I can't see why it matters if romancable npc's are bi unless their sexuality is part of the actual narrative as it provides the player with more liberty. I also prefer characters to hit on my pc than having to harass them, which is what it feels like to me in a lot of cases. A sequence of hinty convos where one can make it clear to them one isn't interested w/o them making direct passes is obviously preferable, but more work, so failing that just saying no ty is fine.

I did not upgrade to the latest patch, but it triggered alright for me before. Pallegina had -2 with Xoti, Xoti +1 with Gina, asked Gina what she thinks about Eothas, after her rant Xoti instantly initiated the scene. In other news, there is one thing Concelhaut loves. I love that one. And when he worries your eggs will spoil :,)

Ah, I thought you were referring to the "NEMNOK! NEMNOK!" part, before the cultists notice you. Not sure if he approved when I agreed to worship Nemnok later. Though if he does it still looks rather inconsistent and oversimplified, same as Aloth approving of Xoti's religious zealotry because duty. I think it was after I chanted it, but I could be wrong. Aloth also approves of Maia assassinating people cos duty even after stating he doesn't trust the RDC.

I love the concept of romances in games but I'm not too keen on their execution in most cases, including the ones I've done in Deadfire. Tekehu's involves listening to him ramble about his past conquests, one sex scene and that's it - he leaves after the endgame. Aloth's I like, but I dislike having to play a character that bores me to even have the possibility (actually struggling to finish the playthrough). Neither of them have much content and they seem half arsed. The only game romance I've ever really liked was Zevran in DAO.

Steam auto installs it though? Your character has to always pick the most dull / I'm so sensible options as well as acting like that. Mine has resorted to drink because he finds himself so dull xD I think I do- except my character has high Clever this time, maybe he doesn't appreciate rapier wit and insight? I give up, I really do. He can go sulk in a corner. He's not into clever. You can get away with it, but it's tricky :'( -
In retrospect I'd have preferred none of the old companions returned. The vibe I get is that the writers were done with them and would have preferred to create new characters, so I'd rather have seen Rekke, Ydwin & Fassina as proper new companions. Also I don't think we needed the Watcher to be the main character. For making sense though, Durance does seem the obvious choice.

Yep, I've suspected for a while he's supposed to be like that. Doesn't stop me sighing through my nose about it xD -

Current pro leaden key Aloth likes dutiful and stewardship, dislikes Pride, tradition, irresponsibilty. I think I've come across stewardship three times in the game, so it boild down to dutiful. I'm not sure dutiful should be a disposition for him at all as it suggests a lack of questioning authority a lot of the time when it triggers, and even pro leaden key Aloth questions authority (the whole Leaden Key thing of obeying orders without knowing what their purpose is strikes me as more duitful than traditional). He could have Responsible instead of Dutiful and Progressive instead of or aswell as anti tradition. He could also have worldly, skulduggery/resourceful as positives. Additionally, his pride tag triggers way too often and if a character is going to have so few dispositions, giving them a negative one that triggers constantly is taking it too far. All in all he could have: Resourceful, Responsible, Progressive, Worldy as anti LK positives. Skulduggery, Responsible, Stewardship, Worldy as pro LK positives. His dislikes imo also could do with including misuse of authority/power such as slavery/racism/caste system, with his likes encouraging people who try to challenge those things, though I can't see them going to the effort of changing stuff like that. https://prnt.sc/jsiisu -

Patch 1.1.0 Updates Thread
Slotharingia replied to David Benefield's question in Patch Beta Bugs and Support
Devs, when are you going to address this? Nothing new in the last patch. With stewardship and dutiful still conflictiing with anti tradition imo. He wants people to obey orders real or imagined irrespective of validity unless it can be pinned on tradition? Two crappy things he likes, 3 things he doesn't like, with his interpretation of "pride" often being debatable. EH! He should have progressive instead of anti tradition (at least if he's anti leaden key), responsible instead of dutiful and irresponsible. skulduggery/resourceful and worldy also wouldn't hurt.
