Sure there is, L.A Noire is one of those games pretty much everyone is expected to buy, even some crpg fans. If you look at what Red Dead Redemption did to all competition back in 2009 that should give an example. Pretty much every game released during that time suffered and didn't pull the numbers that were expected.

Four classes is certainly enough, they might add few later on with expansions/dlcs. Release date at the moment seems okay, though if L.A Noire gets pushed back a week or is massive hit like Red Dead Redemption that might hurt initial sales of DS3. Witcher 2 is also released 2 weeks prior to DS3. The box art looks sweet

I don't think it's possible to make a worse shooter than Dead Space was on PC. Controlling that game with kb + mouse was such a drag I quit after 30 minutes.

And not to mention Chris is one of the owners of the company. People really shouldn't take rumours posted by some anonymous poster all that seriously. Sure it's nice to speculate, but since the gaming business has been and will be pretty much quiet about what's happening before, during and after production we won't know for sure until all the NDA's are cleared and someone who has quit the industry comes forward and spills the beans on what really went on.

And nobody knows a damn thing about the tv series or the movies either. They are just sitting on the rights which afaik pretty much pissed off Robert Jordan. You hear from time to time some odd rumours about these projects but they've never shown anything nor given any facts how they would do these....

Palgn preview I guess games such as Fallout 1&2 or Planescape: Torment didn't have any variety in responses and choices...

Obsidian has made a specialty of those kind of games, why must you compare it to a Bioware game?!? Because those twats probably haven't seen a single CRPG before Mass Effect. Or maybe it's their readers that don't know games that were released prior to ME.

Well at least it gives us the confirmation (if this source is actually trustworthy) that SEGA execs who know nothing about gaming pretty much ensured that the game wouldn't be finished in time etc... Don't really know why Atari is getting flak on NWN2 though. Hasn't it been said multiple times already that the team lead by Ferret was overreaching by Obsidian staffers. Yeah, sure a month of bug killing wouldn't have hurt

What do they mean with this? All it took to having a good relationship with party members was showering them with gifts, even if one acted contrary to their desires during quests. NWN 2's & KOTOR 2's influence system had DA beaten. Now you lost at least -15 reputation with Volourn. But it's okay, just give him a golden statue of the Doctors at Bioware and you'll gain at least +30 reputation. Oh and thanks Dave for the answers. And any idea when we might have a preview in a finnish gaming magazine (preferrably Pelit, since the others aren't very good)?
