Decided to back Dead State and Xenonauts on Kickstarter. Also took some pictures of my neck to see how it's coping after the surgery I had (nothing major, nice doctor lady removed some **** underneath my skin and now there's like 4 big ass stitches there). Looks a bit worse than yesterday, guess it's leaking a bit. Guess I'll go and force some nurse to take a look a at it later on next week.

Or maybe THQ is just flat out bsing. They are bleeding for money after all, getting a fat income from South Park would surely benefit the company at this stage. But I guess the more reasonable/probable answer is a big marketing budget.

Either that or Obsidian and/or Matt&Trey are getting a huge payday off the top. But to be honest, unless it gets totally murdered in reviews it will sell those 2 million units, just because it's South Park if properly marketed. The team itself at Obsidian is around 50 people.

Did they actually show anything? I only saw Matt & Trey talk while the damn stream was buffering like mad.

I don't think it automatically means they've signed a project. Might just be a project they are going to pitch for publishers. Or did I miss something?

Finished Legend of Grimrock, so I guess I should finish Trine 2 as well before moving on to other games...

Who could have guessed... I hope the license will change owners after this game and someone with better track record will get to make games based of the license.

Heh, Carmageddon brings back so many memories...

It's good. But then again you disliked Max Payne, so there's definately something wrong with your taste in games. Which would make think you might not like Alan Wake either. I enjoyed the game, but at full price didn't think I got my money's worth.

Well, E3 is coming..

Today I witnessed my local ice hockey team win the Finnish Championships for the 2nd time. Still can't believe it.

Legend of Grimrock. Really loving it so far, too bad there haven't really been any games like this since the 90's.

And how exactly does Crysis differ from all the other generic shooters? Oh, yea it got better graphics! I still want my money back for the unplayable mess that Crysis was (the battle on the deck).

Damn Fargo. I think I need to upgrade my pledge to 30 dollars.

Looking at the reception that Legend of Grimrock got made me wonder why hasn't anyone else done a old school game like that? The team had 4 people in it and they've made fairly good game. I would love to see a Dungeon Master like Kickstarter game from Obsidian with their own twist to the genre.

I'll believe it when I see it. Not buying into hype over some shooter.

It's not that long when I last played one of em. Still pretty damn entertaining and I still find both games pretty much one of the best shooters released during those years.

How exactly was it disastrous? I found it quite entertaining and the atmosphere in the game beats most generic shooters easily.

I have seen enough already to determine it will be better than anything Remedy will every be able to accomplish. Hello Volourn number 2.
