Riddick was never nor will he ever be a goodie. He has and always maintained his own code of behavior. For example he would never personally harm a kid. That was shown in Pitch Black and it continued in CoR.

What annoyed you about KOTOR's plot?
Judge Hades replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bioware's major fault is level pacing. Such as that whole thing withthe Leviathon should have happened at 9th to 10th level. Malak, being a 20th level bugger with supposedly hellish lightsaber uberness would be easily take out a 10th level character. -
I am sure they will do a re-design and I didn't think it was all that bad. Besides Spider-Man 3 is going to be the last of the series so they need to do something really special. When I get the money together I plan on buying the Pitch Black and Dark Fury DVDs.

I only saw two films this year, SPider man 2 and Chronicles of RIddick and I enjoyed both. The extended version of CoR on DVD is really nice and it made the movie and Pitch Black make more sense.

So, you are lazy. -
I just like to know how the hell they are justifying the delay for the PC version when they stated earlier that both version will be out at the same time.

I shouldn't have to explain what is common sense and is in grade school biology texts. -

A heroic sacrifice that is not needed is not a heroic sacrifice. It is just a waste. Most people were wiping the floor against Malak so there was no need for Bastila to sacrifice herself, yet Bioware scripted it such. It was very annoying and very implausible. Bioware should have known better by now for it was a fairly amateurish design. -

Well, since we have geneitcally engineered plants and animals for food for centuries I am sure we would have found out what negative effect there are. Now you will bring up some stupid crap about human GE through wife selecting even though that has absolutely nothing to do with food. Since you are too dense to understand what genetic engineering is and its many forms that it may take why should any intelligent person have a civil discourse with you on this matter. Grow a clue or go away. -
I agree that this needs to be moved but I think people are bneing a little over dramatic here. In similar cases overseas in Europe people have been killed. One little mindless brawl where no one is seriously hurt except for bruise egos is no reason to call it "a sad day" or that "sportsmanship is dead."

is the game coming out the 6th or the 4th?
Judge Hades replied to mace mandu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, I am pissed at Lucas Arts for not releasing the PC version at the same time as the X Box version, as they promised. Is it ithe X-Boxers fault, nope. Its Georgie's and Billy Boy's fault. Either do as promised or don't make promises you can't keep. Plain and simple. -

PRIMA Strategy Guide for KotOR2
Judge Hades replied to SmkJaguar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't know why anyone would bother with guides like that since games such as KotOR are so freaking simple you would need to be a moron not to know what to do next. Especially given the linear nature of the game. I don't see KotOR 2 being much different from that. -

I am expecting high level of terrorist actions against the US over the next few months. -
What annoyed you about KOTOR's plot?
Judge Hades replied to Ivan the Terrible's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hmmm... I can list quite a number of things that annoyed me with the plot of KotOR. First off everything was forced fed. You were forced to save Bastila. You were forced to have certain NPCs in the group. You were forced to have certain events happen. In a CRPG choice is what matters. You need to have the ability to choose how the story goes and how your character develops. Without choice its not a CRPG. Another thing I hate about the plot of KotOR the writers of Bioware made a major amateurish mistake of overusing foreshadow. There was no story twists, no surprise, nothing for me because of this. By the time your character knew he was Revan, any reasonably intelligent human being would have figured that out hours ago. Add the fact that there was no conversation bit to reflect this was downright insulting. Bioware seemed to assume that their players are morons. Malak: You are Revan. PC: So? Malak: So... Um... Does that upset you? PC: Oh, come off it, Malak. I knew I was Revan all along. Bastila: You DID! PC: Its not like a huge secret by the way the council acted. Sheesh. Shouldn't we be killing each other right about now? Anyway there are other things that annoyed me with KotOR's plot but I'll save them for later. -

Thing is I was stating about food base genetic engineering yet you brought up human Genetic engineering and sorry, if you think that people are food you are seriously f**ked in the head. Like I said, come back and post when your head is screwed in right and not till then. -

uhh. Well a concept is a concept. Selective breeding, is a concept. And is it not what we do when we choose a mate? Just because you can't comprehend something doesn't mean it's very different. Once AGIAN, I'm reffering to synthetically altered GE foods being iffy.. In any case, I brought up the Monsanto corp, and facts about them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Again, human beings are not food. We are discussing food, so selective breeding in livesstock is a form of genetic engineering. You might be talking in concept, but I prefer to talk in specifics. -
Why are they always Human??

What I am talking about selective livestock breeding and cross-fertilization of plants, not people. Its been going on for centuries and it is a form of gentic engineering. What they are doing now is just more selective and percise. -
Why are they always Human??
Judge Hades replied to mastaGAW's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Humans breed like rabbits. This reminds me of a line in the sci fi classic that is Doctor Who which I will ad lib here. Human beings, once with the powr of faster than light space travel, shall sweep across the galaxy as a plague, infecting worlds and cause great suffereing to other species. -
I like the top one. Put in a regualr sword instead of a lightsaber and it would have been perfect.
