I find that I rarely run out of time, except on 5-4, although I think it gets a bit easier once you've got a few skill feats and some better cards. As mentioned already Augury is a wonderful card, as is the Revalation Quill. Seelah is a great character to use if you find you are running out of time because of her Ceaseless Crusade power, which can effectively eliminate up to two-thirds of a location deck. Also, if you aren't already, spread out your characters as soon as you have closed two locations so that you can defeat the villain as soon as you encounter them. Finally, there are a series of strategy articles by Shannon Appelcline on the Paizo website which you might find useful. They were written with the tabletop game in mind but are mostly applicable to the digital version as well: http://paizo.com/paizo/blog/tags/adventureCardGameStrategy

I am sometimes, although seemingly not always, able to use a weapon to add dice to the diplomacy check to defeat a Leng Spider. It seems to be most common when a character plays a weapon then Seelah plays a Blessing of Iomedae. Sometimes the game reverts the combat check to a diplomacy check without removing the weapon. I have a screenshot, which I will try to add later. Playing on fully up-to-date iPad Air 2.

Playing on Hard difficulty on iPad Air 2. Party was Lem, Valeros, Lini, Seelah. Playing 6-2, The Road through Xin-Shalast, every time I encountered a henchman, I was first forced to fight a summoned Leng Spider. On three occasions Lini encountered the Leng Spider and failed the combat check. In all cases the damage was dealt to Lem, twice in immediate succession. On two of those occasions Lem was at a different location. In these cases Lini was transported to Lem's location when she ended her turn. On one occasion Lem used Mirror Image to avoid taking damage, which worked as normal the first time then brought up a d4 in the circle used when the game is making a roll to e.g. increase the difficulty of the check. Nothing happened and I had to cancel the use of Mirror Image and take damage. I also found one of the Leng Spiders in the Mountain Peak deck later on, apparently having been shuffled into the deck when I failed to defeat it. Also, when Valeros encountered and defeated a Warden of Runes at the Heptaric Locus, Ghlorofaex was summoned as expected. However, after failing the Dexterity check Valeros took no damage and was not offered the opportunity to close the location. I've beaten this scenario on Hard in the past and don't remember any of this happening...

Question about death
Assussanni replied to bleedthefreak's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
I think you need to replay the adventure with her and beat it without her being defeated. She should then get the reward for both that scenario and for completing chapter 3, unlocking her prestige class. -
Patch 1.2.6 Preview: Pathfinder on PC!
Assussanni replied to Aarik D's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: Announcements & News
There are new scenes for each Haunt in Foul Misgivings (2-3)! Hadn't seen this listed anywhere. I enjoyed them, thought the artwork was pretty cool. Are there any other updated/new story scenes in the latest patch? -
That is strange! Since Kyra doesn't have an exclamation mark over her I'm guessing her deck is complete? Does anything show up if you hit "View All"? And if you hit "View All" is there anything odd in Merisiel's deck? I'm afraid I don't have more to offer than that, but you could try contacting support@obsidian.net. I'm sure they'll be able to sort it out.

Got Dice?
Assussanni replied to Flounder's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Don't worry, I'm still here! If nothing else this competion taught me how to take screenshots with my iPad, which I didn't know how to do before. You guys make learning fun ;-) -
I had what I thought was a similar thing happen, but after your update maybe it is different. Scenario 4-4, Lem at the Desecrated Vault encountered Seleval and was able to reveal his Deathbane Light Crossbow +1 for 1d8+1 and recharge a Troubadour for 1d6 on a combat Dexterity check. I wondered if this happened because the Troubadour was a valid card to play if Lem had attempted the Divine (Charisma) check to defeat rather than the Combat check.

Challenge rewards
Assussanni replied to Kortuse's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Only the Weekly Challenge rewards need to be picked up; when a Daily Challenge is completed the gold should immediately be added to you account. This definitely isn't well explained in the game... in fact I'm not sure it's explained at all! -
Got Dice?
Assussanni replied to Flounder's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
I'll occupy third (last) place for now, with a 113. Also using four characters because I didn't want to break up any of my existing parties. -
Hello! This is the forum for the App version of the Pathfinder Adventure Card game, so you may not find the answers you're looking for here. Now If it was a 3.5e or 4e Psion I may be able to help... However, you could try asking here: http://paizo.com/paizo/messageboards/paizoInc/pathfinder/pathfinderRPG/advice Or maybe checking out this online resource: http://zenithgames.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/the-comprehensive-pathfinder-guides.html Good luck finding what you need and if you enjoy Pathfinder/Fantasy RPGs/co-operative card games then check out the award-winning Pathfinder Adventures, available on iOS and Android.

I've noticed both this week and last week that my Weekly Challenge progress bar is incrementing as soon as my Daily Challenge progress updates for the first time each day, and not when the Daily Challenge is completed. For example, my Weekly Challenge bar will go from 2/4 to 3/4 after I bury the first card in the Shovel the Cards challenge rather than the last. This appears to be a display issue only. Last week I reached 3/3 on the Weekly Challenge, I only completed two Daily Challenges, and I was not offered the Weekly Challenge Reward to pick up. Playing on an iPad Air 2, iOS 10.2.1, Pathfinder Adventures 1.1.6.4.3 Edit: force closing the app and reopening it corrects the displayed Weekly Challenge progress.

