I selected Priest as weakest subclass only because obsidian nerf priest bufs so much that I can't build good martial build with it, but caster Priest still can do very huge damage. Multi-class priest is suck but when Priest hit L7 then things change: * All L7 - L9 Priest spell is duration AOE Spells, i.e all of them hit targets multiple times * All L7 - L9 Magran priest spell has Fire keyword, if you know what I mean (Rings, Pets, Weapons) * All Priests has (Barring Death's Door + Salvation of Time) combination which works very well with Death godlike and only priest can safely chain for 2 min potion of last stand and combination above * Priest AOE Spells target only WILL, REFLEX and .... DEFLECTION did someone know how much spells can target deflection ? :D Why no one write how much pure Priest can stack power level ? 9 Base + 1 Talent + 3 Death Godlike + 4 From Weapon + 1 From Pet + 2 From Potion = 20, HOLY **** 10 PL for all TOP TIER spells, you can melt even Ukazio without Empower. With Empower you can reach 25 Pure Magran Priest the strongest DPS build in the game, but who cares :D

https://youtu.be/DTnHjN5u8XM 1. Kill Ilkari for cloak 2. Kill 3 guard in port maje for the ring 3. Take Xoti hatchet, armor and potion 4. Sell your soul for the good luck or play in party How this work: 0. Pull enemies with poison trap, leave from their aggro radius, wait few seconds, and start fight 1. Cast empowered Chill Fog 2. Cast `Sworn Enemy` on Fighter 3. Slowly go to barrels 3.1 You should walk near mage to make him cast ray of fire 3.1.1 When your amulet activated you will has something like 30s with very high damage reduction 3.1.2 Drink potion 3.2 All your enemies should stay in empowered chill fog until it's duration end 3.3 Don't do anything, just drink potions and wait until enemies DPS die 4. Cast Sworn Enemy on second Fighter 5. Drink potion of shield, before paladin buff end 5. Wait until remain fighters interrupt you, and when their recovery starts cast Chill Fog second time 6. Found one who currently blinded and has less HP, and cast Full attack skill 7. Kill them Range deflection stacking: Paladin 8 + Small shield 4 + Resolve 5 + Cloak 5 + 2 Ring + 3 Drug (Resolve) = 27 Melee deflection stacking: Paladin 8 + Small shield 4 + Resolve 5 + Cloak 5 + 2 Ring + 3 Drug (Resolve) + 8 Dagger = 35 Melee DW deflection stacking: Paladin 8 + Hatchet 3 + Resolve 5 + Cloak 5 + 2 Ring + 3 Drug (Resolve) + 8 Dagger = 34 Armor stacking against pierce + slash: Xoti armor 7 + Paladin 4 | Potion 3 = 10 .. 11 Damage reduction stacking: 15% from food + 25% from amulet = 37.5% for first part of the battle Accuracy: 9 Perception + 3 Drug (Perception) + 7 Human (When bloodier) = 19 Debuff stacking: Blind (-10 ACC, -5 Perception, -10 Deflection) + -10 (Acc from Hatchet) AOE Damage: 70% From PL + 15 From Human. AOE Duration: 15 Int + 3 Int (Drug)

I think this is near certain. Obsidian showed in the past that designers don't understand the programmer's math or simply how some mechanics worked. Some examples: - PoE: Josh didn't understand (during a stream) that a bashing shield usually resulted in less dps than having a normal shield. :D

You can also get +1 armor if you kill captain near quest house and x2 brigantine, if you kill guards near wagon

I had another idea, Paladin/Wizard :D 1. Small shield + Dagger + Pal passive will give you +20 deflection against melee and +12 against ranger targets | -acc from blind affliction make crit's never happen 2. Take Xoti armor + Pal with +4 armor, will give you 11 armor and 50% damage reduction for slash/pierce damage 3. Dagger + Xoti hatchet + Pal passive will give you +19 deflection against melee 3.1 Hatchet modal give -10 deflection debuff from modal + -10 from blind affliction this will help kill tough guys when fight ends 4. Pick Human to additional DM bonus and +7 acc 5. As paladin you will do +25% from passive and +20% from favorite enemies, +15% possible from human I don't now if this legal for your play-though: One guard in port maje has ring +2 deflection, can I kill him ? Friendly Guy in G. Street has cloak of minor deflection +4, Can I kill him ?

