The problem is that every ancient Sith (the ones who interbred with the original Sith population), not only Marka Ragnos, look similar "stupid". And they have been created in collaboration with George Lucas in person. So I think there is not much freedom to the design process.

Exar Kun likewise explored a tomb on Korriban and was tortured by a ghost. So I really hope that the story isn't an accurate copy from Kun's adventures. On one picture there is a statue wich looks like the ancient Sith Lord Marka Ragnos. Maybe it is his ghost who appoints the PC the new true Dark Lord of the Sith (only if you are DS, of course).

If you agree with his plans he simply uses you to get rid of some rivals. He lies to you! So, whether the Genoharadan circle is exactly the way he is telling you, I doubt...

FOr teh same reason SIDIOUS did not show HIS face.... he wanted to bet eh puppet master and stay in teh background <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is a total different thing. Sidious didn't tolerate another emperor beside him, or did he? That would also be contrary to the Sith codex. Even when he was in the background, he was the one and only Sith Lord master at this time.

I liked the sidequest very much, because the Genoharadan boss was one of the few who played overcredulous people for a sucker. More of such side quests in KotOR2, please!!!

Obsidian has got a new entry in its news list, titled "New Preview of KOTOR 2 Up on The Armchair Empire". The preview itself is very brief and contains nothing new, but the last sentence is the only interesting: Well, believe it or not, it is claimed to be the latest info!

Isn't it strange that T3-M4 and HK-47 (or is it now HK-50?) don't look exactly like they did in Kotor1?And Darth Sion rather looks like a gremlin than like the Dark Lord on the concept arts. BTW the white haired woman (if it's Atris or not) acts as if she's just running into the thick of her opponent's lightsaber.

I think that this is one of the best ideas so far. The Siths have always been the losers in SW history, so, from a logical viewpoint, there must be left some massive power enforcing their downfall. The (foul) alternative is that the Sith kill each other and the Jedi cowardly reappear when everything is over.

I think the box art definitely isn't the original one, because of one or more of the following points: 1. there are no new characters, only those who have already been uncovered by LA 2. "RP"! (ESRB: Rate pending) 3. The masked Sith guy is positioned in the center of the cover (cp. Vader in RotJ) 4. Darth Sion is not in the center 5. "The Sith Lords" (too simplistic font type) 6. Atris and her opponent are copied from another source 7. LA logo is there, but where is Obsidian Entertainment...? 8. the border on the top doesn't look very authentic 9. bad quality 10. last but not least it's extremely stereotype (and ugly)

Why are you so sure about the planets? If the "alien ship" statement refers to what can be seen on one of the screenshots, then I think it looked more like a Republic cruiser with "aliens" onboard.

Though they are referred to as "Sith Fighters" they have been created by the advanced technology of the Star Forge. Where is your problem with that? The Rakatas invented the TIE-Fighter... PS: Did you know, that the "Levithian"-class warships have been originally designed by the Republic...?

Since TOTJ is apparently out of print, is that series where the other non-movie races in KOTOR come from? Like the Selkath or the Cathar or the... well whatever that two-headed, humpbacked merchant in Tattooine hangar was? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The TOTJ had many races, that looked very cool and exotic. But only Cathar have their appearance in KotOR1, if I remember correctly. However in the comics they look different, more like real lions.

For those who don't believe that some of the EU stuff has become canon, I would suggest to take a look into the OFFICIAL SW databank (www.starwars.com). I think every EU character, story and location, that is mentioned here, can be seen as canon. The story of Exar Kun and Thrawn are in it, as so KotOR1. Whether this mix can form a coherent SW universe is another subject...
