What are those Sith troopers about?
The Yeti of 66 replied to James Dunn's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Assasins don't look good with rifles. -
The Sith was ALWAYS a belief. It started with people who left the Jedi religion. They became Dark Jedi, and eventually took on the name Sith. They made it their own belief, not a species. The Austrailians are not their own species are they? No offense made by that comparison btw. The Sith CONSIDERED themselves a species, and Marka Ragnos wasn't "pure of blood" or something of that sort. Blood has nothing to do with the Sith though. Jedi are not a species, and they have existed far longer than the Sith have.

The True Sith is NOT a species. It wasn't in the past, it never will be. "The Sith is a belief" is what Kreia says. There isn't a way to take that out of context. Sorry, I have just seen this so often from you all to a point of being very very aggravated. Something that is open ground is that Kreia says that Sion and Nihilus were not Sith. I know she was refering to the bad guys in the outer regions, but she said nothing of Revan. Was he Sith?

They actually don't even exist. That's why there were no sparks or anything when they got hit. -

They are actually a rare breed of expendable assassins that only have one weakness.... the ebon hawk's lower turret. -
Jedi Sentinels Prestige Class

Depends on your stats. Are they flexible or focused into Str, Dex, Char, Wis? -
zayne guardian/marauder tutorial
The Yeti of 66 replied to darthzayne's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Nihilus hit me with an insanely high AC also. Actually either due to it being highest difficulty or the form I was using the guy was practically mopping the floor with me. However the only two that could do serious damage with the high was was Sion and Nihilus. Another thing to the poster, shields do not last forever. Another thing, you can play a non-rp build without using strength. I doubt you'll do as much killing if you can't make any saves to be honest. You've got big muscles and a high chance to hit, sure. However you will be hit CONSTANTLY and will be insanely vunerable to force powers. We're not saying to keep points into things other than strength so you can roleplay, we're saying it so you won't be so die hard in one spot to leave you vunerable to one specifc thing. Sorry to say, but that's the kind of build that a fighter will find hard to deal with, but one that a caster will laugh and ignore. -
Sith Assasin or Jedi watchman
The Yeti of 66 replied to sangero's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you don't want Stealth, then don't do Watchman/Assasin. You'll do better with Weapon Master/Marauder, as they are suited for combat specifically. -

Yeah. Probably in lower decks or something, so you couldn't see them. -
Genders.
The Yeti of 66 replied to OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I remember my best play was as female... I don't remember Sion loving me. He said all of the hate lines. Maybe it was a glitch? Either way it was pretty neutral. They just leaned towards female because the Atton story was the best of them all when you added cut content. If there was a love bit from Sion then it should be changed to the hate..... fit much better. -
zayne guardian/marauder tutorial
The Yeti of 66 replied to darthzayne's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
No offense, but that seems like a very very simple beginner build. It doesn't seem in any way risky or something to brag about. While a lot of people including me like to thrash kickass interesting builds like blaster jedi and the like, we still like and usually have played the builds. That looks a lot like the first build I used on the game, very simple, and as a result very simple to beat. Also not too fun to roleplay or brag about. Basically IMO it was a waste of time to post the build, as many will follow that trend anyway. Somebody threadjack it with other builds! -
Lol i mean Starforge vs Deathstar as in a one on one fight <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They would never be used like that. Ever. In fact if somebody was stupid enough to take on the Star Forge directly with it without a good strategy it would be destroyed, no chance. Now strategically, the Star Forge is a far greater tool. Death Star was meant to pin systems into check by keeping them fearful. The Star Forge was a factory powerful enough to constantly crank out ships. Also the armor had to be considerably stronger to withstand the heat of a star... however it obviously has a larger weak spot. Also, rewatch Episode VI ignorant poster who thinks it would burn through multiple ships. It blew up one ship at a time. Whether by arrogance or not, the weapon seems to be a contact and blow type of ray. If you have to go by one on one, that's stupid and I refuse to answer because of how easily the Death Star could destroy it. However if you had to pick one, Star Forge all day. Fleets are no longer costly, in fact the only cost is defense of the factory, which can all be done by the factory itself.

If Onderon leaves, others will follow, that was the decision. The Jedi stand with the Republic, so the issue HAD to be black and white sadly.

