I was quite envious until a picture came up of some old naked dude getting an autograph from two women sitting at a table. God help you sir, what is seen cannot be unseen.

This was another match where I was saved by luck rather than skill. Melkathi's defence was very good and I was moving the ball up the pitch at about one square per turn for the first half, which is quite bad if you're playing Khemri as they're one of the slowest teams in the game. At turn 7 Melkathi managed to get into the cage a knock down the ball carrier, making it impossible for me to score at that point. I got extremely lucky with a large number of blocks on turn 8 and Mel spent the second half with just over a third of his team in the injury box and as if that wasn't bad enough the game gave me a blitz kickoff result allowing me a free turn to get to the ball before he could do anything. As Melkathi said, I've probably used up all of my good fortune for this league. I'm absolutely certain if it weren't for the injuries he would have run circles around me in the second half.

Speaking of which, when would be a good time for you Melkathi?

What I found interesting is that in a lot of cases, the "nonlethal" version was incredibly much more traumatic and nasty then just killing them. I'm not sure if it was deliberate but they seemed to take a few norms with games and run completely counter to them. The effect lethal/non-lethal playthroughs have on the ending is an example because unless you went on a killing spree, the non-lethal solutions tend to be despicable by comparison to a straightforward assassination and you'd think that would be the path that leads to a sadistic personality. It's also surprising how stealth is much easier than combat (to the point of making the game less fun imho). Apparently you can import your save file over to the DLC and it effects things which is pretty neat.

You can use EMP grenades to bypass locks and computers if you invest a few points into sabotage. It gets a tad expensive but won't totally wipe out your savings.

To be fair the only reason Walsingham didn't win that match outright was because of unlucky dice rolls at really inopportune times. He broke into gaps in my cage more than once and a few near- certain Amazon touchdowns were ruined by a bad pickup or dodge roll.

Guys we do this every time Valve are about to make an announcement. Why is this time likely to be any different? This is not the first time there has been a mystery announcement with a '3' in it. I'm not saying it's impossible but I don't believe it.

Takedown is out today too, I'm quite tempted.

Jesus will arrive before Half-Life 3 does.

The bundle includes Legendary Edition but I don't think that's compatible with Chaos Edition which is the version that the league has been hosted under. It's like having the wrong expansion pack.

Sooooooo, this still happening?

SotHR and Dark Omen were both amazing and Mark of Chaos was also very good. The hand crafted battles will be missed in the W:TW version but the TW style campaign map is as much a pro as a con, people love the TW games for a reason. Creative Assembly could surprise us and do a campaign more like the older games though. Also don't forget multiplayer which has a lot of potential in this instance, it may end up getting as much or more focus than the campaign if they're going to really dive into the whole Warhammer on the PC experience.

With any luck the problems with Rome's release will spur CA onto making Warhammer: Total War even better than it would have been otherwise. Because let's face it, Warhammer is going to be the ultimate Total War setting and all others will pale by comparison.

I always loved the banter between Roman and Niko.

Facebook games that are actually interesting?
Serrano replied to Starwars's topic in Computer and Console
The Dragon Age facebook game was supposed to be quite good. If you're looking for browser based games as well with story then you might want to take a look at Masq and also Emily Short's interactive fiction (even if you don't usually go in for text adventures these tend to be quick, very well written and creative) Glass is a good one to start with. -
I had the day off and spent most of it sleeping. Good times.

Sure, I can trade you a key for Civ5 if you like?

Taken from a guide; Overview: Necromantic are the less strong more speedy version of the Undead team. They have immoveable Golems instead of Mummies and sacrifice two of the Ghouls for Werewolves. Both player types are great, the Golems can really tie up players and slow down cages as well as blocking paths against weaker teams. The Werewolves are more resilient than a Ghoul and are great Blitzers taking out players regardless of their armour. Amongst all the more hard hitting teams, they are probably one of the worst at caging initially. They lack either the strength or the initial hitting skills that other teams of this type have. This may prove to be a challenge to deal with as perhaps their play style may involve more of a cross over to a faster running play than a more straight forward hitting style. For beginners I don’t think they are the best team for the reasons outlined above. Along with the tricky skills the werewolves start with, I feel that they may prove somewhat too complex for a coach just starting out. Strengths: Lots of Regenerate Cheap Linemen Weaknesses: No Ball Handling Skills Expensive Rerolls
