  1. I'm hoping Obsidian keeps up with regular premium modules.
  2. I vote for 1 and 4.
  3. The only guilty party is Eldar and you know it.
  4. Witch's Wake was enjoyable, but I find people hugely overrate it, especially given its length.
  5. With MCA doing the writing for the party members, I'm giving NWN2 the edge over FO. I don't really care about enslaving cities or being able to kill anyone in the game. That's just petty thuggery. I opt for genocide-em-up games instead of RPGs for that.
  6. I dunno, I'd call shooting in the back pretty significant interaction.
  7. <3 Okami artstyle.
  8. So why bother keeping up with the gaming industry at all? You already have FO and BG.
  9. Well, some people don't mind playing the same games over and over again.
  10. Hey, the game's almost 10 years old, dawg. DAWG. Represent!
  11. Try playing it in compatibility mode. Right-click the .exe file and go to properties. Go in win95 mode.
  12. You wouldn't be able to unless you opened up the original module files and scripted it in.
  13. It's kinda like those sites that gave NWN great scores, then a few years down the line put it on the 'most overrated games of all time' list. I think that was Gamespy.
  14. How does SW and DnD constitute standards?
  15. You don't know that for sure. Remember when the next FF was 'sure' to be on N64? They even made a tech demo for it. Hey, maybe Nintendo was too arrogant, and that led to its relative downfall. Sony isn't being arrogant at all right now. All you're "guaranteed" right now is FFXIII and its spin-off. Wii is already guaranteed a DQ and FFCC title. Yes, spin-offs, but you don't get DQ spin-offs being developed by the main DQ team everyday. It can go both ways. Heck, FFXIII might not even end up exclusive. Maybe the 360 will get some love too. Case in point, PSP vs DS. Squenix' support for the DS is crapping all over their PSP support. They go where the money is. There is no free ride this gen.
  16. I'm not all over the price. Getting the console with some controllers is going to add up. I can't necessarily say it's a bad move from Nintendo. The consoles will sell out anyway initially. I think allowing for more eventual price drops could make for more sales in the long run. Of course, this applies to the other consoles as well. Either way, I'm not planning on getting one until the titles that fully exploit the new control scheme get made. So far, the titles I'm anticipating the most are Fire Emblem (make one for DS, morans) and Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which don't really draw from the Wiimote's potential. Ooh, I want a survival horror game where they give you a gun in one hand and a flashlight in the other. Or let me independantly dual-wield two guns at once, or two swords. Or a gun and a sword, letting me carry out a duel with a swordwielding boss while I'm also shooting cronies that are trying to ambush me. Basically, I want experiences that the traditional control scheme simply can't provide. In the meantime, the DS is getting awesome titles, so I'm in no rush to go back to the console realm.
  17. I preordered from EB Games. They gave me a card with the code on it.
  18. Wait. You're being sarcastic.
  19. Preordered yesterday. Can't wait for next week ^_^
  20. The irony was that all the doom and gloom was generated mostly for the DLA mod. Most of the other modders/teams stayed relatively quiet.
  21. Haha, after all the drama, DLA takes back all the hate and makes up with Atari.
  22. I dunno. My brother just got home, with a brand new copy of NHL 2007.
  23. http://www.gamespot.com/betas/darkmessiah/index.php The multiplayer beta for Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is now open to everyone. All you need is a free Gamespot account.