What was your favourite "Upgrade" to Gameplay?
The Yeti of 66 replied to chenwong88's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
On the ship they did at least. One thing was that none of them trusted each other. Handmaiden didn't trust anyone but you, not even the droids. Atton and Bao-Dur seemed a bit indifferent to each other. Visas KIND OF tried to mesh, but none of them trusted a Sith. Kreia was only there for you and sought the manipulate the others. HK was only there so he could get revenge on the HK-50 models simply for existing. T3 was very secretive and kept to himself to never reveal anything about Revan. G0-T0 was just there to make sure you didn't screw anything up. Mandalore had no reason to follow you.. and you see how he dislikes the entire crew. I could probably go on about EACH other their quarrels with each other, but it kind of makes sense that they avoid contact outside of the ship. The goal is to fight YOUR enemies, not each other ya know. -
differences btw male and female
The Yeti of 66 replied to Knights&Darths's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
They seem about the same. Atris loved the Exile as a champion. Possibly more if male.... but it doesn't matter, the fact that she had all fo that misdirected righteous fury regardless of gender was enough. So it was basically a flip a coin issue. Though I'm pretty certain they picked female because there are more gripping options with Atton than with Visas or the Handmaiden. Visas' sacrifice was a very evil action and had no feeling with it other than pity that the Exile hardly cared. Even when she's begging him to stay, it was moving, but not as bad as Atton either going nutty DS or him running off or dying for the Exile. -
Gunslinger Vs. Lightsaber?
The Yeti of 66 replied to chenwong88's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
To the blaster folks, everything you listed there I can do with my lightsaber wielding guy. For those reasons I can block your shots, and when another melee guy gets close I can spar with him, and still not get hit. Also the forms don't work with a gunslinger. I can also use a feat to set my modifier to dex rather than str. This game was MADE for lightsabers, and therefore while we could play rock, paper scissors with this and you could win some draws, the lightsaber kicks the blaster wielders arse. One thing you have proven though, dex pwns str by miles. -
I didn't have the option until the Ravager attacked to tell the guy on Telos, but it still worked...

Gunslinger Vs. Lightsaber?
The Yeti of 66 replied to chenwong88's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
My Dex and defense is far higher than Atton's. On the difficult setting he wasn't getting any kills at all, while I was hardly touched. With the Soresu form I was rarely ever shot, and Kreia and her lightsabers couldn't even touch me. I doubt that could have been done with blasters. While that is definitely an interesting build, the lightsabers get bonuses in EVERY SINGLE combat situation with a simple pause and change. I can beat your blaster quite easily as a result. Nice fun, but definitely not better than the good ol' saber. Another thing, can your blasters do well at close range? Fights end quicker if you don't have to run constantly. -
jedi robe inconsistencies
The Yeti of 66 replied to Knights&Darths's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Doesn't matter. It really doesn't. If they could have put robes like these new ones into K1, they would have. Also the new ones are like somebody said K1 robes with a robe over it. Nothing weird about the scene. The only one I'd agree to changing is the inside of Vrooks robe to red... maybe. No reason he wouldn't change robes when he went to Dantooine. Inconsistant... fah. People here are definitely getting bored. -
Nar Shaddaa by far. Not only can you get all the parts including some lightsabers afterwords, but you can train all of your people to Jedi level there except handmaiden I think. They make up for how boring the planet is.

who do u like better?
The Yeti of 66 replied to Darth Traya's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Um... she even said that she became Traya because she needed to to complete your training. I don't think that was her real face. She was more true to you while she was Kreia than while she was Traya. She wanted the Force destroyed... but she knew this would not happen, she still only turned to this path for you. -
This war was being fought from the shadows. The Jedi Masters saw it, I'm sure that Bastila also saw that this war could not be fought on the front without dying just like the other Jedi. She went into hiding just like the rest of them. Also, none of the masters knew of the Sith, so until they attacked, she did not know either. Also, she was with Carth, and he warped in just in time to fight them, she was most likely on that ship. If she was on the ship then I'd wager she was using battle meditation, if anything at all. Sure, she could assemble a commando unit and storm the ship. Then what? She gets drained by Nihilus, and is dead. The other story reasons were already stated.

Saber color = what?
The Yeti of 66 replied to lightsidedmarker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Oh.. I thought it was a tribute to the original trilogy because Luke's Saber looks more like the cyan than a defined blue and Vader's looks more like Orange than a defined red. -
What saber combination do u use?
The Yeti of 66 replied to lightsidedmarker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Meh, I started dual wielding just because of how boring the other fighting animations were getting. Double seems to still somehow throw in little things that I swear I have not seen before each time I play, but for the most part that style is even more boring to look at that single. As far as colors go... blue and red. Seems to work nicely most of the time.