Scenario: 6-4 Assault on the Pinnacle (normal). Party: Ezren, Harsk, Valeros, Lem. Game state: Throne Room, Thassilonian Dungeon, Leng Device closed. Harsk at Runewell, Lem at Prison, Ezren and Valeros at Mountain Peak. Valeros's turn, about to encounter Most High Ceoptra (found earlier by Harsk). The turn: Valeros draws Most High Ceoptra. Lem and Harsk successfully temporarily close their locations. Valeros hands the first combat check off to Ezren. Ezren attempts to play Disintegrate. Attempts and succeeds on Arcane 15 check to play spells. Reveals Staff of Hungry Shadows and discards Haste... Expected behaviour: add 1d8+2 to Ezren's arcane combat check, as per Staff of Hungry Shadow's first ability. Actual behaviour: presented with "roll to decrease difficulty" by 1d12+4, as per Staff of Hungry Shadow's second ability. Roll 8, play passes back to Valeros who is presented with a difficulty 12 combat check for which he is only allowed to use his Arcane skill (can't change skill from drop-down box, can't play weapons). Aftermath: Valeros succeeds at check thanks to blessings. Presented with next combat check, difficulty 32, with no option to pass the check off to Ezren. Possibly related to the behaviour reported in this thread: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/90829-powers-that-reduce-the-difficulty-progression-block/?hl=%2Bhungry+%2Bshadows

Quest Mode Reminder
Assussanni replied to Ethics Gradient's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
My assumption (and this is pure speculation on my part) is that the reason that Quest mode is going away is because the devs do not have sufficient time/resource to port it over to the upcoming PC version and make sure it works correctly, and that they do not want to release a PC version which has fewer features than the mobile version. Otherwise, I can't see why they wouldn't just leave it in and not update/support it until they have time to work on it again.- 17 replies

This also happened to me the previous time I played through this scenario, also on normal difficulty. Party was Valeros, Lem, Harsk, Ezren (in that order). Lem encountered a Warden of Runes at the Temple, fought it and defeated it. Ghlorofaex was summoned and visited Harsk in the Town Square, who fails his check. The Town Square is then emptied and play returns to Lem, who closes the Temple. Next turn is Harsk's, and he is immediately able to attempt to close the Town Square by virtue of there being no cards present. I was using an iPad Air 2, iOS 10.2.1

This also happened to me. In case it helps, I can add that: I completed the previous day's challenge to collect 5 allies. I completed the "Local Heroes with only Lem" challenge the last time it was available. Local Heroes was the last scenario I had completed using Lem in Story mode, but I had completed other scenarios with different characters in Story mode since then.

Prayer of Norgorber
Assussanni replied to Assussanni's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
It appears as though I lured it out by posting about it here, it turned up in the Blessings deck during the very next game I played! It still doesn't show up when I look in my Vault though, so I guess it's just a minor issue with the Vault display. Thanks again for the replies. -
Prayer of Norgorber
Assussanni replied to Assussanni's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Thanks for the reply! Sadly the card still isn't in my vault, even after restarting. Hopefully it will turn up during play at some point. -
Just to add that this bug is still present in the latest build (1.1.6.4.1) along with the ability of Wand of Enervation to reproduce reported in previous threads - easily found by searching these forums for "Wand of Enervation". I just ran into this again and Amiri now has three Wands of Enervation...

Here's what I did: 1) Barbarian: Str primary, Wis/Con secondary. Juggernaut for Thick Skin. Blessings, Ally, Items. 2) Bard: Dex primary, Cha secondary. Virtuoso for Solo Performance. Max Bardic Performance. Spells, Blessing, Items. 3) Cleric: Str primary, Wis secondary. Exorcist with Dawnflower's Favorite. Weapon, Spells, Item, Ally. 4) Druid: Wis primary, Str secondary. Wild Warden for max Animal Trick. Spells, Weapon, Blessing, Allies. 5) Fighter: Str primary, Dex secondary. Weapon Master for Weapon Supremecy. Blessing, Allies, Items. 6) Monk: Dex primary, Wis secondary. Drunken Master... is less bad than Zen Archer? I like Dodge though. Weapon, Blessings, Allies, Items. 7) Paladin: Str primary, Wis secondary. Hospitalier for max hand size. Blessings, Spells, Allies. 8 ) Ranger: Dex primary, Con secondary. Sniper for Miraculous Dexterity. Blessing, Allies, Items. 9) Rogue: Dex primary, Str secondary. Acrobat for Evade. Inspired Dexterity. Weapon, Blessing, Allies, Items. 10) Sorcerer: Cha primary, Int secondary. Either role (I went Celestial). Max Resistances. Spells, Blessings, Ally, Items. 11) Wizard: Int primary, Wis secondary. Illusionist for Mind Trick and Refocus. Spells, Allies, Items. I agree that some characters are more obvious than others. To be honest, with the card feats as long as you don't pick Armor you'll probably be fine, and with the skill feats as long as you max your primary attack skill you'll be fine. After that Wisdom is probably the most useful for closing locations, followed by Intelligence and Dexterity. Someone had a very good list of the power feats with opinions in a Google document, you should be able to find it if you search the forums for "Roles".

Prayer of Norgorber
Assussanni posted a question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I opened a chest and received a "Prayer of Norgorber" card. However, it doesn't appear in the Vault. In fact it doesn't even look like there is a slot with a question mark for it in the Vault. It had full art (golden chalice with skull at the top) and rules text (if you use it to boost a roll to acquire a boon and are alone at your location you can recharge it instead of discarding it), so it looks like a legitimate card. I think it was deck 5 or 6? Is this a card which shouldn't be available or is the Vault out of date? -
What an odd decision! Having put the time and effort into creating something, why remove it from the game when it could simply be left as it is, thereby giving people more content and therefore (presumably) make them more likely to keep playing the game and spend money? Fair enough to either not develop it further or revamp it, but what is the logic behind taking it away? My thoughts essentially echo the sentiments of kurtalb1 and Jaesun above.
