And for all my fellow pillars players:

You deport 3 generations back and 3 generations forth. You don't deport only those who informed authorities about activities of the criminal in their family.HereSo you claim ALL muslims have terrorists in their family and NONE of them will inform about a terrorist to authorities? That's harsh, man. I'm just making fun of you, man.So it's true. Germans have no sens if humor. Not Germans, just me

I hear someone wants to deport all members of a certain religion which his is on the verge of mistaking for a race out of some rise of nationalist ideology? It seems Sharp_one has found the final solution for the Muslim-question! Wonderful.

Hurl... you don't know idioms, don't you remember?
-
"Believe me, the problem IS Islam!" "Believe me, the problem IS Christianity!"

Maybe they look further than the end of their noses? What? You don't know idioms either? Who the hell hires you as a teacher? Flat earth society? there's a very similar saying on german, but are you sure it exists on English?

Security doesn't stop freedom, it protects it. There is no such thing as too much security, can you name an event that has ever had too much security? https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/horizon2020/en/h2020-section/secure-societies-%E2%80%93-protecting-freedom-and-security-europe-and-its-citizens There's no reason for people to fear security unless they're doing something wrong but feel free to prove me wrong. Freedom: I can walk the streets as a free man unless someone has a provable charge against me.Security: I can be hold captive for 12, 24, 48 hours due to mere suspicion Freedom: I, and I exclusively, know what I am doing on the internet. This enables me to dig deep into topics one might consider not according to the status quo. Security: My internet activity is constantly surveilled. Freedom: I can own guns. Security: I can not own guns. Freedom: I can be a communist, a Nazi, an anarchist, etc and proclaim my beliefs Security: I can not publicly propagate for communism, national socialism, anarchism, etc Get the drift? "You have nothing to fear of you do nothing wrong" As long as hierarchy exists, I have to fear, because it means that someone decided what is wrong for everyone else.

Am I the only one who values liberty over security, at least at this point? Our freedom is already being stomped on, and yet you call for even more security?

Much of this is Marxist theory: class struggle and the capitalists tendency to form oligopolies/monopolies. You can't just cast away the correct sides of Marxism by discrediting it through pointing out its flaws in other points (such as for example dialectical materialism (as the article pointed out) or the labour theory of value), doing that is a logical fallacy in itself.

While the Nye video pretty much represents society ruled by its base desires instead being in control of them, i find the bolded part more interesting. Tell me more about this, what kind of university did you attend where people talked like children?Ben is not yet in university Indeed. But I am flattered you assumed So four years ago, we're talking ages between 11 and 12. Ah, oh dear, the fire of righteous youth is strong in you. Oh how you will laugh at your former self when you are 33, married, in debt and a child on the way. I think that will be justified

a red state indeed.

I think this is a Suitable response. Val, I would say you are like a sixteen year old, but to be honest, you remind me more of my class four years ago. Whenever someone would even say "sex", "****" or, god forbid, "vagina" everyone would scream "eeeeeeeeewwwwww", end of the conversation. People have sexual fantasies. It's a thing. People want to live these sexual fantasies. That's a thing too. And a good one. EDIT: censoring p€nis but not vagina? Really?

Let's get a little philosophical. To you, what is freedom?
-
Didn't read it either. I was too cought up in my on reality where people are decent to each other.

Wrong thread mate. Should be in alternative facts. http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017/05/15/mcmaster-wapo-classified-info-story-is-false-i-was-in-the-room-it-didnt-happen/ So, the investigative reporters found one explanation, and Breitbar newspaper, an other. And Breitbarts debunk is half a paragraph. And Breitbart has obvious ties to Trump. Are we supposed to belive you?

And how's that different from now? You will always have worse/cheaper products for lower income and better/expensive products for high income. That's not even the question, and if you think it is you don't know life. The question is - will the "worse medical treatment" on free market be better than "worse medical treatment" in socialistic model. The answer is and always will be - free market is better. Are you claiming that the poor in a strictly capitalist economy has better healthcare than the poor in a strictly socialist economy? My friend, history seems to prove you wrong: hardcore conservative Bismarck had to implement some degree of free health care in order to not have the poor support the communists. Adam Smith himself, if I remember correctly, supported governmental healthcare (or welfare generally, I'll have to search through the texts when I'm home). Your line of thought is: "Humans have produced free market health care, therefore, free market healthcare is humane". Following your logic: Humans have invented torture, therefore torture is humane. Do you see the problem? Or is there something I'm missing? Because that seems fundamentally wrong.
-
"I'd rather low cost/ low service places like Banfield exist to offer lower income families vet care than have the Government screw the whole thing up with program and price regulation that ruins the free market economics it does have" Do you realise what you are saying? You just justified giving low-income-households, so the largest amount of the population, worse medical treatment. And you justified this based on a vague mathematical model. Do you really consider that humane treatment?

Much more importantly, two people who take it seriously

America is a representative republic; not a democracy (thankfully). In republics it is normal for representatives to be among the higher ups in a society. Why would you want an incompetent to represent you? Also, Trump is a billionaire, not millionaire.1. a billionaire is also a millionaire2. You seem to confuse democracy with the common stereotype of anarchy. Which is chaos. 3. Indeed, America is a republic. Now, the word republic stems from the Latin res publica ("thing of the people", usually translated with "state"). 4. You draw a very interesting correlation between wealth and ability. Indeed, the rich are extraordinarily gifted exploiters. There are few people so successful at it. Jokes aside, the US is devolving into a plutocracy, a form of government not even propagated by the most hardcore capitalists. These people do not represent you, they represent solely and exclusively their own interests and that of their class, assuming they are corrupt. What other explanation do you have to offer as to why this law regarding selling browser data passed? It harms every single citizen. The only ones benefiting are a few business owners. Realise that Americas political system is fundamentally broken.

Been on a Rodin exhibition some time ago and forgot to post about it. Anyway, by far my favourite of his works; the kiss: Don't know if you can tell, but their lips are actually connected.
