I'm pretty sure about everyone at Obsidian would have rather worked on their own IP's. But that's not how the gaming business works... Also I'm pretty sure the publisher has a thing or two to say about what kinda features they are gonna implement into the game. I wonder if this is how Bethesda fans feel about original Fallout fans. "OMG they are ruining the franchise". When few things are done differently. I didn't even know original DS had a proper multiplayer until someone here mentioned it. Don't think any of the reviews I read mentioned anything about it at all. But apparently Dungeon Siege is only about online multiplayer.

Unfortunately I don't think they've even started working on it yet. But why exactly do you refer it as MMO? Was there some news I missed? Afaik Red Eagle Games has plans for a MMO as well. But since Red Eagle Entertainment doesn't really do **** with their license I wouldn't really take that comment about MMO seriously.

I thought L.A. Noire came out on the 16th. Brink is also coming out on the 10th so its going to be a pretty awesome month for me. Edit: L.A. Noire comes out on the 17th, same day as Honest Hearts. Since I'm from Europe, L.A Noire comes out on the 20th. Hence before.

You heard wrong. As far we know 3 interns and 5? staff members were layed off from Fallout: New Vegas project/team. And at least those interns were hired just for the DLC project. Gotta love how a single post that says about 8 were layed off turns into massive layoffs that effect games these people were not even working on etc... Game journalism at it's best: -Let's not bother to research at all ,then mention DS3 in the same news as the layoffs and boom 50 people immediately think they were fired from DS3 project and how it's going to suck now etc. etc.

I never could play Metro 2033 longer than 15 minutes. The retarded Russian accent got totally on my nerves, also the game was way too linear. Aye, the accent is annoying. It's a shooter, so it's supposed to be linear

From what I've read this is not even bad. Some companies are just so damn ruthless when it comes to using people on a project and then letting them go. In this case it seems now that they've (mostly) wrapped up working on FNV dlcs they are letting some people go since there isn't enough work for all of them (for example Bethesda didn't opt. making few more dlcs, still no guarentee about DS3 dlcs since it's not out yet etc..)

That's some bad news. This means less good crpg's in the upcoming years and some good people lost their jobs I guess publishers didn't warm up to their next project. Hopefully there's still enough staff to have few teams working on games...

Aye, I do have 2nd gen. Biofuels up everytime. Need to switch up to Electric cars as well. Promoting renewable energy as well in most of the places from like the 3rd or 4th turn. I leave Africa alone, every single time. Edit: Sweet, managed to beat it. Horrible score though 1517. Temp was 3.0 and the hdi wasn't far away from the 0.5 level either.

Aye, I'm using tobin tax and eco awareness. Even tried using grow xxxx cards this time around. Went a bit better, then the temperature rised above 3.0 level and game ended :/ Damn fuel crisis. Edit: At least I didn't get killed like on my last game. Rioters murdered me in GEO HQ

Apparently I suck at this game. Beat the 1st mission easily. But on 2nd one no matter what I do huge global financial troubles start erupting with famine as well and the whole world hates me. I've been trying research stuff in few of the countries, getting those flood & drought systems up and running and just slowly developing the areas I'm in (I'm not going to Russia, Africa and the Middle East)

More likely they didn't want to go against L.A Noire and The Witcher 2 etc. June isn't that bad with competion.
