What do you mean, they blew up the Death Star?
Fenghuang replied to Tigranes's topic in Way Off-Topic
Dudes, that was on like the first episode. I call old hat. -
We're pretty apathetic. You're doing good if you get a 'Whatever.' out of us. Should I buy any of the supplements? The reviews seem to be a mixed bag on whether or not I need them.

It flashes in my toolbar. I don't see the problem, dingies are off, still notice.

? so... i never criticized what he did, i criticized the view itself. his position is that "corporations bad, government good". this is the same liberal/socialist nonsense we get pounded with every day in the media. there's apparently boatloads of corporate propaganda out there, but i have yet to figure out who is propagating it because it sure isn't the media. commercials? maybe a few, but for chrissakes, they're commercials, not news. taks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, I don't have time for news. Give me commercials and cartoons any day.

Actually I just poked around a bit and it looks like the CoC sourcebook is remarkably cheap. I'll order it from Amazon after I get my next paycheck. I'll mess around with setting up a campaign after that.

Yes. +1,000,000 T.O.M.B.S. points. Now see if you can do something about jodo and Eddo.

I'll have to talk to some 'friends' first so as to 'accquire' the relevant source books, but yeah; I'm down with pretty much anything Lovecraft related.

The Ron Man 07: Hey jerk. ConvoKiller87: What? The Ron Man 07: I mean, hey friend. The Ron Man 07: So, are you going to DM? ConvoKiller87: I don't think they want me to. The Ron Man 07: Just tell them it's a pacage deal. If they want me, they have to take you as well. ConvoKiller87: I don't think they want you to either Lou. The Ron Man 07: I'll just tell them it's a pacage deal. If they want you, they have to take me as well. The Ron Man 07: We can't lose! ConvoKiller87: But see, if they don't want either of us to DM it's not really a deal. The Ron Man 07: What are you talking about? They want both of us to DM. The Ron Man 07: I can tell. The Ron Man 07: I see it in their eyes. The Ron Man 07: Wait a minute... Do you just have cold feet? The Ron Man 07: Are you afraid you won't be good enough to DM? The Ron Man 07: Jim, I'm sure you're a fine DM. ConvoKiller87: Okay Lou, I'll go tell them. The Ron Man 07: Ok. The Ron Man 07: Good.

I haven't bought anything published by Dark Horse I've been disappointed with. Then again I'm not really hardcore so much as I pick up TPBs that look neat.

I think she's more of a console hater personally.

The onboard sound on my LanParty board is as good as any soundcard I've ever used. Though it only supports up to 5.1 so I suppose if I ever got a fancier set of speakers I'd need a card. ^_^

You have to ask about the promotion Calax, or at least I did. I got a trainee who wasn't quite up on everything yet. Anyhow, I finished the first volume of the Escapist, beautiful artwork all over, good stories, basically just really awesome. I start on the second one and it goes from the beutiful watercolors and soft pencils and colors in the first one to four color art. Damned fifties and their low budget comics. It's all good though because the first story was f**king insane. It starts off pretty droll, same old Nazis and Communists are going to kill the president and The Escapist has to stop them O NOES! But then Communists save The Escapist from Nazis in the middle of the Cold War. Then Hitler gets resurrected. Then resurrected Hitler gets killed by the statue of Abe at the Lincoln memorial. Then Dr. Megele gets killed by zombies using a dead regiment of SS soldies for string puppets! F**k yeah!

GeForce 4 MX440 64MB - This was an awesome little card despite the MX label. Worth much, much more than what I paid for it. ATi Radeon 9600XT 128MB - Using it right now, a really great card but it's showing it's age.

I want my cellphone to sound like a dialup modem. Just because it'd be annoying. -
You're so reported to the RIAA, what are you thinking, stealing food from the mouths of the musician's kids! For shame. :'(

Volo's from Canada, I take no responsibility.

My family forgot about my birthday and threw together some things at the last minute. This means the present they got me really sucks. Maybe if I was totally old and boring I would've liked it. So's I drove down to the Galleria and went dumpster diving at EB Games and bought some books at the Borders there. Got Squee's Big Giant Book of Wonderful Unspeakable Horrors and the first three Escapist anthologies. Good stuff. Also Calax, you might be interested in driving out to the Borders over there, they're having a promotion right now where you buy three graphic novels or manga books and you get the fourth one free. The cheapest one was supposed to be free, but the girl who rung me up wasn't very big on rules so the most expensive one was. I like. Also EB Games has now lost a lot of my business since they decided to stop carrying Used PC Games (corporate level). Half the reason I made the drive down there was to pick through all the used games, they used to have an absolutely massive PC section used and new and now they've whittled it down to pretty much only new releases and what doesn't sell of the initial order and they don't do the used ones at all. Lame.

I don't see what's so wrong with it. Barter system FTW!

No seriously, I think that a Jedi Academy forum would be a highly valuable asset to this forum.

I can DM on Fridays I think. My 'set' days off seem to be Monday/Friday. Only they're not really set but just fit that way more often than not.

Walsingham's analogy reminds me of a story about my grandfather. He was a proud man, fairly well to do after accquiring the LA County Impound, but while he co-owned it, he still worked in it just as much as anyone else. He did body, the other owner was the head mechanic, and one day after work he went to purchase an anniversary present for my grandmother. He asked to see the diamond rings, and the jeweler, seeing his grease covered hands made a poor assumption that my grandfather was dirt poor and proceeded to break out the 'budget' rings. My grandfather told him he needed to go to the bank to withdraw some money. Shorty he returned with a wad of Franklins the size of my fist, totalling some $20,000. He pulled it from his coveralls and asked the jeweler if he had anything that costed about 'this much' gesturing to the bills. The dumbfounded jeweler explained that they didn't carry anything that expensive (this is the sixties) but something could be made to order. My grandfather told him that sadly he didn't have time to wait on an order and made his purchase at the jeweller across the street. I'm not sure what this has to do with the topic at hand but that's what I get for posting at five in the morning.

I just wanted to use it for parlour tricks.
