So i am sure this was reported in two different threads as a separate bug i just thought to post it again as i now believe this is cipher specific bug . Ciphers Phantom Foes , Whispers of Treason and Dominate ends prematurely for no reason . Steps to reproduce , ahem use cipher spells on enemies and watch them ending before duration ran out . Most obvious is when you cast phantom foes , and enemy gets flanked , if one of your characters comes close to that enemy flanked will disappear

You can reach 0 Recovery with double Bittercuts meanwhile using Sanguine or Ryonas armor , this and sacred immolation is as far as it gets for dps paladin which is really not that bad if you consider he will be able to tank pretty much everything excluding dragons , require no micro and can deliver serious burst with FoD Sadly Sacred Immolation comes very late into the game

Currently high prestige means you get only Average Major and sometimes Legendary adventures this seems good at first but after some time when you are done with all "named" average/major adventures you keep getting generic average/major adventure without any specific reward meanwhile you never get Minor adventure and unique items it has also there are way more Minor ones than for example Major ones so you miss on quite a bit of items . Your best bet is to keep Prestige very low for as long as you can ( Use Hirelings that give - Prestige , Hang people etc ) eventually it will rise from various sources anyway .

Hmm i just respec one of my rogues on endgame save to test Unlabored , Vent Pick , Scion of Flame build with Deathblows , and in combat log it simply says "Roguename cast Flames of Devotion" without any further attack resolution, tho my FoD seems to be hitting for 68-72 damage on Deathblows target , anyway targets die so fast that its hard to see anything or even get anything to proc as i dont have much of enemies left on this save

Combusting Wounds should do wonders with any Blast / carnage / Multiple Projectiles setup but i think someone wrote on forum that they do not work at all currently ? If they do i have to start using them again , especially since you can put CW ring on wizard who then summons essential phantom who has spells from wizard rings .

Good thing about healbot ( Kind Wayfarer ) is if you have other healer , or another paladin you can focus less on its heals and just use Strange Mercy to its full potential = Take it at level 2 and then focus on heavy damage for the rest of the game ( Firebrand early with Scion of Flame works wonders ) , Strange Mercy can heal 100 Endurance on every ally in range from mid game, late game its endurance heal number gets so high that it heals everybody to full all the time

Merciless gaze only gets replaced by dire blessing i think , same as almost any self buff ability by priest spells ,which makes me wonder why priest buffs are not only aoe but also stronger than individual stuff , also having priest makes most of consumables useless Critical flaw in almighty balance :? Edit : i have never even considered that Potion or Dire blessing might replace Dirty Fighting worth checking i guess would be a bummer

Wizard combos like Blast + Pull of Eora + Minor Blights redefine the op -
Annihilation is additive +50% of your base ( and only when you crit ) , sabre base is 13-19 Unlabored blades damage comes from firebugs ( Firebug from Unlabored Blade and FoD from Vent Pick probably works with Deathblows too as deathblows currently give you +100% Damage to everything ) , you need firebug to be able to bounce for max damage tho
-
Heh Think about it that way : if you use Bittercut with rogue and Spirit of Decay , SoD will boost base damage of Bittercut before that damage is Boosted by 50% SA , 100 % DB , 150% Backstab , obviously fighter cant even come close to this , Annihilation on sabre will always be : 6-9 Damage on final attack resolution , and only when you crit However , some builds just dont have enough space for SoD talent or they need to pass other DPS talents for that so Resolution + Purgatory can be just as good , also you wont always have Mold to spare or even dont have Mold at all , some build might end up missing some Recovery Speed then you kinda have to opt for Rimecutters etc . Also Rogue with 0 Recovery , Unlabored Blade and Vent Pick using scion of flame could be a pretender to max DPS , especially if it is main character and can get Flick of the Wrist talent

I personally find chanters only good for tanking , they make decent tanks with aggro they get from damage chants , and their Invocations are good to seal the battle , other than that this class is utterly boring , tho their buffs sometimes are too hard to pass when making a party composition , and they do their tanking better than any other class so i find myself using chanter tank quite often

When it comes to clearing mobs i want it to be done by autos not by druid spells (would never use a per rest spell on trash fight ) anything that requires me to cast a spell imo is below average at clearing mobs , druids stag is nice tho with avenging storm his autos can be devastating -

Talking about relentless storm , ranger with stormcaller and lvl 13 talent gets nasty tho thats very late in the game best is to have them all : Wizard with Blast Barbarian with Unlabored Blade Dragon trashed chanter Ranger with Stormcaller Stag Druid And either priest or paladin for healing , both can do some nasty aoe by the end of the game , also KF pala gets easy time last hitting enemies when everybody else is doing carnage . I actually went with similar team just took a Cipher instead of Druid , now im really bored with ciphers and wish i played druid instead but i think Amplified Wave pays off in the end . After certain point in the game , you can set aggressive AI and only quick switch with cipher to generate focus for more amplified waves Barbarian with unlabored blade and AI that uses Frenzy and Savage Defiance requires literally 0 micro Same goes for ranger with stormcaller it makes no difference who he attacks Chanter can be left for AI as well , as long as dragon trashed is up he will tank everything Wizard with blast and Rod of Pale Shades works pretty much same as stormcaller ranger that leaves you only two characters to micromanage , also its worth noting that vs any kind of vessels Kind Wayfarer paladin can be safely left alone with aggressive AI as long as you have redeemer , just sit back and watch fireworks -

Wizards are imo best for dealing with large packs of enemies , not only they have plenty of AoE damage and CC spells , but Blast is a superior version of carnage and does wonders either with Golden Gaze ( 2x Blast proc ) or with Rod of Pale Shades ( Stunning , Interfering blast AoE ) also there is that implement that prone on crit . -
I kinda agree that if you want to experience ciphers real power you want 2 of them , or the cipher ends up in a supportive role as they cant use their op abilities on themselves . Best way i found to increase ciphers Focus Generation ( except the obvious Might, Draining Whip and Talisman ) is stacking +Damage Items ( +Ranged Damage or + Melee Damage and + Damage to Flanked targets ) . Cipher's Phantom Foes gives most reliable flanking in game , you can stack survival to give +30% damage to flanked targets and using some item will give you another 10% . Consider that all the abilities that increase focus gain only work on 33% of the damage i believe stacking damage modifiers is better than Focus Gain modifiers , for example on ranged cipher i would use Cloak that gives +10% ranged damage instead of Talisman that gives more focus , even if i loose some focus ( not sure if you do tho , needs to be counted ) i gain pure damage in the first place

2x Bittercuts or Purgatory + Resolution or Double Resolution Rimecutters are good if you lacking some speed for 0 recovery , Cladfalath Spear with Stun+Vicious duplicated with vax mold can be serious too Unlabored Blade cant be dual-wielded but some combination with Unlabored blade could be best too imo it depends on your talents/items/abilities

Oh it does not work that way , if you didnt get the adventure you wont be able to reload until you do , only thing you can reload for is , when you get for example Major Adventure you can keep reloading to cycle trough all major adventures , it wont change to any other type of adventure . I think the roll for what kind of stronghold event you will get ( adventure or no ) happens on a turn before .
