  1. Interesting. Unobtainable items suck. Mod or console it is.
  2. I'm feeling a Red Hand scenario from this. Does anybody have any idea where to obtain this unique pike? I've tried Googling, nobody has any idea.
  3. As early as you can get a ship. You just gotta sail there. However, it's guarded by hordes of high level enemies. I think people have posted they have grabbed it at 12 or something. You can probably do it much earlier if you cheese the fights and drop the difficulty.
  4. One-handed can also be used by an Assassin, for even more criticals, though two-handed is more damage.
  5. Unless you're 'main tanking', Streetfighter is the more arguably powerful of the two, but Trickster is imo much more fun to play, since you don't need to worry about being constantly flanked/bloodied. You should definitely play what you prefer, in the end.
  6. Captain's Banquet is definitely amazing, for the other bonuses too, and should be used for any tough fight, but it's expensive and limited. Drugs for regular fights. I just find that playstyle annoying (using consumables in general - I've beaten the game on PotD without using a single consumable, just because). But that's my personal problem. Modwyr offhand is probably the second best option, just as a anti-confusion stat stick? Caroc armor gives up speed and damage, and priest has other things to do or will run out of casts in a long fight.
  7. You keep saying this, yet despite many suggestions and feedback there have been no changes made? From what I see, no changes were made based on reddit "feedback" either. The OP is also known for advertising his stream and other social media and donation link on reddit. It's not pure spam - he does have lists, some guides and high difficulty streams. So I think he's genuine. I think he's put some hours in. But in my personal opinion, everything seems just a little off, and the media follow spam gets a little annoying. I think he puts mediocre effort into creating content to try to get some views and money.
  8. A cool and thematic build, but... you just take drugs for confusion? I suppose that's best for optimal play, even if annoying.
  9. Most of the posters on this forum are diehard fans and have more knowledge about the game than anywhere else on the net. Combine that with the fact that tier list discussions are always volatile with a lot of differing opinions, and you're presenting yourself as an authority when you clearly haven't tested everything you've listed, you really open yourself up to a lot of criticism.
  10. The problem with all this guy's lists is that he's probably only used like 20% of the items, and he only has a very simple, straightforward builds in mind, so any unique item that could be very well utilized in a unique builds gets dropped to the bottom of the list, since he has only cookie-cutter builds and limited experience.
  11. I wonder what this forum thinks about your Whispers of the Endless Paths as the first ranked S-tier weapon. I called it trash already (well, it's B-tier in reality imo).
  12. Casita Samelia's Legacy is sometimes the MAIN armor I see on tanky builds here, even over Devil of Caroc breastplate. That makes it at least A-tier.
  13. The spells granted by Amira's Wing work with melee damage bonuses. That means you can see some 200+ damage Wilting Winds, iirc. It's a gimmick build, but can be used as a secondary/stealth opener weapon by a Rogue.
  14. You already posted these on reddit a few weeks ago, right? Like already said, Rust's Poignard is S-tier offhand, and Scordeio is still S-tier, especially if you use a Priest to extend the buff when it procs. It becomes EX tier at that point. Squid's Grasp is also an excellent offhand, at least A tier imo. Grave Calling is also actually decent, and I use it as a secondary sabre on some builds that can stack attacks fast. I'd bump it up a tier at least. You can exploit the stacking lash.
  15. Hands up who needed to google Miscibility to make sure it was a real word.
  16. Now comes the best part: I got an answer on my bug report and they say it's intended... Yeah, ROFL with me! Enabling cheats (free enchanting) without disabling achievements by playing around with save data files a little is... intended? Are you ****ing kidding me?
  17. For an Ascendant (and any backline dps), you definitely want light armor or even robes if you have the safety of a party. I ended up using light armor for all of my ranged squishies, as robes felt a little too squishy, and you have ways (pets) to cut some of the armor penalty in this game.
  18. I'd call Ascendant MUCH stronger than a no-subclass Cipher. It's a slightly different playstyle, but ultimately much, much stronger. You're still a caster, you just need max focus before you start casting. But once you do, you don't stop, unlike a regular Cipher.
  19. Does Nalpazca generate wounds when drunk? That'd be amazing. When under drugs, so almost.
  20. For a real solo run, nobody can ever join your party, even for a second.
  21. It's the first dlc, and we get a unique hunting bow with lightning damage and some interesting abilities... reminds you of anything, gents? Anyways, this bow. How good do you think it is? I think it's pretty good. Good enough to make a build for it? Probably. I'm sure loads of people already have. It has elemental damage, lash that scales with Metaphysics, and a crit effect. Seems good enough, right? So, hunting bow builds. Some crit synergy would be great, too. There are a lot of builds that can sort of just slap a bow and go - Frostseeker had a lot of builds from any combination of the Ranger/Monk/Fighter/Rogue pool, with some Barbarian and Paladin even mixed in. Hunting bows, for me, bring into mind Ranger/Devoted. Extra pen is very welcome, extra crit dmg works great with Ranger's accuracy boni, Fighter's hit to crit buffs work great with crit synergy. Modal activated, of course. That's one of the biggest advantages of the hunting bow. Wounding Shot is so cheap that you can easily set the AI to spam it, and use Penetrating Strike against high armor enemies. Seems pretty solid to me. Nothing wrong with Ranger/Rogue, of course. Even more cheap abilities to spam. Sneak attack damage. I wonder how you'd go about it, though. Streetfighter seems annoying to weapon swap into Blunderbuss to activate your subclass, Assassin can definitely work if you use your Guile for invis and Bond for damage, but constant stealthing isn't good for your dps and wouldn't it work better with an arquebus? Something of a 'flavorful' build could be a summoner Chanter. Just to have more minions on the board. So, thoughts, people? How would you make this bow shine?
  22. Point. I was just thinking how well it suits your forum avatar... magic powers, I bet.
  23. Philosopher/Mystic backgrounds probably. As for actual classes? Well... nothing? Wizards have some metaphysial/acrane theory iirc, but no class has anything dimensionalism or god's secrets stuff. We can't even be animancers.
