Someone calling? 1.0b8 features around 2 dozen gamebreaking bugs (browse my reports on page 1 and 10). 4 have since been fixed (source: Mantis). That means there are atleast 20 gamebreaking bugs remaining inside TSLRP. Does this mean it becomes unplayable? Nope. Does it means you have to watch your steps or otherwise you get inrevocably stuck? Yes. Is the HK-factory in reality still a huge mess? Yes. Do I wonder why the TG-testers report minor stuff like that you wrote, instead of the major issues still remaining (and easy to find)? Yes. Apparently Militiades does know about a lot of the unmentioned gamebreaking issues, but hasn't logged them onto Mantis yet, for some reason. So yeah, the "final" release is still pretty far away, and our leak is unfortunately the nearest to "open Beta" we get. And if you don't mind wathcing your step and know all the workarounds for the known issues it is quite enjoyable.

In that rant I failed to report the reason why there is a difference between TG and fixpacks created for ALL recent RPG's (like Vampire: Bloodlines, Arcanum, Oblivion, Gothic III and who knows what else)... You put words in my mouth. I am not saying OE keeps releasing broken games, I just say TSL is a broken game. No-where in my response did I mention about a lack of quality in other OE titles (being NWN2).

And Half-Life is indestinguisably linked to Counterstrike. Did Valve sue their @ss off? Nope; wait... they hired the guys. Odd for such a fame-rippers. I mean clearly no-one remembered the original game, right, right? Modders fix stuff designers break. Gothic 3, Oblivion, Arcanium, Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Wesp5 is becoming quite the famous person modifying Troika's work. What seperates TG from all these guys? Please tell me, aside from TSL being more clearly broken then these games...

You serious? You really think OE was all "Oh hey, the HK factory is one week from being finished... LET'S NOT AND RELEASE IT NOW." Do you think they would want to have it such a bugfest as it is? If so please explain me why OE desperately tried to convince LA to have them release a CONTENT PATCH. I mean; if they are perfectly happy with the result; why ask to add more stuff to it. Oh, and call it a patch?

What comes to my mind: * Infinitely Respawning enemies (especially nearby out of impossible locations). Re-seeding a forest map when you leave and reenter isn't bad. * Enemies matching your level instead of the area (Oblivion). * gigantic maps with barely anything on them to do (GTA:SA versus GTA:VC anyone? And that already had huge chuncks nothingness). * Overabundant fed-ex that is back and forth. * Universal Ammo (I look at you DX:IW).

G0-T0 meets HK-47 (alternate)

In response to Jediphile's post it can be assumed that when Revan sended T3 back, he wasn't send for just the exile... -

HK even says: "I believe my master was responsible". -

You mean the DEX upgrade on G0-T0's ship (which is temporary, long live bugs!) or something I have no idea exists in the game?

The shots were done by Revan, who didn't want HK to follow him/her to the Unknown Regions, so shot him repeatingly. The "I am not finished with you yet" is a reference to installing an override, which would then be used on Malachor V to make HK friendly to G0-T0. Like how Goto put such an override in the Remote. -
You can only get the update after fully completing Dantooine and Onderon/Dxun, so that would only make Korriban viable.
-
...for HK. Basically the bonus is useless... it's "reward" is the hilarious convo.
-
Some people think it's "intended", but I am pretty convinced it's a bug. Especially LS people would want tot install something like that, which are likely also the people asking HK not to kill folks.
-
Sadly enough; you cannot implent the update if you asked "stop asking what you need killed".

Hey, if THEY want to play TSLRP in an unfinished state, they should just download that which they want, instead of trying to force TG to release that and doom us others who don't want a bugridden version. Win-win on both sides, no? The "we want release now, how bad can these bugs be?" people get dozens of Black Screens of death (and the occassional CTD) just like they asked for and the patient ones hopefully get it without that, and more importantly: no whining! (so triple-win!)...

You don't happen to use Vista, right? If so, make sure you have Administrator rights, or things like this happen.

*reads both reviews* Okay, have to agree somewhat in the uselessness of said RA3 review, but alot of the complains on it are not purely unbiased either. He's complaining of dumbing down of RTS'es, how zooming was overrated among other "more important functions". Don't want to say much, but my most favorite RTS'es don't contain units with 5 Special Functions you have to manual activate and reward mass-twitchiness like a WarCraft III. And look at that one RTS (name slips my mind) set in WWII that was so popular a few years ago where you controlled a few units that were fully costimisable with items like some RPG/RTS hybrid. And then "Innovation is unwanted". Seriously. Anyways, who ever honestly is making a decision based on a NET review. I don't. Buy a mag, *they* don't suck as much as the average online review.

Or just take her into combat, and load her aboard the ship with 1HP, easy pickings . Regarding the armor: It should be placed in your inventory again. Are you sure it isn't there? Regarding loading the Academy with the exile after "betrayal", another known bug Team Gizka had a fix for (but since you use the X-box it's quite pointless).
