Huh...that kind of looked terrible. I'm optimistic about it. I'd have prefered the game to be voice acted but I liked the gags in the trailer as well as the art style and I've enjoyed much lower budget indie adventures in the past. Besides even some of the better adventure games like Wadjet Eye's stuff usually look a bit bland in trailers but they tend to be fantastic stories which is what I'm hoping for with Randal's Monday. Who doesn't love a good Groundhog's Day story?

What? I haven't been keeping up to date. I was thinking that the Wii-U was like an upgraded wii with nunchuck and that it would be a good control setup for the Metal Gear with Raiden. Then I remembered a picture of the Wii-U gamepad and assumed it was a handheld console. Looking it up I can see now that this is not the case.

Nevermind, I just remember that the Wii-U is a handheld and not the equivalent of a Wii 360

I think it's more of a work and resources issue than the belief that humans would be that special, but most of the playerbase will be human, they need an excuse in-game for why humans are different and everyone likes feeling special right?.

Here's another Space Hulk article written by a far less lazy writer than Alec Meer . And also what Spider said.

I imagine the point is that Valve want to start selling console games to console gamers through Steam even if it means they have to release their own console with Steam onboard to do it. And Steam sales on console titles by itself would be pretty good reason for console gamers to go out and buy a Valve console.

Okay, maybe it's just me then.

I think Casey said in an interview that James Vega was added to the roster for players who hadn't played the last two games, as he was as new to everything as the player might be he could ask a lot of the questions Shepard wouldn't have reason to. Vega isn't badly written or acted or anything, he has some great lines and fits well with the rest of the companions. I think if the game had been longer people would have got more use out of him and he'd be more popular.

So when did Spiderman get absorbed into The Venture Bros. universe? That would actually be awesome, someone needs to make that happen. I have my answer for what Spiderman game I'd play.

I thought Varric could turn on you during that quest it's just that it's not easy to get a low approval rating with him?

SquareEnix own both the Deus Ex and Hitman franchises. It's just a character costume and another pistol and they can only be used in the non-campaign free play mode, nothing major as far as I can tell. Seems a shame not to do a crossover level DLC where 47 is up against augmented enemies, bots or Adam but oh well.

I think personally I side with convenience over grandure, walking all the way there and back is one of my most hated activities in RPGs.

This actually is nitpicking but The Sopranos wasn't a movie either. Currently watching seasons 1-5 of Stargate Atlantis on DVD. Every episode has a director's comentary track, I know most people never watch those but I love them so it's a huge bonus for me.

It's also worth noting that the plot from the original Witcher and the save file you carry over don't really impact the sequel at all..Only a couple of conversations mention your choices in Witcher 1 and are only mentioned in passing. In fact some of the major choices you may have made in the last game will be retconned in Witcher 2. -
They're not really QTEs though, they're so easy that you'll never fail which removes the frustraition of retrys and they never last long enough to be much of a bore. They just add a tactile sensation when your character struggles with something/someone, I don't know if the game would be better or worse without them but they work well enough. Also, I bought Max Payne 3 and it's nearly 30 gigs in size. What the hell?

I don't know if this site would be any used to you Tale but Writing Excuses cover a wide, wide range of things and seem to know what they're talking about

I thought the thing about disabling/disconnecting House was that you were killing him because he was so old and frail that he couldn't survive long after his body was reanimated.

Oh dear, is it opposite day already? Yeah sorry, bad joke. I'd hoped to edit over it before anyone read that. -

I've been replaying NWN2 lately and I'm finally trying my hand at creating a module or two. I've always wanted to but I've either been too busy or too overwhelmed by all the tools and coding. I'm going to make things a bit easier on myself by recreating an adventure from a 2nd edition board game. It's going pretty well so far, I've managed to do a few basic things like create a companion and link a couple of areas together. It's nothing special I know but it's a nice feeling to actually see things like a guard on patrol or an area trigger working as intended. Also, despite what some people have said recently I'm really digging my replay of NWN2. I find the UI and the AI settings such as auto-loot make the game much more convinient to play that the infinity engine games. -
Is the trilogy just a re-release or will their be any cosmetic improvements or anything to the older two games?
