  1. I don't really like OOO. It does a great number of things but it makes the game next to impossible to play in the beginning levels. A better mod is Francesco's. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...s.Detail&id=268 How it tweaks the game is a bit more subtle. Also if you are looking for a more PC UI you will want to get BTMod: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...ds.Detail&id=25 Oh hell, here is a good article detailing how to optimize Oblivion for the PC: http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/article.asp?CIID=36919
  2. BG2 does it all the time... Do you HATE that game too? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Eh? Never had a problem killing any and all beasties I went against in that game.
  3. Volourn, you should know that the majority of Star Wars nutcases are console owners. In any case I can finally ditch the X Box and solely work on building my PC game library.
  4. So am I. Going against a near invincible boss with only one tricky way to kill is not fun. That would be like me, in one of my PnP games, decide arbitrarily make the dragon the party is suppose to defeat only killable if it is scratched by the claw of a 20th level kobold sorcerer suffering from mummy rot. Otherwise the dragon is invincible and kills their party of 15th to 18th level characters in 2 to 3 rounds. Oh yeah, that sounds like a crapload of fun.
  5. If there were similar gameplay like that earlier in the game perhaps I would have but the whole Werewolf boss being indestructable came completely out of nowhere.
  6. Okay, sounds good to me. :D PS: One should never drunk post 4am in the morning.
  7. You are taking a post from Pixie Stick thread seriously? Okay, not a liar but a fool. HA!
  8. The werewolf was not fun because it broke the rules in which Bloodlines was governed.
  9. You must enjoy lying since you do it so much.
  10. Last I checked Sims wasn't a CRPG. Nice trolling, now go away.
  11. Nope, Alan is wrong. The Werewolf scene in Bloodlines is terrible because it is very much inconsistant with the rest of the game. Disregarding the PnP rules and just focusing on the rules given in the game given the power level of a typical werewolf as shown that should have also made the head asian vampire, the sherrif, and La Croix also invincible since those three are indeed more powerful and ancient than a garden variety werewolf.
  12. And therein lies the problem with you "hardcore" RPG players. **** the rules system, play the game as you see fit and have fun instead of whining about rules. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Follow the rules of the game or the game is nothing. If the game is based on an established rules system it should abide to that rules system as faithfully and as consistantly as possible.
  13. Barbie addiction? Sheesh, what the hell is wrong wanting to customize your character?
  14. I always wanted to call Bao Dur Scott.
  15. Well, yeah. There so many of them.
  16. Fine, lets give this a go. 1. 33 2. Depends on the mood and where I am in the apartment. Yellow for kitchen, Blue in the living room, black in the bedroom, bright green in the computer room/library, and well you get the idea. 3. Writing, Literature, Arguing, Religion, Gaming (computer and PnP) 4. A wide range of styles. From Enya to Marilyn Manson. Some rap, older material, and very very specific country artist, like Johnny Cash. 5. I have a wide range of movies tastes, from Lord of the Rings, Casablanca, 3 Weddings and a Funeral. If it has a good story to it I'll watch it. 6. CRPGs in all forms, except the Gothic series. 7. Aggressive arguing without resorting to insults. A general distaste for the norm. 8. Complacentness. 9. Positive in a cynical sort of way.
  17. It would be funny if it wasn't true. Okay, it is true but its funny anyway. Sad also. My poor poor Malkavian. :'(
  18. LOOK! A butterfly!
  19. You two need to get a room. Sheesh.
  20. Sony is both a winnar and a loser.
  21. Besides, who gives a smeg if the game was a financial success or failure. That isn't our business. That is the affair of Bioware and Microsoft. As gamers, the only thing we need to concern ourself with is if th game is fun or not and did we get our money's worth out of it. Nothing else matters.
  22. Besides Bioware is busy hyping Mass Effect. After Mass Effect 1 comes out more information about JE 2 might be more forthcoming. Besides it is somewhat unreasonable to expect Bioware, or any company for that matter, to spill the beans in full about their projects. Leave the unreasonable to me, Grommie. Tigranes: Nope. It is a fun action CRPG. There are some aspects I don't like about it, like the stupid minigames, but for the most part it was worth my money.
  23. Hey, each time someone brings up that damn werewolf expect a rant from me, dammit.