201 with shield and 169 with DW (I assume that 139 without Buff), 17 armor and all that defenses mixed with Rogue offensive skills and Paladin healing, insane But still didn't match Arcane Knight efficiency against multiple targets, I'm not sure if you can constantly make Dragons take stealth attack bonus Did you already try it solo on DD, I assume that only Dragons can hit you with maxed buffs :D I completed first solo PoE run with defensive pal. build, but in PoE pals lack of offensive, now with multi-classing they look like tank monsters

Huh, I can't repeated my achievement xD Maybe today is not my day or maybe I done it with attributes blessing ? I tried at least x20 times and don't want to spend more time on gambling. But I prepared video to show you what I mean by good LUCK. I forgot to show my difficulty screen, but you can just compare enemy defenses with yours https://youtu.be/bynCauTF_TA

I will upload video, don't worry :D I tested it and on normal PotD you need only enough luck, because fighter has very high fortitude :D
-
If you have enough LUCK you can try to do it SOLO, take Druid/Wizard, go from another map side, put trap, pull everyone, EMPOWER Chill Fog, Cast shield, goto Bear form, cast Touch of rot, if you kill all archers/mage/rogue run to corner where only single fighter can attack you, take DW daggers or Single & Brigantine & Xoti Shield potion, kill them 1 x Empower AOE 2 x Normal AOE 3 x Health wave if you picked moon godlike 1 x Amulet that reduce incoming damage by additional 25% 14 - Armor You also need drug that increase your accuracy :D You can also kill Eder to loot his armor, but then you lose x3 health potions

Yep, I incorrectly managed aggro, they should aggro on my godlike, but I used lighting strike to early I done this fight 2 time, one before recording and one with, with same strategy Very nice! Dat stealth pull is next level and the sickened is huge for aoe -5 con. I thought goldpact and/or pets might work very well too because +4 armor early on is so crazy and having more targets to split incoming dps is obviously great. Wanted to try it with skeletons tho since they should be pierce immune (and a bunch of skeles with big head mode should look hillarious ) Good stuff! +4 Armor is really good, but they didn't aggro on me :D I'm not sure about skeletons because bows has 2 damage type and only Arquebuse has pierce. You can try Druid/Paladin this class can stack 12 - 16 armor and cast empowered corrode AOE spell

Paladin/Ranger L2, I don't use bombs and no-one die, everything else pretty same, I prefer rogue/fighter for eder The tactic very simple, put trap, wait until 3 archers come near it, attack with Godlike, kill archers + mage + rogue, distract last one wit lion Without DD mod all archers die with single full attack ... Fight: Equipment/Difficulty

Min-max suggestions :D Yep, you don't need Eldritch Aim (it's too short) pick instead Monastic Unarmed Training and Chill Fog in First Level For gloves I suggest to bracer of greater deflection For cloak, cloak that scale with history or if you don't like history cloak that give you +10 to all defenses except deflection For ring: 1x ring minor protection x1 ring that give you +2 defense to each fighting enemy For armor: There exist top tier armor https://pillarsofeternity.gamepedia.com/Gipon_Prudensco Just pick bear fortitude or sneak reflexes instead of Wall of Draining, you don't have time to cast it) :D Llengrath's Safeguard instead of Martial Caster (+5 Armor, +20 all defenses) Ryngrim's Repulsive Visage instead of combat focus (help's alot vs melee guys) Arcane Veil instead of Merciless Gaze (For early game this is must have spell) Arcane Reflection instead of Rapid Casting (Help against ciphers) Confounding Blind instead of Gouging Strike (Lower deflection more crits, more crits more damage as streetfighter)
