  1. Wow, Steam getting rid of hentai has really broadened horizons! Steam is doing what?! THOSE MONSTERS!
  2. Skald/Berserker with Modwyr the Waifu Sword (gives immunity to Frenzy's confusion) It's great.
  3. At least Durance in PoE 1 can offer CC immunity which is very useful because PoE 1 is loaded with enemies using CC. I feel like the whole point of priests on PoE 1 was to just spam all the Prayer against X at the start of every fight, cause otherwise your entire party gets paralyzed/dominated/stunned and wiped PoE 1 stood for Paralysis of Eternity. Cause that's really how you win or lose a game. PAralyse the crap out of everything or get perma stunned/dominated to death. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxUa3eL8kF4

  5. Honestly, i find it really lame that you can't learn these spells on level up, since you might've already had those spells in the first game memorized. I mean, it's not like those spells are really super OP or anything and it's not like you can't learn other spells from those specific archmages through simple leveling up. It's just lame. Also, Concelhaut's Crushing Doom is the coolest thing ever.
  6. Actually, it would've been cool to fish her out of the ocean, i assume that her joints would've been completely rusted over (if she even was conscious still) and you could even get a [Cruel] choice of bashing her to bits and getting the Breastplate that way (extra [Cruel] points if she's still conscious)
  7. I only ever used the Obsidian lamps, the ones that summon shades. Cause the shades look cool as ****. I mean, have you seen those dementor-looking mother****ers?
  8. Mechanically, Deadfire is superior, that's for sure. But i much preferred PoE 1's companions and felt that the story was much more engaging.
  9. Honestly, with how lame the buffs seem and how PAAAAAINFULLY long the casting times are, i can't see myself using them. By the time the priest can cast a single buff spell, i have either killed everyone or the priest is dead (or at least interrupted).
  10. Err...I'll do my best to explain this, I apologize in advance of it is unhelpful. Berath is the god of cycles and death. Berath's portfolio would be concerned with the cycle of reincarnation (of which death must be a part) and therefore serves as the patron/matron of The Wheel. While this would tangentially involve "life" as a part of the cycle of death and reincarnation, Berath has very little, if anything, to do with life and is more focused on death and the cycle of reincarnation. Eothas is the god of light and redemption, renewal and rebirth. Eothas' portfolio has very little to do with death and is more concerned with redeeming the wicked, renewing the decrepit and rebirth from death. Rebirth being both figurative and literal. Guan, an aspect of Eothas, is concerned with death as simply a part of rebirth. While Berath would treat death is a cold inevitability and nothing more than a part of the cycle of reincarnation, Gaun would treat death as a thing not to be feared or dreaded but the prerequisite for rebirth from which redemption and renewal can arise. While similar, they are different. Basically https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueyLBbWPPQM
  11. Life in death and death in life, innit? The whole cyclical aspect of life and death, not just death. Just death of everything is more like Rymrgands thing, innit? wait a minute..isn't she the god of death only? where does it say she is death and life ? "Berath is depicted in the form of two semi-skeletal figures - one male, one female - Bewnen i Ankew and Ankew i Bewnen - literally, Life in Death and Death in Life in the Glanfathan tongue" Literally from an in-game book about Berath. "The Many faces of Berath" life in death and death in life...what's that even mean ?! Confusing! weird when you pick berath you only get this : "Berath is the god of death, doors, and the wheel of reincarnation itself. Portrayed as either a genderless deity or twinned male and female incarnation, Berath seldom speaks with their followers. Their priests are expected to be rational and unemotional, treating death with a dispassionate dignity." which seem to go 'Berath is about death! deaaaaaaath always death! Honestly, it feels that both Berath and Eothas are a BIT redundant. They both deal with life and death and the whole cyclical rebirth nonsense, the main difference being that Berath is life and death but MOOOOSTLY death and Eothas is life and death (death in the form of Gaun, i guess) but MOOOOOSTLY life.

  14. ''I cannot plant a seed in untilled soil'' . That translate to me as 'enter in a relationship in a world (Untilled soil) that's chaotic (with others faction) . ''I say there are places they cannot go'' as in they can spy on me , in my palace and everywhere else save for in my heart . At least that's how I see it . I prefer to think of them as sexual innuendos.
  15. Pale white skin Black Hair Undistinguished age outside very old Stoic and impassable Has a thing for bells, chimes and wearing all black and I suspect, going by Magran not recognizing Durance because his soul was damaged, that gods see people via their soul... *cough*Grieving Mother*cough* Though, doesn't she prefer Hylea's choice for the Hollowborn instead of Berath's? Grieving Mother is the best though.
