not then Exile could, since siphoning him or just being in the presence of a force wound would make Yoda an easy opponent. And to be honest, Vandar was simple. I lied right to his face. He didn't have enough foresight to see breakfast, let alone the next move to parry from an opponent. Also just having your main character(s) killed off would be disappointing beyond belief.
  16. Ah, but the Exile is not feeling the Force solely through Kreia but through Atton, Mira, Bao, Mical/Handmaiden, Visas and (like I said before) life in general, too. Remember Atton was there from the beginning as well. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But you go on without them remember? And no mentioning the extra female ending. Adding that would have been stupid since the Exile was to be alone, just like Revan. If they did use that though I'm sure your next siphon would be on Revan.
  17. Through her? Well that to me seems like we have a reason to be lvl 1 again in the next game.....
  18. Palpatine had to wait 20 years because he not only had to wait for Anakin to come of age, but he was in a corrupt Republic entangled in politics. The KotOR setting is one of apparent martial law or it's just because the outer rim isn't so entangled in the matters of the united Republic, and only of their individual planets. And with that the Jedi and Sith are very much independant and easy, while in Palp's era everything is controlled by the senate. Including the Jedi. I think it was pretty well said in KotOR 2. You move from the past, to the present, and then to the future in the temple. The past was Malak and the Mandalorians, the present/near future was Kreia, and that would mean the future probably holds a fight with Revan... If you're the exile that is.
  19. I thought Visas was a good option. It shouldn't have only been a darkside option for her to stab herself, I thought it would have made a nice tragic end for one of them since a lot of the NPCs were repetitive and boring.
  20. Well if they HAD to make you pick one or the other then it could be based on the beginning of the game. Make it more open ended. You make your character, then start somewhere. From there it has to be explained why you are a complete n00b again. You start some intro cutscene where you lose your lightsaber and learn why you can't use force powers. Some Sith suppression technique from the planets around or whatever. Then based on your choices or whatever you subtly choose whether you are Revan or the Exile, and the other will appear in some form during the game. Or something. Just as long as it's done right.
  21. The Hutt planet Sleheyron was also planned. However most of the cut content was removed before there was even much put in, so a restoration project would instead be creation of a HUGE mod.
  22. Though I doubt it would be in the game. I'm sure (a DS Revan at least) would forsee the Exile's coming and simply lay low and recruit a few people to the cause. When the Exile came he/she would be exploited and the wound used as a lightning war tactic to completely destroy worlds. I think that you should choose what happens to them based on your choices as a whole new character. For Revan you hear constantly of the Dark Jedi that has risen with many defectors to his/her cause to challenge the Sith. And you also hear whispers of a deadly warrior that appears to be able to kill all challengers before they can even ignite their lightsabers. This not only conceals LS or DS intentions on both Revan and Exile, but it gives them a story that backs their past doings. Revan can be hooded and junk and Exile could just be randomly generated I guess. Then whatever goes from there goes from there.
  23. Late 50s? So he fought in the war against Exar Kun when he was just 10? He's probably 70. However the way he talks of some stories it seems like he's even older.
  24. Weren't they herded into some temple and bombed though? Even if not he lived by chance, there were powerful Sith there. So he gets lucky once and he's strong enough to take on somebody that is viewed as simple power? Doubt it. Revan didn't really bring back the Sith at all. Kun brought them back, and after they were defeated it not Revan then somebody else would have. There was a Sith academy on Malachor ffs. Somebody was bound to find that. Revan was powerful, but you never got to see any of that potential at all. They made Revan character defined as calculating and genius (Sentinal) powerful in the force (Consular) and an unbelievable duelist (Guardian) Guess why Revan got that description? I'd say the Exile is better even though I don't really like the Exile much, but Exile's potential goes to killing entire planets with little effort.
  25. Read the book. Yoda couldn't win because for 1000 years the Jedi, and even the greatest avatars of light and justice in the end were just playing errand boy on the petty disputes of senators. The Sith while still hiding had been preparing to destroy the Jedi for all of those years. Sidious had the edge of being able to outdo Yoda because Yoda hadn't spent all of that time to fight lightsaber combat like Sidious had. Yoda was far more powerful, but because of the secrecy and subtlty of the Sith, he just didn't have it. He couldn't have won. Therefore even though it didn't appear that he was losing, he realized that in the end he was fighting to a draw or a loss and simply left to find another way. Then he used the exact secrecy method the Sith had. Sidious won on tactical edge and preparation. The smart way.
