  1. So, then let us cross out two of them and it would have to be right...
  2. Jedi vs Exar standoff had a nature of psionic assault. Exar tried to wipe them out with powerful energies created by his sith magic and jedi united by Nomi Sunrider's battle meditation repelled this attack and turn it back on Exar... Agreed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This week I've read the whole "Tales of the Jedi" comics, because they've been discussed so much on this forum. I must say, I can't remember a scene where Exar attacked more than one or two Jedi at once. Though beeing equipped with powerful Sith toys (amulets etc.) he couldn't beat Master Ood on Ossus (for example). And at the final battle on Yavin 4 he even didn't make an attempt to attack the Jedi. His only worry was to save his spirit with some kind of Sith magic. During Exar's ritual the Jedi (still in orbit on their ships) created a massive "wall of light", "a flood that sweeps down to extinguish the corrupted power of the Sith and to stop Exar Kun". I don't want to compare that with Vaders "career", but I think Exar Kun is highly overestimated by some.
  3. @Nur Ab Sal: What planet is shown on the image from your comic gallery? I'm just asking because it has some similarities with the city on this screenshot (execpt for the red sky).
  4. Has somebody an idea whether this is a planet known to the star wars universe?
  5. A contribute to our planet discussion: There is certainly another planet in the game, which looks very different from the ones whe already mentioned here. The planet can be seen in the trailer. The sky is red and the skyline is made up of flat square-edged buildings. PS: Is that structure in the top left corner the Ebon Hawk?
  6. I wonder who is this nasty creature on the screenshots? A skull trained with a lightsaber or even one of the new Sith Lords? On all accounts a wicket contemporary... (screenshots have been taken from the kotor2 trailer)
  7. Chris Avellone says that "six or seven planets" is "kind of an unfair categorization"! From my point of view he isn't only talking about non-world locations (as a starship) but rather about locations you could define as planets but nevertheless aren't. If Dxun for example isn't on the Ebon Hawk's galaxy map, so it isn't a "planet" in this terminology.
  8. Is it possible that they count the planets in a different way? I remember an interview at IGN where Chris Avellone said the following: "locations that aren't really the planets themselves"!! Onderon and Dxun could be counted as one. There is maybe only a quick shuttle trip for a few credits. I think "planet" means that there is a space port where you can approach with the Ebon Hawk. So are there 2 or 3 planets left?
  9. Hey your right man. However I think story writers could find an explanation for nearly everything in order to accredit the "Jolee-Bindo-tribe"-theory. Cheers B)
  10. Terrible or not, that's a matter of taste... Quote taken from the SW database: It is called a "theory", "mystery"... So have there been 100 or two or only one crashed Jedi, who knows? PS: I'd name it the "jedi-crash" theory or the "jolee-bindo-tribe" theory
  11. Why don't you start a separate topic about this? It REALLY makes sense! That would even explain why all of the inhabitants are potential force users. Jolee loved isolated and hostile worlds. I only hope Jolee isn't to old to found his own tribe...
  12. However the devs didn't look at the designs of starships, that have been presented there. So it's not improbable that Coruscant will also have a more modern touch in the game. It is not said, that Nar Shadda is empty, because the Hutts already play a big role in the galaxy at this ancient times. SW database about Nar Shaddaa: Emphasis lies on "Hutt legend" and "eons ago".
  13. OF COURSE, it had nothing to do with it... before Kotor2. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it was more of a question than a statement. I don't know much about Nar Shadda's history, so I was wondering whether it had any significance back then to either the Sith or the Jedi. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dunno, sorry.
  14. OF COURSE, it had nothing to do with it... before Kotor2.
  15. Check your browser! There is nothing wrong with this link. They are scans from the official comic series.
  16. <_< Thanks for the spyware! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> what?
  17. You think it's Iziz, the walled city of Onderon? Where is the wall and do they really have to fear wild beastriders on top of this skyscrapers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It said so in a sreenshot somewhere I don't remember.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The mighty walled city of Iziz, biggest town on Onderon (found somewhere in the www): (any similarities?)
  18. You think it's Iziz, the walled city of Onderon? Where is the wall and do they really have to fear wild beastriders on top of this skyscrapers?
  19. These screenshots look like Nar Shaddaa: Compare the shape of the towers with this art taken from the SW databank: Can we add Nar S. to the list of assumed planets by now?
  20. Don't think they are really weaker because you'll have to play kotor2 both sides without problems. Perhaps, the only force power missing is the ability to deflect DS lighning. For those who think DS is stronger can play the faster and more seductive way. Nothing will prevent them from doing so...
