Random dragon encounters in Skyrim and their frequency was such a poor design choice. But I will never forget my first dragon encounter (not counting the first 2 scripted ones). It was a dark narrow mountain pass and it started snowing heavy, I was low level so it was difficult and long. In that moment it was magic. There is much Skyrim got right, too bad the soulless writing squanders that potential. Anyway. I just can't get excited for DA:I right now. Not interested it either the main plot or any of the party members. Morrigan and Flemeth is probably the only thing I find mildly intriguing.

And soon the dragons' constant presence will become repetitive and annoying...

The biggest difference is that guns have recoil and the damage model is changed. Alyx? Sure. You can use the original model with the mod though. But hey, it's something different and I've played the original many times.
