It's a great game. I rented it a while back and just had to buy it the first time it showed up on midweek.

I always enjoyed the caster. That spell that steals health from everyone around is enough to beat the game with.

Just beat Super Scribblenauts, too. On to the S levels.

Finished Dungeon Siege 3. Really enjoyed it.

Decided to pick up Two Worlds 2, as well. Only other game I've gotten this sale is Spacechem. And you know what? Spacechem is awesome. Most intellectually challenging game I've played in a long while.

Hm, out of curiousity, does the Blu-Ray LOTR extended actually have anything beyond what's shown in the normal extended set? Or is just the same in better picture? Should be the same with better picture. I've not heard about anything new.

Amazon did something I've never seen before. They combined two seperate orders into one. My LOTR Extended Blu-Ray and Super Scribblenauts arrived in the same box, despite being placed 10 days apart. I always wanted them to do that. Anyway, the point of mentioning that is Super Scribblenauts arrived. So once I get my daily tickets from Steam sales, time to get time travelling dinosaurs.

Then talk to their ghost. That's a gimmicky ability that I can't help but adore. Like Wild Mages from ToB.

Steam sale and last week's Uber update are interfering with my ability to finish Dungeon Siege 3. In fact, that's possibly going to continue through the weekend. The backlog is only getting worse. So much worse. Never did finish Dead Space 2 after the freezing. LA Noire only just started vice. Oh I need to play the first Alice that came when I bought Alice 2 before I even start Alice 2. Yeah, guess how that is going. But hey, I finished FEAR 3.

Arcanum is a dang good game. Comparisons to Fallout are not entirely unfounded. A bit imbalanced and quirky in the old school vein. I found the plot captivating.

The novel or short story collection? That is, Last Wish or Blood of Elves? Got them both, but haven't read either. I think some gents around here have gone through them, but I'm always interested in other takes. So I can know where to play them in the queue.

I don't think the line on DA2's success or lack thereof is all that relevant here. We do have a DA2 thread floating around somewhere in computer and console if you really want to talk about it.

I wish I was famous on forums I don't visit. The signing up for spam I could do without, however.

If you still haven't played Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, it's part of the Heroes pack on sale today. The pack is cheaper than just DMoMM

Uh, maybe it was just spoofed? That's a possibility. However, hotmail also claimed the account had done so. Maybe they just based that on the failed delivery notices or reports.

I also found out that my oldest (and pretty much unused, a throwaway account now) e-mail account had been compromised at some point. I had failed delivery notifications for spam. New passwords ahoy. Kinda strange that someone would hijack it a few months ago, then send spam from it without changing the password it had.

That's a surprisingly candid comment. I think he's absolutely right within a limited context, but I don't expect to see that kind of thing written.

I had a dream about coding and math last night. I haven't had one of those in a decade. It's no wonder I didn't want to get up.

GAMES FOR THE GAME PILE

I find Hitman to be like a really strange adventure game. Especially Blood Money. Which is why I think I enjoy it. give Donuts to FBI

I'm not really sure how to distribute stats on him. I kind of wing it. I do find that he builds up power ridiculously quick. At level 20 (or is it 21?), I'm putting up perpetual motion and one of the other two defense skills, dropping geometry, then hitting them with creative until I run out of focus. Destroys everything and refills my power. So even if I end up with no focus, I hit another perpetual motion. It's not a nuanced strategy, I'll admit.
