  1. Erm, yeah. Does it ever go beyond the realm of funny Engrish and become crappy Xenogears style?
  2. Speaking of which, does the awkward translation ever get frustrating?
  3. Shut up and kiss me, fool.
  4. Hmm. I shall rethink this, but at some other time when I'm less busy, and when I get pass the current gaming bottleneck I'm in. Besides, Airborne Assault: Conquest of the Aegean is my next priority purchase. I'll be waiting for your review too, alanschu, because you're an important person in my heart.
  5. FRAPS me some combat, jerk.
  6. Bop. http://www.dmreference.com/SRD/Combat/Move...nted_Combat.htm
  7. Here's a gamespy preview http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/neverwinter-nights-ii/704531p1.html
  8. Having a DS would be nice. There'd be a couple of games I'd play on it. Tetris DS (that tug-of-war mode looks awesome), Mario Kart DS, Advanced Wars DS. The upcoming Mario and Zelda look nice. Tales of the Tempest would be my top choice, though. And it's pretty much inevitable for a Fire Emblem to come out.

  10. Looks like Eldar is going on a killing spree come next session.
  11. You mean, you pirated it?
  12. The gameplay is anything but lacking. Like Escape Velocity: Nova, this game thrives on it's accessible and fun gameplay. In fact, you could say it's like Championship Manager - a little bit of micro-management...and a whole lot of of non-stop addictive fun! The gameplay is simple and so addictive, that you can't stop playing it. And if you can't stop playing it, it has to be engaging. -- Don't be a Commie! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> YOU're the Commie. I'm not convinced yet. Coop would have made this a lot more attractive. If coop is the only thing keeping me away from a purchase, as opposed to gameplay and gameplay alone interesting me, there's the question of whether I'll find this compelling enough on its own. I am *not* a usual fan of sandbox games. You couldn't pay me to play a MMORPG or another TES game, the Sims or whatever crap. Maybe eventually, but not now. This is what happens when companies don't bother with demos. Lost potential sales. I'll be reading more reviews, actually. You losers should be writing some, anyway. I'm quite skeptical of the supposedly subpar translation as well.
  13. I guess Atari figured all the DnD fans are on the PSP.
  14. In the end, I think I might end up giving SR2 the pass anyway. The dynamic world seems nice, but apparently the gameplay itself is lacking (combat isn't that engaging, or so I've heard). Also, I'm not sure I really feel like playing a sandbox game right now. I'm more into goal-directed gaming, which usually doesn't consist of finding good trade routes or striving for better equipment. Heh, I barely have enough time for my current games, anyway.
  15. *NEW* videos. These aren't the ones from IGN: 1) http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?type=mov&id=10314 2) http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?type=mov&id=10318 The combat/spellcasting animations seem good and functional enough, but nothing mindblowing. The main issue would be the framerate, really. It was nice to see the 'cone' area for spell targetting. Where did the music from the 2nd trailer come from? That's not a NWN1 placeholder track.
  16. http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?type=mov&id=10317 Interview with some game footage. "Taking the 3.5e ruleset and reproducing it faithfully for the PSP game." "Encumbrance, elevation, terrain." Intriguing. Menu commands I noticed: Special attack, move, magic, action. Drop prone, tumble, step, reload, draw, withdraw, bard music, disable trap, open door, open lock, heal, appraise, escape, sleight. Hmm, this doesn't actually sound like a load of crap.
  17. Shadowless Sword, some Korean period 'Wuxia' movie cofinanced by New Line and to be distributed internationally by them.
  18. I want one on the Wii. That'd be brilliant.
  19. Does it matter? Of course it does. I want to see Lonewolf do all that stuff he's describing.
  20. They had to explain it clearly BECAUSE they know you well enough.
  21. 21st? Go go inheritance!
  22. I thought console games were perfect and didn't need patches?
