Yes it is true. There was no gimmick kills in BG2. All kills in that game that I made were done by my weapons and/or spells that my characters had in their possession. Last I checked you can't have the observatory in your inventory.

Because I never had any problems with BG2. I was able to kill my enemies in BG2 without any problems whatsoever.

I had no problems in BG2.

I just don't have a particular liking for cinematic games. I'll take a old style hardcore CRPG over games like Jade Empire and KotOR.

BGDA is one of the worse games I have played on the X Box. Second only to The Bard's Tale.

Yep, different enemies have different statistics such as the sheriff has different statistics as La Croix as he has diferent statistics Nines as he has different statistics as... and so forth and so on.

You could use the Print Screen button to show the crash and post the pic here.

And no other enemy is the Sheriff, and no other enemy is La Croix, and no other enemy is the asian vampire woman, and no other enemy... Your point being? The observatory kill is a gimmick.

All I am asking for is proof. Evidence of this. I don't take people's word on things unless they can back it up with hard evidence.

I don't count KotOR as a Hardcore CRPG. Its too cinematic. The last real hardcore CRPG of Bioware was Baldur's Gate 2.

Bioware hasn't really released a hardcore CRPG for years.

Still sounds too limiting for my tastes.
