  1. This discussion is drifting further and further off-topic - can we take it to one of the faction threads?
  2. You do it this way: go to the RDC before anyone else and refuse to assassinate the queen. They'll attack you. When you've killed them all, go to the palace and the queen will thank you for your aid and lend a few watershapers to help reach Ukaizo. There's no need to frame anyone.
  3. The Huana also tolerate slavery. They just forbid trading in native slaves. Pallegina got a good ending in my "no faction" run.
  4. I've had the quest trigger in different spots, but there seems to be a failsafe trigger for it after Ashen Maw. That's where it popped up in my speedrun game (Port Maje -> Ashen Maw -> Neketaka (automatically) -> Ukaizo).
  5. It should trigger after you do the Ashen Maw thing, if it hasn't earlier. Or it may be bugged, of course.
  6. Yeah, she's really gonna hate my priest PCs (when I finally get around to playing them), which is a shame because she's my second favorite companion. But it should make for an interesting conversation.
  7. I'm kind of afraid of what they'll do to Pallegina if they bring her back in the next game. Poor woman has been honored, banished, re-hired, re-banished, lost at sea, sent back to the Dyrwood, etc., etc...
  8. That second part is entirely in your control. Just tell him to stop, and he will! #AlothBestCompanion
  9. Great post, but this part isn't true - it's Awakened folks who recall their past lives, not Watchers. It's possible to be Awakened and not a Watcher (Aloth, Maneha, Freyol), a Watcher but not Awakened (Adaryc of the Iron Flail), or an Awakened Watcher (Maerwald, the PC).
  10. Going by the datamined dialogue options here, priest of Eothas has the second-most subclass checks in the game (14). Second to priest of Magran, who has 25. Didn't know this game was about Magran, did you? Priest and cipher classes are equal at 25 checks, but that's generic "priest", not specific to any god.
  11. If anyone out there is interested, I've modified my game so that Aloth's dialogues with the player are a bit more romance-y. PM me if you'd like to give this (very basic) Aloth romance mod a try in your game
  12. Not necessarily. You can kill all the slavers and still keep Castol around - it depends on the arguments you make at his "trial," later in the game.
  13. I tried it all those ways - no dice. In fact, once I got an ending slide that claimed Ferrante was still alive. Darn it. The problem may be that I never got a chance to initiate combat with Ferrente via dialogue after he gave me the ghost ship quest; I had to just attack him on my own. But the game did acknowledge that he was dead in a later conversation, so... I dunno. I guess in my next game, I'll just give up on the ghost ship, kill them both whenever the dialogue gives me a chance and see what happens.
  14. If you skip it, he's bitter about the gods and sails around with the Watcher. That's the ending I got, at least.
  15. Check out this thread. It includes a discussion of changing classes with the console.
  16. His -1 and -2 dialogues don't trigger completely - they cut out after the first exchange - so the romance can't be initiated. At least in my game, and someone else on the forum had the same problem.
  17. This happened to me too. I discovered that when you arrive in Sayuka, if you go to the workshop and talk to them before talking to Fleetmaster Okaya, the quest won't show up in your journal. You could try going back to talk to the Fleetmaster, if you didn't before.
  18. If it wasn't for asking me to blow up the powder depot, I'd probably side with either the Vailians or the Huana every time. I love Pallegina's "best buds" ending when you side with the VTC.
  19. I'm going to try that in my current playthrough. I'm just not sure whether to kill them after getting the ghost ship, or before I go off to snag it.
  20. I keep Maia out of my party when visiting Tikawara or Port Maje. I'll just leave the quest unfinished.
  21. I hope you're happy. You've just condemned both of them to death in all my future games. Cleaning up the Deadfire, one pirate at a time
