  1. FPS'es: Rainbow Six + Rogue Spear etc. had no regen. health. Half-Lifes didn't. Doom didn't. Unreal didn't. DX and DX:IW didn't, Painkiller didn't, System Shocks didn't. RPG's: KOTOR1 didn't, BG's didn't, PS:T didn't, Gothics didn't, IWD's didn't. (unless with certain items ofcourse). What's all the fuss for regenerating health these days. Did ANYBODY had problems with above games having fixed healing items (or spells) which had to be taken when health was low? Meh; I don't think so. Personally I would like OE to play DX, then play DX:IW and note everything that has changed down on the "things we should NOT do" list...

  3. T3-M4 Remember what HK told after he found out the EH was voice-locked, and look at the message when you try to leave Nar Shaddaa without T3.

  5. Make sure you have the correct version (US, UK, German, French etc.) Also, if you have a non-US version, install 1.0a first.
  6. Seconding that, with the added comment of: "yes, you won't be seeing her again." (which can very well break the game).

  8. True. Surely you can work yourself around a game-breaking glitch, but rather not have them at all, eh? (*cough* Hidden Academy 1.0b *cough*) If I am not mistaken I read on Mantis that the "Storm the Wall" sequence wasn't (even if it featured the wrong type of dead bodies on the floor) or has that since been changed? Not to mention whole Peragus... .
  9. It seems LA took down the auto-patch for Kotor2. Get the manual one on their site...
  10. TG had a fix for this, but they have taken them down. But I am sure if you browse the nets you can find it somewhere.
  11. He probably went to the surface to finish his work there. Altough that is just my personal guess, no content ingame (present or cut) to tell what really happened to him. Also; the HK-factory was on the PC Disk (you can just use cheats to go there). The Droid Planet however wasn't present, and was ripped from the X-box (you can find the files on Gizka's site, once again, use the Warp cheat... or better; just use Dstoney's mod...)
  12. Yup, they intentionally designed Bao-Dur's fate after Kotor2 to be a 'mystery'. Probably for a sequel, as it isn't cut content at all... I still think that's about giving up the Remote to blow up Malachor. Why it isn't used (not even in the game-files at all); who knows? No-one is sure what it was intended for anyways, if it wasn't just for that purpose (stuffing it in trailers).
  13. Okay. Thanks anyways. Hmmm, fair enough. Another game I play though has such a seperate typo list forum (while using Mantis too), and it seems to work far more efficient. Of course that is on one assumption, just mentioning it. I don't have KOTOR2 on this PC, so arbitary numbers are used. Say, the Zabrak sword gives physical damage 7-12. Now you add in 2 different bonus items (with the workbench ofcourse) with 1-2 physical damage boost each. The item description would look like this: Damage 7-12 Damage Bonus: Damage Bonus: Critical Hit Threat 19-20 2x I can savely say it is only a display issues (combat logs show far higher damage output than the maximum of damage displayed) and have only seen it on the Zabrak Vibroblade. Yeah, I meant the Bith Arm, lying around the flophouse after the completion of the Expirimental Delivery quest. Got some alien races mixed up... my bad . I think it's the only datapad that uses the "empty" instead of vanishing 'path'.
  14. I've decided to do a second playthrough of the leaked beta (1.0b8), so that obviously means more fun bugs to be found. And since this time I did a complete reverse (DSF Exile, DSF Revan compared to both LSM first game) and knew how to get around the HK infinite black screen, so I can add HK-factory stuff, it has becomen quite the large list. Do not worry; most of them are minor though (alot of "he" references for Revan), but I do found some nice new game-stopping and major bugs. Little piece of advice; don't toy with HK if Visas is trying to kill you . I know TG says they don't want the reports, but Militiades seems to check them out, and since I really want to have a bugfree 1.0c release as much as the next guy... Last of all a question for anyone inside the TSL team. I am not sure wheter this is a bug or intentional, so it is not below, but I still find it worthy mentioning. It's about the HK-factory: End talking; start buglisting (none of the ones below are listed in the list of page 1!): As before, major bugs are underlined (all but 2 from the HK factory).
  15. Well, after that cutscene it is supposed to load the docks with Atton and the team, so if you walk around the area as the Exile you are effectively stuck. The only cause I can think of is Atton being in Stealth Mode when you ended the fight in the Bar, and that causes the engine to be confused (it has been the cause of a well-known KOTOR1 bug after Malak's fight on the Leviathan).
  16. Hehe. Same here. My last project (nothing related to KOTOR at all) left me after 2 months of coding with 2 months of bug crunching. Most "#$%@#%# why won't it WORK!!!" ended up being a dot or comma or ending tag (<>) missing, or not ending a set of choices . I wouldn't want to do that for years. Rather work on new stuff... much more fun :D.
  17. That was the module loading with the exile, instead of running the cutscene, not a crash like this. Team Gizka had a fix for that, but they no longer have. You could still try it if you find it though. And mods running?
  18. Nothing as yet. A subforum is one possibility but I don't want to preclude others. Can't Fionavar make the Technical Issues subforum public again? It hasn't been destroyed, has it?

  20. The "Technical Issues" subforum was removed because there weren't enough posts in there anymore.
  21. Take another look; is it still unchecked? If it doesn't store the info ingame, just manually open the file and alter: [Graphics Options] Width= Height= Save, and restart Kotor2.
  22. Let me guess; Windows Vista? It has a nasty ability to not allow *.ini changes. I hear copying to the desktop and then back is a quick "fix".
  23. I think your memory is playing with you. There is a workbench there, and a medlab. Has been so in 1.0, will be so in 1.0b.
  24. In that case you just haven't set the EnableCheats=1 in the SWkotor2.ini.
