I tried *SO MANY TIMES*. Literally like a *dozen* times, couldn't manage to do it. They run up to him to damn fast, I couldn't even get close. It's a good idea to have a priest on the party with Withdraw spell. Cast it on Giaccolo and he's untargetable for pretty much the entire fight.

Well, at least Durance doesn't end up becoming a literal serial killer in one of his endings.

I think Xoti suffers from Liara/Leliana syndrome. Sometimes the characters end up "too special" because the writers get carried away. Her dispositions with the party members make no sense and make others come out as hypocritical, and she even has additional epilogues in terms of relationships with other companions (Maia, Eder). Nobody else gets that much attention, not even returning companions. I don't mind, but I'd rather all companions were treated equally. Because different characters resonate with different people. Honestly, i would happily trade Xoti away to have pretty much ANY of the sidekicks as actual companions. Is that weird?
