This was the response from the head guy at BioWare Montreal working on ME to a question on twitter asking whether the new ME will go in a more shooter direction. It sounds rather vague. What exactly does "the quantities may vary" even mean, in regards to what was asked? I think he's making a cooking analogy. The quantity of ingredients will vary. Instead of 2 tablespoons of oregano, he's using 1. So yes, it's vague. He's essentially saying "more or less."

Bioware Montreal hasn't produced anything. Edit: If I'm reading miscellaneous wikis right, they've helped out with some titles, like Mass Effect 2. I wonder if they're sharing any talent with EA Montreal, who did Army of Two.

Actually enjoying Halo 4 multiplayer. Though the marksman rifle dominating makes it repetitive quickly. Close to the same problem Reach had with the same gun, it's just not as bad since there's two other guns that are workable. Still rifles, sadly. Also has the console FPS problems of small playercounts and short map times. Saw I had a little bit of money left, so I grabbed both Deponia games while GOG had them on sale. I'll try them out tomorrow to decide if I should play them or ZOE HD.

But all aspects of the game do age. Graphics, sound, combat mechanics, quest design, even the story (unless it's totally original and never gets copied). That can be charming or at least a non-issue. Now the 4th wall is a different issue, it comes down to personal taste I guess. There's a difference between becoming dated and aging. The Alien movies have aged. Max Headroom is dated.

lol u tk him 2da bar|? Memes are a fast evolving element of internet culture. Even the ones that don't get overused and tired quickly will become dated nontheless. And the third wall breaking is somewhat needless. I view using them similar to booger jokes, cheap attempts at a laugh from those with poorly developed humor. That criticism goes for jokes about airline peanuts, as well. I'm not opposed to all references, mind you. But I do ask for discrimination in taste.

This sounds like a hardware problem or something bizarre. What are the exact quotes?

I'm about to do something shameful. Instead of finishing Assassin's Creed 3 or doing Zone of the Enders HD, I'm going to do a Halo Marathon. :/ I am a shame to my elitism.

I noticed that they dropped Bioware from the Command & Conquer site a few months ago. I think it was around the time they dropped Generals 2 as the title.

Lampshades have been hung and it didn't really improve the situation. I think they should just take a more reasonable approach. Maybe a couple of characters are genuinely insane. And maybe the player could recognize that and try to defuse the situation without setting them off. But for the most part, they should flee or simply not even be an encounter with that kind of disparity. I like the idea of beaning them and turning them over, as well.

I thought it had to be 30 minutes late even back when they did do it. But my understanding is the same as Hurlshot's, that they abandoned it because of speeding delivery drivers.

Beat Halo 4.

I'm only halfway into Halo 4 and feel comfortable making a prediction for 5. That feels weird. Talking about a Halo plot. I never really thought they had plots before. Maybe it's just tickling my transhumanist fancy.

I know fairly well what sapient means and I do not confuse it for sentience. Self-awareness and sentience are rather minor things. Your definition of wisdom is a poor one. Sapience is impossible for non-sentient creatures, even by that. As any creature too simple for sentience has no significant memory, they have merely conditioning. Sapience is what is supposed to help man stand apart. It is no common thing. It requires intelligence and judgement. By contrast, sentience merely requires the ability to perceive, a pre-condition of the other. Edit: Also, adjectives can be used as nouns. TMYK The meek shall inherit the earth.

PS3. Xbox 360 is better on framerate, but doesn't have analog buttons like the game was designed for.

Would that be the original Zone of the Enders for the PS2 polished up for ps3 or something else? It's ZOE 1 and 2 for the PS3, yes. Sadly, ZOE 2 is reported to have FPS drops.

You don't have time for that. Nanowrimo, remember? I'll probably spend 7-8 writing. Then 10-12. Which leaves a blank at 5:30-7 and 8-10 for gaming.

Halo 4 should arrive today. My Zone of the Enders HD, as well, though it's 4 days delayed. Assassin's Creed III is failing to hold my interest, so I'll probably jump over to Halo 4 after work.
