That is where the "added mods" clarifier comes in. He does add in a lot of restored content such additional spoken lines, quests that were left unfinished now finished. As for added powers I haven't come across any with 4.3.

I wouldn't say it destroys the game, but it does change a lot of stuff in the game. I see Wesp's patch to be along the lines of the KotOR2's restoration patch with added mods. The True Patch is good if you just want to play the game as the devs wanted the game to be "as is" when shipped with more bugs being squashed.

Hmmm... I think I might go through Bloodlines again. Downloading mods and fan fixes now... Vampire Bloodlines True Patch: More fixes without modifying the game. Wesp's 4.3 Fan patch that fixes more bugs and restores content but modifies the game a great deal. Hi-Res NPC Pack that I downloaded that is suppose to up the textures a bit on a few NPCs. Histories Revised 2.1 that is suppose to restore the histories of the PC and make them less buggy in gameplay. And of course I got the Widescreen patch as well.

If you are playing the same game over and over and over again it doesn't matter how good the game is. In the end it will just be boring and boring is never good. That is one of the reasons why I don't get the popularlity of the EA sport games. Its just the same game, with updated stats and little graphical improvement, than the last version. Its practifcally the same freaking game. Why pay another $60 for a game you are already playing? Makes no sense. I rather have a good Dragon Age 1 than a good KotOR 3, personally. I don't really consider KotOR 1 or 2 all that original in the first place, bing based on an existing IP. I just can't wait for a truly original game from Obsidian.

Lets see here. Amnesiatic hero joins those who caused his amnesia against big bad guy who was once student, but then gets betrayed by one of those who caused his amnesia, but continues to kill bi bad guy and saves day. Yeah, we seen that a thousand times. REALLY! Okay, the betrayel thing is a Biowarian schtick they have used before (NWN1), used again (JE), and probably reuse again and again (ME and DA). As well as the trial with 5 judges thing (NWN1), which they reused over and over (KotOR and JE), and they will probably use in future games (ME and DA). And the arena fighting idea that they used in KotOR and reused in JE, which I wouldn't be surprised if they use it again in ME and DA. I don't mind games not being overly original but at least don't flaunt the fact you aren't going to be original.

That would be hilarious. I would bring popcorn.

3 to 4 years is just too soon for a new edition. They pulled this sort of crap with 3.5e and now they are doing it again. Expect 4.5e in 2010-2011.
