  1. If someone doesn't try to kill me I don't try to kill them. If I can get extra people to help me in a fight, either through trickery or rallying them through a speech I will. I just don't attack someone because they are there. That would be stupid.
  2. Never tried to kill him.
  3. One game makes them a fan?
  4. BG2 had pretty good sales.
  5. Because I am not particularly fond of Star Wars to begin with.
  6. A game that breaks the rules is not fun.
  7. Actually I didn't. I should have been able to kill him when we first met. Same with Malak on the Leviathon. Both should have been dead by my hand in both those instances. Sion and Malak are both cheesefests. Malak is worse of the two with how Bioware artificially toughened him up on the Star Forge.
  8. Then it was a fight that shouldn't have been there.
  9. Oh, another attack just because I have differing opinions.
  10. Yes, but you didn't need to use an outside source beyond your character's abilities to kill him.
  11. Okay, just the flamethrower.
  12. And you got not suspicious it might not use the exact same rules as WoD when vampires got downed with mere bullets (or is that also possible with WoD? I really am not familiar with non-game D&D or WoD) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vampires can be killed easier than a werewolf in most cases but that does not mean a werewolf is invincible.
  13. A flamethrower and the killmatic should have worked as well.
  14. Werewolves can be harmed in WoD with aggravated damage, just like a vampire.
  15. A situation I never faced. In fact I had no idea it was an instant kill till it was brought up in this thread.
  16. Never faced Irenicus asylum without the inmates. Never bothered to try because any seasoned adventurer would know how to use good cannon fodder. Also one should know his enemies. If undead, healing spells kill. If fire based, use water and ice based magic. If a dragon, lower its magic resistance then pummel it with spells while the frontliners surround it to beat it down.
  17. Because IT DID NOT EXIST IN BG2. You are giving attributes to BG 2 that simply did not exist in order to perpetuate your argument.
  18. No, it doesn't. There wasn't one single combat in BG 2 that I have to figure out like a puzzle in order to win.
  19. BG2 had no puzzle combats. They were all pretty much straight forward to me.
  20. Third and Fourth season Enterprise kicked ass.
  21. Yes I have. You have a member of your party whose training, abilities, and resources can over come his enemies without the need of a gimmick. Last time I checked my vampire isn't proficient in Observatory.
  22. Do you normally have a cleric in your party that has at least one healing spell in reserve? I know I always do.
  23. Well, gee, according to myth vampires can only be killed by a stake to the heart or fear the cross and running water to. You know, I killed many a vampire with a shotgun.
  24. Hassat, you are comparing apples to oranges here. First off any DnDer would know to have multiple different weapons in his or her inventory for there are some weapons that are more effective against an enemy than another. You just don't use a piercing weapon on a skeleton, you use a bludgeoning weapon. You should know this, but instead you rather make fun and attack like everyone else.
  25. No, but you can have them in your party.
