  1. Concrete evidence would go a long ways, greylord.
  2. Why not have both. Set up a script that detects how the player has so far played his character and take note of what class and skills the character has. From that data it can give use the appropriate options in which represent the role playing we have done so far with the character.
  3. Lethal injection is fairly cheap. Hanging is even cheaper.
  4. I have no problems in reading a lot of text in a video game. For me a video game is just another mode of entertainment, like a good novel or film.
  5. No. Having it killable should be in the realm of possibility for a combat oriented vampire but it should take a lot of effort regardless of weapons used, though should be slightly easier if one used silver.
  6. I'm thinking. Um... Back to Oblivion!
  7. Bald werewolfs? On second thought lets not use the flamethrower.
  8. It is only taking too long.
  9. Did I say the flamethrower would kill the werewolf easily? Nope. I said it would damage the werewolf but still be a very very very difficult and tough opponent. Just not invincible.
  10. That is what we are discussing, isn't it? Intent based conversation options in which the PC speaks the lines instead of using specific sentences and phrases, right?
  11. I just could think of any in which to choose an intent and your character had spoken lines to act on that intent in a CRPG. As far as I know, Mass Effect is the first one.
  12. That is why the Observation doors would still be an option. The point is even thought the werewolf is tough it is not invincible.
  13. Another person with thier head stuck up their ass. Company for you, Llyr.
  14. That does not change th fact that they made the werewolf invulnerable. Now the way I would have done it is have the time limit, made the werewolf still have its strong attacks, but vulnerable to damage and killable. However it would have major damage reduction and hit points. It still a pretty much a killing machine but those who have the stronger weapons, such as the uber machine guns and flamethrowers, can kill it in a sustained fight. Now the ammo usage will most probably make this not a cost effective option but nonetheless the option is there.
  15. I prefer executions of life without parole. Its more economical and conserves resources.
  16. If I choose a character's skills, gender, abilities, and so forth then he or she is mine. At least in theory.
  17. Like I said, Llyr. Its above your head and in between your knees.
  18. Its not the specific opponent that I am talking about. It is the situation itself in which you know your life is in danger. That you have a damn good chance of getting killed. In that sort of harried situation, regardless of the opponent, most people are not going to be thinking straight and be able to solve puzzles.
  19. I prefer to know exactly what my character is going to say, if it is in fact suppose to be my character.
  20. Again, you totally misinterpret what I am talking about. Its above your head, and between your knees.
  21. You must have failed reading comprehension in school.
  22. My list would have to go like this: 1. Sisko 2. Picard 3. Archer 4. Kirk 5. Janeway
  23. I should give that a go and see how it works.
  24. Its the only CRPG I've gotten this year so far and well, I have removed the compass with a mod.
