  1. Those who cause murders such as these should have thier own lives ended.
  2. I spent 60 hours on my first play through of Fallout.
  3. It was combat, plain and simple. They just cheesed it up. Puzzles are like the Snares of Death in Bard's Tale 2 or riddles that makes you think. The werewolf scene was not a puzzle.
  4. Get either Francesco's or Oscuro's mod. It will up the challenge big time, though Francesco's is a little more balanced. No going up against 20th level necromancers at 1st level unlike OOO. Man, I had to use the environment to kill that necromancer in the first ruins in order to win. With Francesco's mod I faced mages you would actually run back away from melee, summon critters, then used range attacks on me while fighter types and their summons charged in. They were using actual tactics. Of corse I blasted them with a few choice lightning spells. One mage was trying to run and jump across a broken bridge to get away from me but I pegged him right and the back and killed him.
  5. When I first played Jade Empire it took me about 30 to 35 hours. Now it takes about 20 to 25 hours to beat. That is decent length for a console game but for PC it needs to be longer.
  6. I hate the dialog minigame in Oblivion. I simply do not use it.
  7. I never used transformation styles.
  8. Three of the five local stations here in central Iowa broadcast in HDTV.
  9. Okay, this is stupid. WTF Megatron not a Decepticon?!?!?! HE IS THE FREAKING LEADER OF THE DECEPTICONS! Who is this Michael Bay person and so I can shoot this bugger?!?! I am just going to write off this movie as being pathetically stupid.
  10. No, not really. Of the Old school games I found the Gold Box DnD games more enjoyable.
  11. For the most part. The general meaning is well general. I like to deal with specifics if possible so there is no ambiguity.
  12. I play CRPGs. From the days of Ultima 1 to current. Sure that aren't many games if one includes all the other genres but CRPGs is where I focus on for the most part.
  13. Its the only game that I have played that uses it.
  14. I just don't like the idea of it. I have yet played a game which my character spoke lines in which I didn't choose.
  15. Probably but I heard that it was a pretty short game so I never bothered with it because ti wouldn't be worth the money.
  16. Not that it matters now. Troika's dead. Bloodlines is gathering dust. I just hope that future hack and slash CRPGs don't follow the cheese of the near invincible boss creature that requires a gimmick to kill.
  17. No, because so far the only game that seems to be doing this hasn't been released and I haven't played it.
  18. Says I. It has enough that I would.
  19. That is why I said practically invincible since it cannot be killed by the PC by normal means. You have to use a gimmick to kill it. To each their own. I found it very stupid and a very poor design choice. You just don't make near invincible foes that requires a gimmick to kill in a hack and slash game.
  20. That way I know if I really want him to say it. If one of the dialog options is not something I don't wish him to say and I can only know after he says it it will be very annoying.
  21. I just rather know exactly what my character is going to say before he says it.
  22. And its easier to sleep in than a brightly lit room. DAMN THE SUN! DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!
  23. He killed his. I don't know why you are even supporting this. It wa a very bad design choice of Troika to place a practically unkillable boss in a hack and slash game.
