Those prices could be lower. $10 for a 10 year old game that doesn't come with anything physical and is probably only playable on one machine is pretty steep. Nintendo will make a fortune on this if the Wii sells.

Yours is almost the same spec as mine. The 2800+ means that it runs as fast as a Pentium @ 2.8GHz, although the actual clock speed will be 1.85. Athlons have a different architecture and outperform Pentiums hugely at the same clock speed, especially for games. My guess is that you could run NWN2 at medium acceptably on a lowish resolution, but it will probably slow down every now and then.

Was Serpent Isle the first game to have a court thingy? That was one of the best moments of the game. Actually, that game had two court thingies.

I think you can probably run any new game on old drivers, although they wont be optimised for the latest games I doubt the performance hit is too significant.

Is this more love than the druid can handle? Natural Spell is indeed a great addition and the new spells all sound very useful. Even if it overpowers the druid a little, I'd still rather it was them than another class.

Yup should be out on launch day, along with the new druid spells. JE posted on the Something Awful forums that the new spells are all quite uber.

But can you bake your own bread? Actually, that was something Arkane did in their first game and no other game has bettered the cooking in Arx Fatalis since. PC Zone also gave Dark Messiah a good review, mid to late 80s I think, stating that the swordplay was great.

That's an eccentric list if ever I saw one. Shock 2 is placed below Doom 3? The Jaguar AvP gets in but AvP2 doesn't? That game with the haunted village looks spooktastic though, anyone know what console that is?

This isn't really a useful tutorial or anything since there's no commentary and you can't even see the interface but it's interesting to see how fast you can build a decent looking area in the NWN2 toolset. The guy doing it has obviously been using the toolset for some time since he seems a dab hand at the terrain shaping. I've seen plenty of positive reviews of DM as well, I wouldn't write the game off because of one negative.

Clerics already get an animal companion if they want one, they don't need anything else.

Good news for druids - one of the OE devs has confirmed that druids will be getting 9 new spells in the first patch, one for each level, as well as a surprise bonus thingy (my guess - Natural Spell).

Either a new IP or new NWN2 stuff would suit me fine, which is exactly what I think we'll get. I've lost all enthusiasm for Star Wars since I watched Ep 1, but I'd still play KotOR3 if nothing else was available.
