  1. Obsidian's Alien CRPG. Dragon Age Mass Effect (when it comes to the PC) And that is about it for now.
  2. NWN2? No. Oblivion? On minimal settings.
  3. I only bought NWN1 twice, Volourn, and that is because I gave my original copy as a gift. I have every intention of getting Mass Effect, once it is ported over to the PC. Besides I haven't bashed Bioware since the release of KotOR. Its been YEARS!
  4. Yep. Cheese Danish, Apple Danish, Cherry Danish... Hmm... Cherry Danishes...
  5. The camera is rather straight forward and the load time are pretty short.
  6. Is there a turn base mod for it yet.
  7. I still need to beat this game. It tends to kick my arse quite readily.
  8. I am just surprise someone took my opinion seriously enough to cause that ruckus. I mean, come on now people. I am an unreasonable and opinionated gamer that is more than often contradictory to his own statements, even if I posted them 5 minutes before. However, Alan does make a point on a couple of things. I think I need to go over my games again and revamp my top 10 list. Haven't done that for quite a while.
  9. There was even a 13 episode television series as well.
  10. We are discussing the Witcher. At least its lack of character creation.
  11. In terms of character creation and customization, yes. If I had a game that has Oblivion's character customization with PS:T's style of story telling and detail it would totally knock Fallout 1 out of its perch. The lack of character creation in a CRPG is a major turn off for me now, it wasn't back then. If you guys want to play someone else's character then go for it. You aren't going to convince me to.
  12. That is because it had many strengths that the current bunch of CRPGs lack, but it is still inferior to Fallout 1.
  13. Based on the newer CRPGs I have been playing. Even on the action side of the CRPG genre, Jade Empire and Oblivion allowed you to create your own character.
  14. Don't be stupid. It would be for the different races, and gender, along with the differences in how the NPC converses with your character as well.
  15. Maybe for you, but I have higher standards.
  16. And don't forget the added voice work as well.
  17. Exactly, and that wasw all fine and dandy back then but not today.
  18. I disagree. It was very much focused that you had to be the TNO for the entire plotline to work.
  19. The design style was used quite a bit a decade ago where disc storage and hard drive space for installs were much lower than they are today. Having as much text in PS:T and its design presentation made character customization limited. Imagine if we had NWN2 character customization with the various background feats, races, classes, and such in a game that has as much text and detail that PS:T had for each possible combination. You couldn't fit it on 4 CDs, hell, a DVD would probably be hard pressed. PS:T was a fine game for its era, but that era is long since gone. I expect better out of today's CRPGs than being limited in character creation and choice.
  20. That is why I also placed the AND qualifier, Alanschu. Read the whole post.
  21. And that is why it is the second best CRPG I have played. Also it is also a game made in the 90's. We have somewhat better tech and better designs since then, you know.
  22. Yes. Yes, nice boobies. Can we make our own character or are we stuck with a white haired male with a sword?
