  1. I'm hijacking for "DVDs you've seen recently." Just finished up Babylon 5 season 3. The final two episodes really put the Soap Opera in Space Opera. I kid you not, a snowglobe hit the floor.
  2. I imagine he's just got everyone's resume, personal website, and linkedin bookmarked. Or Echelon.
  3. No... Don't waste your money on that. Especially when Two Worlds 2 was 70% off just a couple days agao. I hate you. I was getting ready to settle in to Drakensang and now you guys are encouraging me to settle into Two Worlds 2. You may not be doing it intentionally, but it's happening!
  4. Not really vehicle griefing. You just get in a queue to get a vehicle, then wait. If you TK, you get weapon locked. The majority played to win and obeyed commands from the higher ranks.
  5. Frustrating when the servers were throwing fits, glorious at all others.
  6. I'm just going to sit here with my mouth open, drooling on the floor.
  7. Random idea. Are you doing the Glitterdelve stuff before you do the other Stonebridge stuff? Is it possible that you got the quests mixed up? When I played through this, completing sidequests it would default to the other Stonebridge quest, which pointed at the queen but I could not get to until I finished Glitterdelve.
  8. Yes, because this is the second time you've mentioned him and I still have no clue who he is in relation to Steam.
  9. That's kind of what these sales are for, older and independent games. They don't put new games on sale. I'd be surprised if you already bought Atom Zombie Smasher, personally.
  10. It does sound great on paper. It's designed to incentivize teachers making sure their students comprehend. Going that extra mile! However, path of least resistance comes into effect. I have to wonder if some of these same teachers (and how many), might have short changed the students anyway.

    Beer

Thanks for the info, Monte. I'll keep my eyes out and will let you know what we have for opinions. Strange I can't remember a time I was buying beer in Texas whether it be in a bar/pub or at the store that Lone Star was not an option. Lone Star is like the official I'm going to drink a lot of cheap beer tonight and piss on Bud/Miller/Coors. I've always subscribed to the drink a sixer of relatively good beer and finish the night with a twelve pack of Lone Star method. Maybe I've never seen it because I skip over the cheap beer automatically. But I don't know anyone who drinks it, either. Only drinking buddy in recent times I've had preferred Shiner like me. Family and co-workers drink crap like Coors so I'd never ask their preference if my life depended on it. Well, my brother-in-law has somewhat good tastes. But I've seen him drink Heineken. Only time I had that it was like slightly flavored water.
  12. Did you read books in Morrowind?

Then tell me about Austrian preferences. I want to learn!

    Beer

All three! Why not? What's your preference in each? Being an uncivilized brute that is an American, I must confess to ignorance of the distinction.

    Beer

I am a Texan and I have never heard or seen this beer before.

    Beer

I would like to engage in a cultural exchange topic on something that is probably near and dear to the livers of a few people around here. Beer. I'm not a regular drinker of it, myself, but I do pick up a 12 pack of bottles every few months. I'm a fan of Shiner, especially their Hefeweizen. I recently broke from this to pick up a pack of Newcastle Brown Ale. I did some brief researching, found that it is the US's most popular imported beer. But I'd really like to know what is England's most popular beer for the English. Among the draught and bottled, especially. Looking to see what I can get a hold of that the English prefer.
  17. Old thread Knock knock jokes are still hip with the kids these days, right?
  18. New thread time!
  19. I'd been looking at the game for a while. Kind of tired of strategy RPGs. The genre seems to be bigger than actual RPGs at this point, though not as popular. Anyway, I had a moment of weakness... $4.50? How can it go wrong?
  20. Generally it's a small development team not financed by a publisher. Though it's kind of taken on a pseudo-genre appearance. If Activision made a short $5 game with 8-bit graphics, I'm sure people would call it indie as well, even when it's not.
  21. I think I will play some Drakensang: River of Time. But I'm going to do something special and play it with a British accent.
  22. Wanted to post a recommendation of Spacechem. Intellectually challenging to a significant degree. Part of this is due to a bad tutorial, but a lot of it is due to it being a very complicated puzzle game. It's great if you want hard puzzles.
  23. Let's just get back to discussing Dungeon Siege 3. No need to discuss each other.
  24. I didn't see those events, either. That sounds like it would explain the pacing issue I sensed around there. The swamp seemed to be rather short compared to the other zones. Doubly so with all the content at Raven's Rill, the zone prior.
  25. That makes me think it was some error in the installation process. Not a problem with the game files, but a problem with something that gets installed elsewhere. Just uneducated speculation on my part.
