  1. Also it's about forty to sixty dollars cheaper than the LG and CE editions dependent upon conversion rate for whatever currency you're looking at.

So Kaftan's the same height as me and I'm still growing?
  3. My car got fixed for free because it was a problem with how the machine shop rebuilt the alternator a couple few months back! I still have no job.
  4. Get it, they're saying the world's in a heap of trouble because of the president's actions! Hahaha, that wacky Newsweek.

THATS NOT THOR! Now thats thor! I will say that up in the foot hills where I live 6 ft is the median height. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  6. Personally I agree with mkreku. I was planning on breaking my longstanding 'wait until at least a year after launch rule' to run out and snap up a Wii. Now I just kind of feel ripped off. No way the hardware in that little box is worth even half what Ninty's planning on charging. I'll buy a PS2 and an Xbox and play some games I've missed I guess.
  7. Shh, don't say that. You'll wake up some of the fanbois.
  8. This idea is I mean honestly, a transformers RPG? Bleh.
  9. Anybody got any idea why Hades is using his Invisible Rabbit account again?
  10. as did I, but I didn't get a card. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  11. I use Wikipedia to fill in the gaps of my knowledge of DC/Marvel's bloated continuity.
  12. Folsom right? I'd be down with that. I do volunteer work in Rancho Cordova when I can so it's in my area now. Darth D.: A job within walking distance would be good and all but I live in roughly the same area as ~Di, which is to say the middle of nowhere. Besides, I'd still need to get down the hill for school. Things are going better now anyway though. The alternator in my car is getting fixed for free since they rebuilt it so recently and I should be able to find another job soon.
  13. S'alright. Now that the initial shock has worn off I'll regroup and find something better. On my list of priorities school that I paid $11k a year for ranks squarely above crappy food service job I don't even make $11k a year at.
  14. Got fired. It was a combination of showing up late during sleep deprived midterms and my car breaking so I couldn't make work Tuesday because I was too busy scrambling for a way down to school.
  15. Mope around and wallow in depression in between trying to find another job.
  16. Do my best to find a new job ASAP.
  17. Multiplayer Freelancer is awesome.
  18. My dad's car busted the exact same day mine did and it's gonna be $800 to fix his.
  19. I just got fired from my job, they called to tell me to drop off my uniform and pick up my last check. Also my car is still broken. Also I may or may not have accidentally gotten involved with someone who's pinned me with felony check fraud, more details on that later; right now I'm worried about the car. I will have approximately $120 to fix the old one or buy a new one. Basically I'm completely and utterly boned.
  20. Awww yeah, livin' it up. All blissful like. MAN THIS BLISS IS SO GOOD!
  21. Grass Valley has quite possibly the worst public transportation in the world. It'd only get me to the next town over before I have to transfer, I'd have to transfer a third time to get in the same city as school. The in town transportation starts running at 8AM and stops running at 6PM. The in town stuff only stops at each stop every hour. (I'm not sure if this is normal as I've never really lived anywhere else but it is inconvenient.) To get to school it'd be quicker to ride a bike as Baley suggested. To get to work it's feasible but only on day shifts, night shifts I'd only be able to go one way.
  22. Kinda feels like really stupid move. I mean, I see it backfiring Bush totally. Though, did they think USA population doesn
  23. Eh, I watched him test it myself and saw the reading on the voltometer. The battery I had in it was from September '01 so at that point in time the alternator did look okay. Not to mention the first problem the car had was the alternator and it had to be rebuilt then, grease on the ball bearing in it dried up and it froze as a consequence. Just got chewed out by my boss over the phone for not being able to make work ("Jim it's always something or other with you. *click*"). Sure I live farther away than anyone save the owner, and sure I drive a POS, and sure I go to school sixtyfive miles in the other direction and I'm cramming as many things as I can into the day, but y'know, god forbid my car break down or I get stuck in traffic because of an accident. Still haven't figured out how to get to school. Oh yeah, today's starting off good.
  24. I was online right after my mom died because it was awkward being with my family because they were all upset and I was calm and collected. Grief is good, it means the world hasn't broken you yet.
  25. You knew it was coming though. That's a plus.
